Sophie stepped out of the hospital room, and the people outside heard her voice and quickly stood up.
"Miss Hades, you're awake." Chris was assigned here to watch over Sophie.
Behind Chris stood Carl.
Sophie nodded. She remembered Chris was Hurley's secretary. If Chris was here, could it be that Hurley really sent him to the hospital?
But there was no sign of Hurley around.
Seeing Sophie's gaze darken, Chris said, "Are you looking for Mr. Walton? Mr. Walton went to see Miss Matilda."
"Oh." Sophie's demeanor was very indifferent. Hurley went to see Matilda in the middle of the night, but what did that matter to her? It had nothing to do with her.
