The Fullmoon Pack
Five days ago.
Alpha Levi stayed in that position for a long time after alpha Allen left with Freda. He stared in the direction of the gate Freda walked out of and just froze there. Though his wounds were hurting like crazy, Levi did mean it when he called out her name for the last time, though Freda might not believe it.
Levi admitted that he was being too selfish and wanted to trade Freda for his own benefit. But he had never ever wanted to actually watch Freda die.
“Alpha Levi…” Olivia was also wounded. She came up and wanted to hold him up, thinking that if she cried to him like before, things would go back to normal, “You’re hurt. Let me take care of your wounds. How could she be so cruel…”
“She’s been hiding this from us for so long and now she let her partner hurt you like this…”
As she started sobbing, Levi was irritated and pushed Olivia away, glaring at her furiously. The bloody scars on his face made him look terrifying. He questioned her hoarsely, “Olivia, how many things have you been hiding from me?”
“What…What are you talking about?” Olivia panicked as her face turned pale, “I didn’t know anything about Natasha’s missing! Alright, she did mention to me that she wanted to see Andrews because she was really sad that Carl has been neglecting her. I’ve told her to cherish her engagement with Carl. But Natasha still did it maybe because Carl really broke her heart. And isn’t the Andrews family much better than that small pack?”
“Then how about flattering me?” alpha Levi’s eagle eyes made it impossible for Olivia to make a move as he said, “is it all faked? You two stole the marriage contract from Freda and forced her to leave. Is all of this just a plot for you? Good for you! You guys think I’m a puppet that’s easy to manipulate, don’t you? I’m just a fool who’s been eating out of your hands!”
His furious roar echoed in the room and Levi looked like he wanted to kill Olivia right now. He was filled with rage and maybe it was because he got beaten up by Allen or because of Olivia and Natasha’s lies. His head was filled with rage and frustration.
“I’m gonna cut you off! I’ll banish you from the Fullmoon Pack!” Levi screamed as his face distorted. He got all riled up and the wounds were all ripped open and started bleeding again because of his rage. He looked like a devil from hell right now.
“Olivia, as the alpha of the Fullmoon Pack, I order you to…”
Olivia froze.
She had spent so many years with him and she knew he really meant it and wanted to blame everything on her. Everything wouldn’t be the same anymore so she just stopped pretending and snorted, “Are you blaming me? You weak hypocrite. Don’t forget you’re the one who’s been turning a deaf ear to our plots!”
Olivia had always been obedient and sweet in front of him and seeing her talking like this, Levi was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do. He looked at her in disbelief, “You vicious bitch!”
“You’re banishing me anyway. What? You still expect me to be nice to you?” Olivia stood up and laughed as she pointed at Levi, trembling, “you’re the biggest pretender here, Levi. If it weren’t for your greed, you wouldn’t have forced Freda to give up on her marriage when Natasha and Carl were still together. Don’t forget that you were the person who forced her to open an annulment ceremony.”
“And…” Olivia continued, “as for the properties, don’t you dare say that you’re doing this for Natasha and the marriage with the Blood Moon Pack. All you want is to take back Freda’s money as much as possible. So you’re the one who forced Freda to leave and made her become so cruel to the pack and even her father! It’s you!”
A rage was storming in his chest and a mouthful of blood gushed out of his mouth. He suddenly felt the world was spinning.
“I’ve expected you to be so vile and despicable. How dare you lied to me for all these years!” Levi pointed at Olivia, clutching his chest.
But Olivia just laughed harder, “Yeah, you’re the reason why Freda left and the Fullmoon Pack was in crisis! It’s you, you big moron!”
“In the name of the Fullmoon Pack’s alpha, I order you, Olivia, to…”
Olivia felt that every one of her bones was aching and trembling but she still managed to force a smile and said, “You cold-blooded, ruthless alpha…”
“You’re always saying how much you love us…but actually…you only love yourself! You’re the most selfish man I’ve ever met!”
“I’m going to…banish you!” Levi continued.
Olivia was in pain and kept bleeding because her wounds were all ripped open. But she had to leave the Greenwald Estate as Levi glared at her wrathfully. Levi was all alone in this spacious house and he suddenly felt empty. He looked down at his hands and was overwhelmed by a surge of helplessness. Finally, Levi closed his eyes and started to hear the sounds of laughter and joy from the past in his head.
Before he passed out, he was thinking about the fact that Freda was actually alpha Allen’s partner. That was the alpha of the Midnight Claws Pack. What if he could be nicer to Freda…Levi couldn’t believe he just said he wanted to gift Freda to Jason as a pet in front of alpha Allen…
Olivia was right, the only one Levi truly loved was himself.
Three days later, Levi saw the person alpha Allen sent. He wasn’t here to talk about cooperation but to force him to give back the properties that belonged to Freda. Of course Levi wouldn’t easily agree. But beta Richard convinced him with just a few words.
Beta Richard smiled, “Our alpha has said that if you say no, he will officially challenge you. At that time, the warriors of the Midnight Claws Pack will come. Oh, by the way, you met alpha Allen last time right? Then you should know alpha Allen has fully recovered. Then, do you still think you stand a chance?”
“Or let me put it this way, do you think our Luna will still choose to help you?”
Though Richard was smiling the whole time, Levi felt shivers down his spine. He thought of how easy it was for Allen to tear him down. Finally, he held back his anger and nodded yes.
Beta Richard of the Midnight Claws Pack left, satisfied.
Levi was left alone in the estate. Olivia and Natasha weren’t there with him and neither was Freda. There was only him and Mrs. Susan who yelled at him all day. After Freda took back her properties, he didn’t even have many shares in the Greenwald Group anymore. He felt like he was back when the pack was in crisis except for this time Freda’s mother wouldn’t come and help him anymore.
Levi suddenly thought of that woman’s beautiful yet distant face.
“She’s indeed your daughter,” Levi sighed and he hadn’t thought about Freda’s mother for a long time.
He wondered how Freda was doing right now.
What if I didn’t play favorites and always take Natasha’s side? Levi thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Freda was training with Allen happily. And occasionally, Kent would run in the woods with her in his arms. She had got the best partner in the world and didn’t need her self-centered father anymore.
