                    "Amy?"
Of course, Hurley was familiar with this person. She was Night's assistant.
He had been in contact with Amy many times before, in an attempt to get in touch with Night.
Amy was very smooth and not a single word could be coaxed out of her mouth. She was tight-lipped.
"Let her come over!"
Soon Amy was in a hurry, with a dusty and tired look on her face; she must have had a hard time getting here.
Looks like Night's research is on Hurley's behalf this time, she thought.
Didn't Night refuse to accept any assignments regarding Hurley before? But after her return from Tbilisi, not only had Night helped Hurley on several occasions, but now she'd been working diligently on the antidote for such a long time without asking for a single penny.
"Mr. Walton, I've heard a lot about you."
"Did Maya send you?" Had Maya not been answering her phone because she had been doing research on the antidote?
Amy hesitated for a moment before answering. "Who is Maya?"
Hurley looked at the young girl before him. Although he hadn't seen Amy before, Hurley could not help but feel that this was Amy.
But why isn't Amy acquainted with Maya?
"Isn't she Night?"
"Of course not, Night's last name is not Michaels."
Amy was used to it by now; there were too many impostors out there who pretended to be Night, and this Maya was not the first of them.
Besides, Night had been around Hurley so often, and Hurley didn't seem to know who she really belonged to. Apparently, Mr. Walton was not as smart as rumors made him out to be.
"You still have time to have a chat with me here. Aren't the patients in here seriously ill?"
"Mr. Walton, this..." The other doctors had no idea what had been the matter. How was it that right after Night's departure, another of Night's assistants was on the scene?
And this assistant was even on the record as saying that Night who previously showed up at the hospital was not Night. So how could they be sure that this other assistant was indeed Night's assistant?
There was simply no time left for Hurley to think. The woman in the operating room didn't have much time left, so they could only try everything they could.
"This is a serious matter. Miss Amy, come this way, please. The person inside is very important to me, so I'm going to trouble you, Miss Amy!"
Amy nodded and then went to the operating room.
Hurley's heart was still pounding, his face was somber, and a flash of sharpness flashed in his eyes.
Maya is not Night?
But the last time she rescued Stephen, the person the hospital director saw was Maya, and he also said that Maya was Night.
The last time Night saved the people on the cruise, the person who appeared to them was Maya as well.
If Maya is not Night, then who is the real Night?
How could it be such a coincidence that every time he appeared, he still appeared with Maya?
To be more precise, it was not that he was appearing with Maya, it was just that he happened to be there.
The appearance in the hospital and on the yacht... A thought flashed through Hurley's mind.
Sophie!
His pupils suddenly shrank. Whether in the hospital, in the dean's office or on the top floor of the cruise ship, the one that appeared was Sophie.
At the time, he had also wondered if Sophie was Night, but Maya's appearance and the Dean's identification of her made Hurley give up on that idea. After all, the Dean had been the only person who had actually seen Night.
Sophie, could she have been Night?
After all, she is as cunning as a fox. If it really is Sophie, then he and Sophie have been together for such a long time, and he really hasn't found any flaws in her.
There is nothing to be found on Sophie, but that is not necessarily the case when you start with this Amy Adamson.
Hurley's immediate request was for someone to do an investigation on Maya's side. She didn't have that kind of ability, and yet she dared to impersonate Night. Has she had enough of life?
He also gave an order to Chris, "Go and check for Ms. Amy Adamson's background. What skills she has, where did she come from... anything about her!"
If Maya is not Night, then how did Night know that someone here was seriously ill and needed to get treated?
Night always came to the rescue personally, so why didn't Night come personally this time?
So many mysteries surrounded Hurley. His fingers were on the screen of his cell phone in anticipation of a call from Sophie.
His fingers were on the screen, but he did not dare to press the button.
He had broken his appointment for tonight, maybe Sophie would be very angry with him and it was not sure if he would answer his call or not.
Hurley thought about it for a moment and scrolled through the contacts on his cell phone until he found Jake's number.
At a critical moment, his son was still useful.
Jake was still not asleep. He was playing with his mommy.
At the sight of the number on his watch, Jake was on his feet. "Mommy, I'm going to the bathroom!"
Daddy called him so late, he must have something to say.
Sophie didn't think much of it. "Go ahead, but be careful."
Jake went to the side and answered the phone. "Daddy! Daddy, where are you? Do you want to come out and play with us?"
Jake thought Hurley was still in Andorra.
"Daddy has something to do, I went back to Tbilisi. Did Sophie go back? Is she with you?"
"Yes. She took us to a playground by the sea, and there are tents there, too. The stars are so beautiful out tonight, Daddy. We'll have a lot of fun playing, and later we'll have a lot of fun sleeping in the tents!" There was an incredible excitement in Jake's voice.
"You went to the ocean?" Hurley's heart trembled.
"Yes, and they let off some fireworks for us as well, that was especially nice. It's a shame we weren't able to have a look at it with our own eyes, otherwise it would have been great!"
Hurley was under the impression that Sophie would not be there, that she was really busy.
Unexpectedly, Sophie went down to the sea and saw his tent and the fireworks that he had prepared for them.
That little liar.
Hurley had the feeling that when he had left, it was very likely that Sophie had already arrived, not like Sophie had said that she hadn't left yet.
Even though he wasn't there, Sophie saw everything, so it wasn't all in vain.
"Are all three of you children here?"
"Yes!"
Hurley just felt incredibly sorry. They were all there, except for him.
"Is Sophie happy?" Hurley continued to ask.
"She's very happy, Daddy. I wish you were here too. That would be great." There was a hint of disappointment in Jake's words as well.
If Daddy could be with them, that would be a great thing. Their family together.
"Daddy will be back soon. You and your sister have to listen to Aunt Sophie."
"Don't worry, Daddy. Take care of yourself."
"Jake, be quiet and take two more pictures and send them to Daddy later on."
"Okay, Daddy!"
Saying that, Jake quietly walked over and then pointed his camera at Sophie and took a picture of her.
Sophie was looking particularly relaxed and comfortable as she lay on a lawn chair looking up at the stars with her hands under her head.
In the photo, the galaxy in the sky was all her foil. Sophie's face was blurred, beautiful as a painting.
Hurley saved the photo. Next time, he would definitely go stargazing with Sophie!
