Freda’s POV
But it was too late for Olivia.
“…From now on, there will only be one Miss Greenwald and it’ll be me! And you will be Mr. Andrews’ little pet for the rest of your life, Freda! I’ve done my part of the deal and now it’s your turn, Mr. Andrews,” Natasha laughed hysterically on the screen and from the look on Levi’s face, I could tell how shocked he was when he found out his sweet innocent daughter was actually such a twisted monster.
“Of course, Miss. You, too, have a wonderful evening.”
After Jason Andrews said that, Natasha was taken out of the room by a muscular man as she started moaning.
Olivia’s face was pale as paper and at such a critical time, she made up her mind and pretended to be petrified, “No…no way…No, Natasha’s not that kind of girl. Someone must have set her up! Levi, you gotta believe in Natasha!”
“You know exactly what kind of person she is, Mrs. Olivia, am I right?” I stopped Olivia who wanted to pretend to faint and fall into Levi’s arms so she could stop this video, “and don’t you wanna know what she did and where she went?”
Levi glared at her.
The images changed and on the screen was Natasha’s distorted face, “You’re just as fake and phony like your mother so I wanna take away father’s love for you, your marriage, and your money. I wanna see if you can still stay on your high horse when you lose everything like me! You’re born with a silver spoon but I have to earn my rights by pretending to be weak. You despise me but those idiots are still eating out of my hand, giving me their everything.”
“You can’t compete with me. You’re just lucky,” Natasha’s eyes were wide open as she glared at me furiously, “once I kill you, I’ll be the only Miss Greenwald and the sole heir! I’m…going to kill you!”
At the end of the video, Natasha knocked me to the top of the car. The camera and the car recorder I was carrying at that time didn’t work anymore so I didn’t know where Natasha went.
However, the footage was enough to stop Levi and Olivia from accusing me.
“I’ve been fighting against Natasha for so long. I would never be unprepared when she suddenly gave me an invitation for no reason,” I sneered and took back my phone. I glanced at Levi and Olivia and didn’t wanna miss the looks on their faces. They looked so ridiculous that I bet Cam wanna get a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the scene.
“I…I don’t know anything about Natasha and Andrews’s relationship…Ah!”
Levi’s slap stopped Olivia’s explanation.
He was wearing a long face as he knocked her to the ground, “And you said she went out to have a break!”
“No…Levi, I really didn’t know…I warned Natasha that the marriage contract with the Blood Moon Pack is important for us. So many things have happened recently and Natasha might have been too worried and anxious. Or else she wouldn’t have done anything like this…”
“Shut up! You moron! What else have you been hiding from me?” Levi roared in his alpha voice. He was humiliated when he found out his beloved and spoiled daughter had been lying to him like this so he didn’t show any mercy on Olivia. Olivia was so scared that she couldn’t help trembling and her face turned pasty because Levi looked like he wanted to kill her.
“Stop it, alpha Levi,” I interrupted them coldly and obviously I didn’t do that to protect Olivia. I reminded him, “Do you still remember what you just said?”
Levi turned to look at me and was still pretty mad.
I looked him right in the eyes and said, “What will you do if one of us tries to kill her sister?”
Levi opened his mouth but didn’t say anything.
And I slowly repeated what he said just minutes ago, “Send her to the punishment room and have her banished. At first, she tried to drug me with a man from another pack and wanted to give me to him as a pet. Then this scheme didn’t work out and she tried to kill me. How are you gonna deal with such a vicious woman, alpha Levi?”
I looked at him curiously.
The room was quiet for a long time and Olivia was trying to suppress her weeping. After a while, Levi said, “…You’ve been wronged.”
I couldn’t help but laugh.
After knowing the truth, all he said to me was that “you’ve been wronged”. That wasn’t enough at all! And before this happened, he threatened me so many times for Natasha.
“Lip service means garbage to me,” I coldly reminded him.
“Levi, please…Natasha is our daughter and she’s been so obedient to you for so many years…”
“You’ve been acting for so many years. Good for you,” I acted to be cool and brought that up, reminding Levi that Natasha was just using him and he was played like a violin. Who knew if she was just pretending to love him all these years?
Olivia turned to look at me, petrified.
Levi closed his eyes wretchedly and said, “…I’ll tell the warriors to stop searching for Natasha and I’ll send an order to forbid her from stepping into the Fullmoon Pack. And once she is found, I’ll have her…”
“Banished.”
The second he said that word, Olivia crumbled to the ground and didn’t dare to say anything when Levi gave her a terrifying look.
Then he turned to me and tried to sound kind and loving, “You’ve been through a lot and I’m sorry about that, Freda. I didn’t know…the truth at all. I’ll talk to the Blood Moon Pack and give you back your marriage contract. Freda, come home. We’re family after all and I’ll try my best to make it up to you, my dear.”
Since Natasha made a deal with Jason Andrews and even got involved with other men, she was useless to him now, which was why he would banish Natasha and say that to me.
“At the end of the day, your interest is still your priority,” I sneered, “but I don’t want that marriage at all.”
“Freda, don’t be like this…”
“I don’t need your love a long time ago. You haven’t been around for years and now you wanna fix our relationship right away. That’s impossible, Levi.”
I took a deep breath and suppressed the weird feeling in my chest, saying, “The reason why I came here is that I wanna put an end to our relationship. I will never come back again. We’re strangers now. My father died the day he betrayed my mother.”
“Besides,” I smiled, “you don’t need to worry about not having a daughter to marry to the Blood Moon Pack.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Levi frowned.
“Natasha sent me a gift so…”
“I also sent a gift to Carl.”
