When Hurley emerged from the shower, he found someone peacefully asleep on the bed.
Sophie lay there quietly, but Hurley sensed that she was different from the Sophie who had previously been unconscious.
Hurley stepped out of the room with the intention to speak to Chris, but he saw Carl instead.
Noticing Carl still there, he asked, "Why haven't you left?"
Carl remained silent, having spent the entire night without a chance to speak to Sophie.
"Forget it. You should reflect on your mistake." Hurley said.
Before Carl could respond, Hurley added, "I'm going to bed." And with that, he returned to the ward.
Hurley couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.
But Hurley wants to sleep with Sophie?
As Hurley quietly entered the ward, he glanced at Sophie lying on the bed.
He thought about how if he had been a second late, Sophie might have jumped, and she could have ended up hospitalized for much longer.
Hurley couldn't help but think that Damon must have learned his window-jumping habit from somewhere.
And it seemed that Sophie might be the source. It was too risky!
Once Sophie woke up, Hurley resolved to have a serious conversation with her.
But when he came to his senses and looked at the clock, realizing it was already 3 o'clock in the morning, Hurley also began to feel tired.
The size of the bed is so big that it accommodates the two of them, and he thinks of his role in saving Sophie's life. Surely, sleeping for a while shouldn't hurt too much, right?
Thinking about it, he lay on the other end of the bed.
But then, he considered the wide space between him and Sophie that can almost fit two people, and the possibility of falling. What if he really fell off the bed?
With that, he moved to the middle.
He then worried about not being covered by the quilt.
So he adjusted himself again into the middle of the bed.
Finally, Hurley found a reason to move closer to Sophie. He is also concerned that she might fall in her sleep, so he holds her in his arms.
With his arms wrapped around her, Sophie will definitely not fall!
Sophie, who had been frowning as if troubled by a bad dream, felt a warm embrace and her expression softened, her eyebrows gradually relaxing. Her troubled dreams were quelled by the man who had come to her rescue.
Sophie slept soundly until dawn.
Groggily waking up, Sophie felt confined, as if something was wrapped around her. Her nose also seemed to be covered by something, making it hard for her to breathe.
Opening her eyes, she found herself surrounded by something dark and hard in front of her.
She moved her head a bit and realized that it was a person who was surrounding her.
And her head is nestled against a man's chest.
Hurley's hand rested on her waist at that time, and when Sophie looked up, she saw his handsome face.
She, she, she… she had slept with Hurley again!
Sophie wanted to sit up, but she found out that Hurley's grip on her was firm and tight. Was he afraid she would flee? Well, she had already promised not to.
Sophie originally wanted to wake Hurley up, but then she thought about it and realized that Hurley seemed to have really helped her a lot yesterday, so she wanted to show her kindness and let Hurley sleep more.
Deciding to let him sleep, she admired his sleeping face instead. His brow bones are so pronounced, and even when he is asleep, this man looks incredibly handsome.
