"You... You..." The old man stared at Hurley, pointing a trembling finger but struggling to find his voice.
Hurley stepped forward, introducing himself with a respectful nod, "Hello, Grandfather. My name is Hurley Walton. Jameson Wazowski, your old friend, has been taking care of me since I was a child."
"Your face ..." The old man was still shocked, and then looked at Damon next to him.
"Damon, you're behind this, aren't you?"
Damon grinned sheepishly, "Guilty as charged, Grandfather. Do you like my artistic touch?"
The old man's face flushed with a mix of anger and amusement. "You dared to use Hurley as your canvas!"
This is Hurley Walton, the head of the famous Walton family in Tbilisi. He thought it was a member of the Hades family for a moment, which is why Damon could trick them.
Damon usually teases the second and third uncles, but now he is playing tricks on Hurley, and Hurley was not one to take such antics lightly.
And now, on Hurley's face can't be seen anymore, all thanks to Damon. He is all covered with messy colored eyeshadow lipsticks and the like.
"Mr. Walton, please forgive Damon's mischievous nature," Hurley interjected, attempting to ease the tension. "Please don't be angry at him."
Hurley said, "Don't worry. I like Damon, and this is fine with me. If Damon feels the urge to draw them, who am I to stop him?"
"Damon and my son share a close bond. I never expected such an eventful reunion, especially with Damon recovering from an illness in the hospital." The old man mused.
"Mr. Walton, I heard from my family that you personally visited me, but my grandson suddenly fell sick, so we're not at home at that time."
"Grandpa, you can call me Hurley. I'd be honored if you'd consider me as a grandson."
The old man smiled warmly. "Of course, Hurley. I don't mind."
From a person's words and deeds, you can see what a person's character is, and he is particularly satisfied with Hurley.
And from Hurley's words, he has a genuine relationship between him and Sophie, and it is not ordinary. Perhaps a marriage between the two families was not out of the question.
Damon, how are you feeling now?"
"I'm okay," Damon replied, "The doctors couldn't find the cause of my stomach pain. They want to monitor me further."
Stomach pain? Hurley recalled Damon mentioning a severe flu. He also happened to recall that Jake also suddenly said that he was sick. What are these two children doing!
Something wasn't adding up.
But instead of confronting Damon, Hurley decided to let the matter slide for now. This kid is a tricky one.
Damon is hospitalized, so what about Sophie?
"Grandpa, I can't help but notice the absence of Damon's mother. Where is Sophie? Will she be able to jon us for dinner?" Hurley asked about Sophie.
"I don't know where she went," the old man replied.
Hurley's heart trembled slightly, Sophie didn't even went home.Had Sophie avoided returning home out of fear of being discovered?
Where is Sophie hiding now? Hurley is getting very worried.
Thinking of Sophie being heartbroken now, Hurley's heart throbbed. He couldn't bear the thought of her feeling distressed. He couldn't wait to hug her now and tell her that there was no affection between himself and the little fool.
"Mr. Walton, would you join us for dinner this evening?" Mr. Hades extended an invitation.
"Please, just call me Hurley, Grandpa," Hurley replied.
"No!" Damon stopped.
"Why?" Mr. Hades looked at his grandson.
"I want the Big Bad Guy to join us!"
"Big Bad Guy?" The old man raised an eyebrow, taken aback by the unexpected title Damon had for Hurley.
Damon hadn't anticipated bestowing this title on Hurley so quickly.
Casting a pleading glance at Hurley, Damon seemed unsure of how to respond.
"It's alright," Hurley reassured, "He's just a kid. Let him call me that."
He saw no harm in the nickname; it felt like an endearing term, exclusive to Damon.
Initially, Mr. Hades had expected Hurley to be stern, but he now realized Hurley was not only composed but also kind to children, allowing Damon to playfully draw on his face and giving him a special nickname. This left a favorable impression on Mr. Hades regarding his potential grandson-in-law.
"Then, Grandpa, I'll join you for dinner later, and I'll stay here with Damon tonight," Hurley proposed.
"It won't be too much trouble, will it?" Mr. Hades asked.
"No, no, no. No trouble at all," Hurley assured him.
Mr. Hades left satisfied, and Damon quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
Hurley went to wash off the makeup, and as he returned, he found Damon lying on the bed, staring at him intently.
"Feeling better?" Hurley asked, his tone devoid of anger.
Even if Damon painted it like this on his face, Hurley was not angry.
Damon didn't punish Hurley because of Mommy, but he couldn't let his grandfather see Hurley's face.
Damon looked at him with wide eyes, "Big Bad Guy, why did you come to Andorra to find my mommy?"
"Your mommy didn't answer her phone," Hurley replied.
"I know, she didn't answer when I called her," Damon said.
Damon is not worried, Mommy is an adult, and she is measured in her work.
"Big Bad Guy, can you take me out to play?" Damon pleaded with innocent eyes.
Though they hadn't spent much time together, Damon wanted to hang out with Hurley, just like the other children in the hospital who were accompanied by their fathers.
"Aren't you still recovering?" Hurley inquired.
"It's just minor illnesses; they won't stop me. Our city looks beautiful at night, and there's a fun and delicious port nearby. Would you take me?"
"Alright," Hurley agreed.
For some reason, Hurley found it easy to soften around Damon.
Perhaps it was because when he was as old as his own son, he also didn't have a father by his side.
In the evening, Damon landed in Hurley and went to a place he thought was fun.
"I rule this place! You can get whatever you want!" Damon announced proudly, pointing to a pile of children's toys.
Hurley looked at the pile of children's toys, he really didn't have anything he wanted.
But Damon liked it very much, and he followed behind Damon, admiring the charm of this southern city.
The pace of life here is very slow, and everyone seems to love life very much, very lively, and very warm.
Damon also had a good time, although Damon just didn't want to take off the mask.
When they grew tired, Damon, feeling hungry, said, "Big Bad Guy, let's eat."
"Alright," Hurley agreed, holding Damon's hand. Damon knew of a fantastic restaurant and insisted on taking Hurley there.
Hurley is naturally from Damon, they went relatively late, and some people have already finished eating.
As they arrived late, some patrons had already finished dining. As Damon approached the entrance, a mocking voice rang out, "Well, well, if it isn't Damon."
Ignoring the man, Damon took Hurley's hand, attempting to enter the restaurant. However, the man persisted.
"Daddy, Daddy, I want a hug," the child insisted.
His father picked him up, and he raised his chin to look at Damon, "Damon, meet my father. Oh, right. I remember, you don't have a father, right?"
