At that very moment, Hurley was going crazy because he missed Sophie.
When he thought about what Sophie had done, Hurley's heart felt like it was burning, it was really hard to dislike someone like Sophie.
"Get me on the plane to Andorra. The earlier, the better," Hurley called to Chris.
Chris furrowed his brow at his request, Mr. Walton, you've just arrived in the capital city and now you're going to Andorra? He thought.
"Mr. Walton, but the company..."
"If the company can't run without me, what's the point of having a board of directors? These old people ought to come out and do some work."
"Mr. Walton, you haven't been in the company lately. Vice President Walton and the others are getting restless."
The vice president that Chris is referring to is a distant relative of the Walton family, Benedict Walton, the father of Stella Walton.
Stella has always felt that his parents were unfair and favored his older brother.
His older brother was not interested in running the company and left early to enjoy living abroad, so the company should have gone to him.
But in an unexpected turn of events the company was handed to Richard Walton.
After all the trouble that Richard Walton had gotten himself into, he thought that it should have been his turn, but then there was Hurley, and the company ended up in his hands.
As an elder, it was bad enough to be under the thumb of a younger generation, but how could he accept being under their thumb all the time?
After all, in a conglomerate as large as the Walton Group, who wouldn't want to be its president?
But for the past few years, Hurley had been an impeccable member of the company, and his leadership had been successful. Even if he wanted to find something to complain about, he couldn't, so he was forced to take it.
And lately, Hurley hadn't been coming to the company any more, and Benedict felt that his chance had come again, so he started to make trouble in the company.
The other shareholders of the Walton Group were very easy going; they were just silent partners in the company. Since Hurley was so capable, they might as well let him run it, since they were going to get paid lying down.
If he was in charge of the company himself, it would be a lot of work and he might not make as much money.
And every time Hurley gave them dividends, it was quite substantial, so they all had a lot of trust in him.
It was only Benedict who ran to the president's office these days, and he looked at Hurley's seat with a constant smile on his face, as if he wanted to sit in it soon.
"If Uncle wants to work, I want him to do a good job."
How could Hurley not know what Benedict was thinking? Running the Walton Group was not that easy.
"I also want you to transfer another ten percent of my shares to Night."
"Mr. Walton, are you sure?" Chris asked again, unsure.
Ten percent, how much money was that really? For a normal person, even just one percent of the shares would be enough to live a comfortable life for a lifetime. Hurley was giving away that kind of money without even blinking an eye?
Hurley was the owner of nearly seventy percent of the company's stock, so even if he gave away twenty percent, he would still have half.
Even though Mr. Walton was rich, he shouldn't be that flamboyant with his money!
"Yes." Hurley had no hesitation. Night liked money, so he was going to give her a little more.
"Mr. Walton..." Chris couldn't help but remind him, "When Ms. Hades finds out about this, is she going to be unhappy?" Nobody likes to give away their money, do they?
"Why should she be unhappy about it?"
If she was going to get that kind of money, Sophie would probably be overjoyed.
Chris didn't know about the connection between Sophie and Night. He only knew what Mr. Walton had asked him to investigate, and he didn't know about the relationship between them.
But since Mr. Walton was so generous, the only thing he could do was to follow his instructions.
Amy had just landed in Andorra when she saw the large amount of money and shares that had been transferred to Sophie's accounts and she was in complete shock.
She quickly phoned Sophie, "Night, what's wrong with Mr. Walton? Is he out of his wits?"
Meanwhile, Sophie was walking back with her child when she found out that her Grandfather had called Mr. Morada and Miko to come and see her.
Sophie tilted her head, having no idea what Amy is talking about. "How crazy is he? Do I have to contact a mental hospital?" Sophie stated calmly.
"No, I just saw a large amount of money transferred to our receipt account, and Mr. Walton also gave you ten percent of the shares."
Sophie was so shocked that she had to make sure she heard it right. "How much is it again?"
"Ten percent."
Ten percent?
Has Hurley gone mad?
"Night, are we going to accept this money?"
"Of course, we should. How could we not? This is what I earned."
Sophie accepted it without any guilt. She had stayed up several nights to create the antidote, and had even lost a lot of her hair in the process.
But she had only saved this woman, and Hurley had given her so much money. Did he really have such a high regard for the little fool in his heart?
Then why did he treat her like that in the past, and why wasn't he nice to her when she was in his presence!
What a hypocrite!
So Amy took the money right away and arranged for the shares to be transferred to her.
Now Sophie held seventeen percent of the shares of the Walton Group, which made her the second largest shareholder after Hurley.
"Who are you talking to?" Sophie asked. Suddenly, Grandpa's voice came from behind her, startling her.
"Grandpa! Why are you so quiet when you go for a walk?"
"Is it me who is quiet, or are you too busy talking on the phone? Is it that Walton guy again?"
Sophie went silent.
Her grandpa had been suspicious of her lately, so Sophie had to play the call out loud: "Listen to this, grandpa, is it that Walton guy again?"
"Hello, Grandpa," greeted Amy on the phone.
Grandpa was relieved to hear the girl's voice.
He had been afraid that his little Sophie would be deceived by Hurley again. He'd almost been fooled by Hurley before. The man was skilled at deceiving, and Sophie wasn't going to be able to resist that temptation!
After Sophie had finished talking to Amy, Grandpa pulled her to the side.
"Sophie, Miko is on vacation right now, so he has some time on his hands. Take him out to play."
Sophie didn't like this.
Miko is from Andorra, and she has been everywhere, so she may not even know Andorra well.
"Grandpa, can you stop trying to make it all seem so unrealistic? Besides, I have plans today. I want to take the kids out and play with them."
Ever since Jake and Anabel had come to Andorra, she hadn't even had the time to take the children out properly.
The old man thought for a moment, "That's all right with me."
But his eyes were constantly on the move, a clear sign that he had other ideas in mind.
Sophie took the children out of the house and the old man motioned for Miko to follow her. When they arrived at their destination, it was a pleasant surprise to meet a certain Idol Drama unexpectedly. It must have been fate.
Miko just wanted to find a quiet place to read. But since she couldn't resist her grandfather, she had to follow him.
But before she reached her destination, someone stopped her.
"Sir, our boss wants to see you."
Miko was confused, "Your boss is..."
He was brought in front of the so-called boss and Miko suddenly remembered, "You're the pervert who forcibly kissed Sophie last time!"
