Freda POV
The crowd instantly turned and looked at me.
“Who are you?” a reporter asked.
For so many years, because of my reluctance to be in public with my father, everyone thought that Natasha was the daughter of alpha and didn’t know who the first and legitimate daughter was and what she looked like.
I walked up to the stage in Natasha’s stunned and frightened eyes, calmly pushed through the crowd and those who tried to stop me were stopped by Mila.
I glanced at Natasha who was a bit overwhelmed. She probably didn’t expect me to show up here. I slowly sat down and introduced myself to everyone, “Hello, I am alpha Levi’s eldest daughter and Natasha’s sister who you are now curious about, Freda Greenwald.”
“You are Freda?” They fixed their attention on me at once
“ Yes.”
“So what are you doing here today?” a reporter asked, “are you trying to stop this succession ceremony?”
“Aren’t you guys curious about me?” I smiled and said slowly, “curious about how I bullied this poor, innocent Miss Natasha. But I want to ask Natasha, what have I robbed you of over the years?”
Natasha’s face turned pale as she pretended to be weak and pulled my sleeve, “Freda, I know you hate father for giving me the company, but you can’t let that affect father’s group and Moonlight Jewelry like this. I just want to take care of Moonlight Jewelry and help it thrive…”
Evelyn, who came with Natasha, shouted angrily down the stage, “You bitch, you’re bullying Natasha only because she’s too nice. You’ve poached people from her company, and now you wanna come and ruin this press conference. You are just jealous of Natasha!”
I chuckled, “What am I jealous of her for?”
The stupid and brainless Evelyn blurted out, “Of course, you’re jealous that Natasha gets more love than you do from alpha Levi, that Carl loves Natasha, and that a cold-blooded and heartless woman like you doesn’t deserve their love! Moonlight Jewelry is also a wedding gift from Levi to Natasha, you just can’t see Natasha having a better life than you do!”
As if suddenly remembering something, Evelyn pointed at me and cursed, “She also killed Natasha and Carl’s…”
But before she finished her sentence, she was interrupted by Natasha’s raised voice. Natasha’s face turned green and pale and her eyes were opened wide with anger at Evelyn, afraid of what she might say.
I asked, “I am jealous of Natasha? I am the one who has the right to inherit the Fullmoon Pack. Why would I be jealous of a bastard child, who was born before my parents’ partnership was terminated?”
I bluntly pointed out the fact that Natasha’s mother was a mistress, which made Natasha look even more upset and want to end this press conference right away.
A reporter said, “But this is not something that Natasha can decide. Is that why you are angry with Natasha and keep bullying her?”
“I don’t know when I’ve ever bullied Natasha,” I said, “is it when I didn’t agree to give my mother’s Moonlight Jewelry to the bastard child as a wedding gift, or is it when I didn’t give my blessing to you and Carl who should have been my fiancé?”
“Or the fact that you had Carl’s child and used him to blackmail me into backing out of the marriage with Carl, but I refused to explain it in front of everyone for you? Is it all this bullying, Natasha?”
Everyone gasped when they heard what I said.
“Oh my God, so it was Natasha who stole her sister’s engagement?”
“Yeah, it’s always been said only that the Blood Moon Pack and the Fullmoon Pack would be united by a marriage. But looking at it this way, it should be the alpha’s eldest daughter’s marriage.”
“Natasha is just like her mother…”
“No, I’m not!” Natasha shouted in panic.
Evelyn also panicked and tried to defend Natasha by saying, “No, that’s because you didn’t even like Carl. Then Natasha…”
“Evelyn!” Natasha shouted, losing control.
But everyone around us had heard what she said, and Evelyn’s words made it perfectly clear that it was Natasha who had stolen the engagement that belonged to Carl and me.
The reporter asked Natasha a harsh question, “So, Miss Natasha, you stole your sister Freda’s engagement, and you want her mother’s company as your wedding present?”
Someone whispered, “Oh my God, I can’t believe Natasha is such a horrible person.”
“That’s not very surprising, is it? After all, Natasha has been letting people think she’s the inheritor of the Fullmoon Pack until Freda is forced to make her appearance in public,” Mila, who had disguised herself into the crowd, said.
Her words also started a heated conversation.
“Natasha, I gave you a chance before, but you didn’t learn your lesson and came back to mess with me. You even get my mother involved,” I said this to Natasha and turned to leave.
Natasha tried to grab me, but she was stopped by reporters and they threw the harshest questions at her. Her exquisite makeup didn’t look so pretty anymore.
Suddenly, someone screamed, “Help! Natasha passed out!”
Mila looked back and then left without stopping, “Do you think she really fainted or not?”
I also subconsciously looked back just now, but quickly continued to walk away, “People who really pass out do not have the time to find the right angle and position.”
Mila agreed with me.
We left calmly and the sun was shining bright outside.
