Freda’s POV
“What do you mean?” I paused and tried to keep my tone flat as my hands and feet instantly turned cold.
Levi held Olivia up and yelled at me in disgust and rage, “Because he was sent by your grandparents and he’s from their pack!”
He seemed to be embarrassed about this past and was outraged. He gritted his teeth as the veins on his forehead were bulging, “Since you wanna know the truth, they should know better than anyone else. When I was about to track that guy down, he had already left. If it wasn’t because your mother helped me a lot before and she’s gone, I wouldn’t have been so tolerant of you. But you’ve gone too far now, Freda!”
I held my breath a little and immediately calmed myself down, pushing down my anger and shock, “Yeah, she’s gone so she can’t argue with you no matter what you say.”
“You don’t believe me?”
“No,” I said coldly, “stop with your lying. This is absurd. You betrayed her and still dare to slander her like this when she’s gone. Levi, you’re the most despicable person I’ve ever seen.”
Levi was panting wrathfully and took a deep breath before he said, “I know you won’t believe me but this is the truth you’ve been looking for. I’ve fulfilled my promise and now you should tell me where Natasha is.”
“She’s my daughter,” Levi spoke ruthlessly, “you already don’t see me as your father and I don’t want a rebellious and cruel daughter like you. Then Natasha is my only daughter now. Say it, where is she?”
His only daughter.
When he said that out loud, the bridges were burnt and something that had been connecting us broke and wouldn’t be reconnected ever again.
Levi was more serious and solemn than ever but strangely I wasn’t shocked or even sad to hear him say that. He was not worth wasting my time for.
“Freda, I used to love you so much but you’ve disappointed me and our pack way too many times. I don’t know what to do now,” Levi grunted, “tell me where Natasha is and if you didn’t hurt her, maybe…maybe we can still salvage our relationship.”
This sounded like a joke to me.
“Our relationship? We don’t have that kind of thing anymore. Maybe we did before but now you only disgust me.”
“You…don’t push it, Freda. If you continue to behave like this, I won’t show mercy on you!” Levi roared, “tell me what you’ve done to her! If you hurt Natasha or did something worse to her, I will punish you, mark my words.”
“Something worse? Like killing her?” something crossed my mind and I sneered, “what will you do when it comes to murdering a sibling?”
Levi looked dead into my eyes and finally spoke after a while, “I’ll send that person to the punishment room and have them banished.”
Good, Levi, remember what you’ve just said. I thought to myself.
Seeing how the tension between us built up, Olivia wouldn’t give up this opportunity. She was playing the victim and was trying to make things worse between me and Levi. She was dying to see Levi snap my neck or teach me a lesson. So she said, “I’m begging you, Freda, just come at me and don’t hurt Natasha. If you really do something to Natasha, your father will hate you. This is for your own sake. If you want Carl back, Natasha’s willing to give up the marriage and leave…”
With a few words, Olivia managed to point out the problem here. If I really have something to do with Natasha’s missing, then I’m the one who sabotaged the marriage between the Fullmoon Pack and the Blood Moon Pack. But if Natasha really threw herself to Jason Andrews as she thought, then she could just say that I forced Natasha to leave and find someone else.”
“You’re good at acting as always,” I thought for a minute and laughed sarcastically, “did Natasha leave because she has a better new target who has more to offer to her?”
I assumed they didn’t know Jason got his ass kicked by Allen.
Olivia instantly froze.
Levi frowned, “What new target? Freda, I can’t believe you’re so vile that you’re slandering your own sister like this.”
“She used her miscarriage as an excuse and stole my fiancé. You really think she’s still your sweet innocent girl? And think about all the money you’re gonna give to her as her wedding gift. You stupid and arrogant alpha. Sometimes I feel so sorry for you because you have no idea that you’re eating out of their hands and still think they really love you!” I said without mercy. I didn’t have to pretend to be an obedient daughter in front of him a long time ago.
Levi’s eyes were turning green, which meant he was about to turn into his wolf form. I knew he was pissed off by what I just said.
Olivia looked like she was afraid I would say more and couldn’t wait to see me killed by my own father, “Freda, all I wanna know is where Natasha is. You can’t…you can’t treat your father and sister like this. Did you really kill her? Where is my baby girl?!”
“You know exactly where she is,” I said frigidly.
I could tell from her face that she was panicking.
“You keep saying that I did something to Natasha but she was the one who came to me and asked me out. Why don’t you say that she did something to me? Like, she always hats me so she set me up,” I said as I stared at Levi.
Levi wasn’t so sure anymore but then he denied it immediately, “Natasha won’t be like that.”
“Huh,” I snorted, “when Natasha heard that Andrews had feelings for me, she was jealous as hell.”
Olivia couldn’t keep his cool anymore.
But Levi was focusing on something else, “Jason Andrews has feelings for you?”
“Oh! That disgusting look on his face! I bet he’s reevaluating you again,” Cam said contemptuously.
I interrupted him, “Compared to Carl, in her opinion, Natasha thought she could benefit more from Jason. Like father like daughter. You’re both a bunch of snobs. So Natasha took Jason’s side. Olivia knows everything. She keeps saying she lost contact with Natasha, right? She’s just fooling you, you idiot.”
“Natasha left with Jason willingly,” I wasn’t being completely honest with him but I knew Olivia didn’t know what exactly happened with Natasha so I continued, “Natasha doesn’t care about the Fullmoon Pack and the marriage contract with the Blood Moon Pack at all when it comes to bigger interest.”
Levi turned grim and glared at Olivia.
Olivia gritted her teeth as her face turned pasty, “…Freda, I can’t believe how vicious you can be. Natasha went missing because of you and you keep doing this to her! Levi, sometimes you gotta interrogate her for the sake of our baby girl Natasha!”
Though Levi didn’t trust Olivia so much anymore, he still looked at me gloomily and clutched his fists, “Freda, if you don’t tell me where she is, I’ll make you speak with my whip.”
“Take a look at this, you moron,” I looked him in the eyes fearlessly and threw something at him, “you wanna know where she is and what she did before she vanished? You’ll find out after you finished watching this!”
“Natasha’s the one who’s been trying to kill her sibling!”
Olivia’s face turned pale and subconsciously wanted to take the thing I threw into Levi’s arms but it was too late. Levi had already opened the video and the screaming sound of Natasha and Olivia echoed in the room at the same time.
“No!”
“This is my gift for you, Freda.”
