baby babbles - Chapter 33: Chapter 33

Louis hummed as he began to get breakfast ready. He knew that Liam had been having a rough time at school lately and so his daddies had been working hard to make sure that Liam was comfortable.
No one really asked Liam why he was having a hard time they just noticed that he hadn't been wanting to go to school lately and it was getting to be quite the problem.
They didn't know Liam was getting bullied at school for having four dads, they also weren't aware that the teacher was giving Liam a problem for the exact same reason.
"Liam honey, it's time to get up," Harry sighed as he entered the little one's bed room.
Liam who was 5 and had really just started school rolled over and shook his head pressing his head into his pillows. He didn't want to get up. He didn't want to face the bullies again. Last time he got stuffed in a locker. He didn't want to deal with it again.
"no daddy," Liam whined quietly as he pressed his face further into the pillows a small whine slipping from his lips.
Harry frowned and ran his hand over Liam's cheek checking for any kind of temperature realizing there was none he sighed.
"Liam Payne, it's time for you to get up for school," Harry was a little bit firmer and Liam slowly crawled out from behind his covered and stood up refusing to look at his father, still not willing to tell them just what was going on at school.
"Ok," He mumbled a hand resting on his stomach and Harry smiled kissing his forehead and setting the little ones clothes out and leaving the room so the little one could get dressed. Liam came out a few minutes later he was dragging his feet as he made his way into the kitchen.
"Morning bud!" Zayn smiled as he noticed his son.
He observed that the little one wasn't acting right. He hadn't been acting right the last few days and no one really knew why. They didn't know what was going on at school.
"Don't feel good Papa," Liam groaned as he found a seat and pulled himself into it setting his head on the table tears filling his eyes. "No like school," he added and suddenly four worried pairs of eyes were on their little boy.
"Why not by?" Niall asked as he slid into the chair next to the five year old. Liam just shrugged and pressed his face into his arms sniffling as he clutched at his stomach.
"no one likes me," Liam let out a small cry into his arms and Louis frowned as he ran his fingers over the little boys buzz cut hair.
The fathers all looked at each other slightly amused. They'd all had that time where they thought no one liked them so they knew they could work with their little one.
"Oh by that's not true!" Zayn kissed the side of his head as he began to pack the little one's ck pack and Liam just sighed and curled in further on himself.
"by, Listen to ok?" Louis added quietly, "People at school like you, they just don't know how to show it ok?". He ran his fingers over the little boy's arm. Liam picked his head up
"Yeah buddy, I've talked to some of the mothers they love you!" Niall added and Liam looked up doubtfully but the ach in his stomach was fading slightly. His daddies sure did know how to make him feel better.
"Promise?" He asked quietly and they all nodded. Liam let out another quiet noise before standing up and grabbing his shoes and ck pack and slipping them on.
"ok love you," Liam announced and Harry laughed grabbing his hand and leading him out to the bus stop. They had no idea what they were sending their little man into.

It was recess and the teacher had stuck him in the corner seven times total today and she'd failed him on almost everything he'd done for the day and every time he asked for help she ignored him. The kids were getting even worse and Liam was currently hiding in the corner of the school yard sporting a black eye from being hit by one of the larger kids in class.
"Hey F*g!" he heard someone shout and he felt bile rise up in his throat and suddenly his bullies were all cornering her screaming nasty names at him and suddenly he was being kicked and hit and punched and the teacher just stood there and watched it happened.
One of the parents who had come to pick up their son early noticed a crowd of children in the corner seemingly shouting and beating on someone else. She noticed one of those kids as her son. She glanced towards the teacher anger.
"JONATHAN SEWARD!" She shouted at her son and One of the boys froze in his tracks.
"You get away from that boy right now!" She hissed.
"But mom!" He shouted and the mother stalked over and looked in the middle of the pile. Liam was laying on the ground eyes screwed shut and tears running down his face followed by blood coming from his ear, nose, and mouth and he was bent at an odd angle.
"What did you do to him! Away from him ALL OF YOU!" the mother screamed and quickly the kids dispersed. The teacher slowly made her way over.
"Oh, It's just Liam Payne, leave him be," The teacher instructed before walking away.
The mother felt so angry she was sick to her stomach as she picked up the little boy into her arms and grabbed her son by the ear and stalked to the front office.

Niall had been sitting and talking with his three husnds about Liam's school situation when the phone rang. Zayn was quick to jump up and get it assuming it was management or something but frowning when he read the caller ID.
"it's the school," He uttered before picking up the phone and talking to some one on the other end.
"Yeah, we'll be there right away, yeah just keep him calm, thank you for calling," Zayn hung up and looked towards his lovers.
"Liam's been beaten up," He rushed out and that was all any one needed to hear they were up and off to the school in a flash.
When they got to the school they rushed into the nurses area and found Liam still covered in dirt and bruises and his nose and mouth were still bleeding quite a bit.
A young woman they recognized was sitting with him. She was one of the sweetest mothers there. Niall rushed over to the bed with Louis and their hearts ached.
"What the hell happened?" Zayn demanded as he looked at the nurse who shrugged and pointed to the mother who was still holding her son firmly by the ear.
"I got here to pick up John early to take him to a doctors appointment only to find them all crowded around Liam kicking him and screaming slurs at him," She explained and Harry felt a small sinking feeling in his stomach. Maybe this is why Liam said no one liked him this morning.
"the teacher told me to just leave him there!" she seethed as she looked up to the men.
"We'll worry about this later, I think we need to get Li to a hospital," Louis urged as he ran his fingers over his swollen little boy's face. Niall nodded as did the mother.
"Please let me know what I can do, I will help pay any bills you need me too, John here is in a lot of trouble." She promised and the boys all nodded quickly at her before rushing Liam out of the school and to a hospital.
"Daddy, Papa, , Dada," Liam cried quietly as he was lead ck to an emergency room his parents following quickly behind.
"Shh by , I'm right here," Harry reassured the little boy as the doctors began to poke and prod at the little boys sensitive skin they took x-rays and ended up butterfly ndaging the little boys gashed open lip and ndaging his nose up, he made sure there was no damage to the little boy's ears.
He said he'd be hard of hearing for a little bit and he'd be sore for a few days but the only thing broken was the little boy's ankle which had been twisted and kicked at an odd angle. They put a boot on him and allowed him to go home with his daddies.
"I'm so sorry we didn't listen," Zayn gently pulled his little man even closer to his chest. Liam just sniffled and cuddled in closer. He'd been given pain medication so he was a little out of it.
"No more go ck," He slurred into his dads chest. Zayn looked around the car.
"No by, you won't be going ck there I promise," Louis hissed firmly.
The school would pay for what happened to Liam and they'd figure out what to do about his schooling later. Tonight they were focused on cuddling their Liam and making sure he knew how loved he was.
