The room was unusually quiet, which irritated Hurley. It was the first time he disliked such silence.

"Mom, did the big bad guy tell me you're not coming home tonight?"

Hurley glanced at Sophie, who was still unconscious. Not wanting to worry the child, he said, "Your mom fell asleep."
"But wasn't my mom supposed to attend a banquet? How could she fall asleep?"
"She got tired and fell asleep."
"Then why are you beside my mom?" Damon exclaimed, "Did you sleep with my mom? Did you sleep with my mom?"
