Sophie's words had clearly rattled Daniel. He went home immediately, only to learn that Emily was supposedly getting a beauty treatment.
"Where is she getting this treatment?" Daniel angrily asked the servant.
The servant hesitated, unable to answer.
Emily left, probably not to get a beauty treatment, because a man came to pick her up.
The man was handsome, and the two of them looked very familiar to each other, so the two of them left together.
"Sir, why don't you call madam?" the servant suggested.
Daniel called Emily. He had already called her several times because her phone was ringing but she didn't seem to answer.
Finally, Emily answered the call. "Hello~"
Her voice sounded charming as she called out, "Be gentle!"
"Emily, where are you and what are you doing?" Daniel pressed.
"I'm having a beauty treatment! It hurts my face so much, ah!" Emily insisted, her tone suggesting otherwise.
Although Daniel had his doubts, he ordered her to come home immediately. "Come back right now!"
But as soon as he was done talking to her, Emily hung up the phone.
In the hotel room, the two people are tangled up on the bed from doing the deed together.
After Emily hung up the phone, she screamed even louder.
"Ralph! Slow down! You're too much right now, and Daniel ... ah!"

"You cheated me out of so many shares. Do you think the company is yours? Don't even think about it!" Daniel accused. "And what about Erika's gift money? Spit it out right now or I'll beat you to death!"
Daniel was not gentle at all, and Emily's hair was also beaten into a mess.
She stood up and defied him again. "Don't even think about keeping the company! It can't be yours! I will make you lose everything!"
"You bitch!" Enraged, Daniel grabbed an object and hit Emily over the head, knocking her unconscious.
Daniel then went upstairs, took the deed to the mansion, and contacted Sophie.
Even if the house was mortgaged to Hurley to buy his shares, Daniel would not let Emily take the company away from him.
At the hospital, after hearing that her mother had been knocked unconscious, Erika rushed to the hospital.
When she saw her mother, Erika burst into tears.
She didn't know what to do or why her mother had been beaten.
David comforted Erika, reminding her that she was now pregnant and should not be so upset.
"But how could Dad do this to Mom?" Erika cried.
"How about calling your cousin? Your mother said she might be coming back to the United States soon." David suggested.
The cousin David is referring to is Maya. When she was a child, Emily often brought Maya home to play. She told her how outstanding Maya was and asked her to study hard with her.
Maya was quickly reached and, after being informed of the situation, simply said, "I understand.
She then told Erika, "I have received word from Hurley that he has listed Michael's shares. If your mother wants to buy them, tell her to do it now and don't delay."
"What shares?" Erika asked, unaware of these details as she had recently been staying with the Shaw family.
"Just tell her," Maya instructed.
"Maya, when are you coming back? My mother must miss you a lot."
"I'll be here in a few days," Maya said.
Although she has already returned to the United States, not many people know about it.
Maya had no sympathy for Emily's current predicament, feeling that it was of her own making.
When Emily had left her to marry Daniel and did not recognize her as her daughter, she knew that everything was not to be trusted.
So she took a lot of money from Emily over the years. And even now, she was able to convince Emily to transfer her shares in Michaels into her name.
All she had to say was that when Emily and Daniel got divorced and divided up their assets, Emily would be able to take everything in her name, and Emily believed it.

"Daniel and Emily have both contacted me. They're both interested in the thirty percent share. Who do you want to give it to?" Hurley asked.
Sophie wasn't surprised by the news; everything was going according to plan.
She smiled and replied, "That depends on who offers a better price.
She had bought the shares from Daniel at an exceptionally low price. If he wanted them back now, he'd have to pay at least twice as much.
After all, Sophie had bought the shares when the Michaels's stock price was at its lowest. In a short time, she had managed to stabilize the company and even double the stock price.
While Sophie did not feel a sense of urgency, she was certain that both Daniel and Emily were feeling the pressure.
Sophie eagerly anticipated the rivalry that would ensue - she enjoyed watching such a cutthroat competition!
