"Sophie, why are you here?" Matilda didn't have a good expression towards Sophie .
"I came to see Jake and brought some food for him."
Stephen, who was in the hospital ward, seemed to hear Sophie's voice and said, "Let her in."
Matilda had no choice but to let Sophie in. When Sophie went in, she deliberately looked at the door number of the ward, which was different from the one Damon gave her. The room number that Damon found seemed to be next door.
Next door, Jake heard a familiar voice, enduring the pain in his body and getting up from the hospital bed.
Did Mommy come to see him?
He happily opened the door and saw Sophie entering Stephen's room next door.
When did Mommy get to know Stephen? Didn't Mommy come here to see him?
Jake stood on tiptoe and looked inside with difficulty through the glass of the ward.
Sophie looked at Stephen, whose foot was in a cast, and didn't expect the injury to be so serious.
"Jake, Auntie brought you some food."
"I don't want it, take it away! Are you trying to poison me to death? By pretending to come over to see me, you think I'm not miserable enough!"
"Baby! Shut up!" Matilda scolded.
"Auntie is here with good intentions, came to see you and brought you food. You can't be so rude!"
Stephen directly pushed the thermos away and almost caused it to fall to the ground, "If I said I'll not eat, I won't eat. The bad person, she's a bad person, Mommy, chase away the bad person!"
Matilda looked embarrassed on the surface, but she was actually extremely pleased inside.
Her son had done a great job, embarrassing Sophie as he should.
Matilda looked at Sophie and Hurley in distress, "Sophie, my son still needs to rest, and his injury is not light. Perhaps, it's better if you go back home."
Sophie saw the child's resentment towards her. She nodded and deliberately placed hand on Stephen 's leg as she left.
Stephen did not seem to react. This should not happen, it was completely unexpected.
Sophie put her hand on Stephen 's joint and pressed it again. This time, Stephen noticed her subtle movements, but did not show any signs of pain.
"What are you doing!"
"Nothing." Sophie looked at Hurley, "Can you give me a ride?"
Hurley senses that Sophie seemed to have something to say, so he hesitated for a moment and then said, "Okay."
Matilda could only watch helplessly as the two left the ward, her teeth on the verge of being crushed.
Seeing Daddy and Mommy coming out, Jake quietly hid.
"Sophie, don't come to see my son again."
"Don't worry, I definitely will never meet 'Jake' again."
This sentence happened to be heard by Jake, and Jake felt uncomfortable in his heart. He covered his mouth and didn't let himself make a sound.
Sure enough, Mommy hated him and she didn't even want to see him.
As the two walked far away, Jake didn't hear what happened next.
Sophie continued, "What did the doctor say about his leg?"
Hurley still told Sophie what the doctor said, and Sophie frowned. This was impossible. It was definitely not that serious, there must be something wrong.
"I suspect that his leg wasn't broken at all, and whether he was injured or not is still questionable."
"Sophie, are you saying that the injuries are all fake?" Hurley obviously didn't believe it."
"I'm just guessing. If you don't believe me, forget it." Sophie didn't say much. Hurley was such a domineering person, but he could still be fooled by Matilda and her son.
Although Hurley did not believe it immediately,a small doubt had taken root in his mind.
"What about Anabel?" Sophie thought of that little girl.
"Sent home."
"The little girl can't speak, and she can't express anything when she's wronged, so you should talk to her more."
Hurley narrowed eyes, "Are you teaching me how to raise a child?"
"You're usually so busy. Although you provide your child with a good material life, do you really care about the child's psychological well-being? Think about it carefully, and reflect on your own problems!"
Watching Sophie's departing figure, Hurley stood in place.
Had he just been educated?
