The next morning, Sophie boarded an early flight back to Rustavi. Hurley picked up the kids as well, and planned to head back as well.
"Big bad guy, are you leaving?" Damon asked, holding his face in both of his hands so that only a pair of round eyes could be seen.
"Not just me, we all are."
"Us too? Are Jake and Anabel leaving too?" Damon asked. His eyes widened even further. He hadn't finished the exploration of Andorra with Jake and Anabel, and Gramps must be really unhappy.
"Yes, and you too."
"Me?" Damon didn't understand what Hurley was trying to say. "I don't want to go with you. I want to go with my Mommy."
"Your mommy has already left for the capital city. If you don't believe me, call her and ask. I've arranged a private plane. Do you want to come back with me?"
"Are you telling me the truth?" Did Mom really go back to the capital alone without telling him? Is mom trying to leave him behind in Andorra and go back to the capital on her own? Hmph! Just like the last time, he will follow her in silence.
"Then I want to go back as well!" He wasn't going to let his mommy leave him here, he wanted to play with Jake and Anabel. As far as Grandpa was concerned, he could come back later.
So Damon got on the plane with Hurley, and the whole family headed back to the nation's capital.
When Mr. Hades found out about the children leaving, he almost had a heart attack. That Hurley! He actually took all three of his kids with him!
It was at this point that the three men of the family began to rush back. Preston, the youngest of the three brothers, was the first to do a search of the house, not seeing the shadows of the children.
"Grandpa, didn't you say that Sophie had two more children? Why is it that I have no sight of them?"
"Yes, Grandpa, where is Sophie?" Pierre asked. He was Sophie's second brother.
Standing next to them was the oldest brother, Pietro, who remained silent, but his eyes showed a clear sense of concern and urgency.
All three are busy abroad, often flying around the world. They had just received a call from Grandpa and knew that something big had happened, so the three brothers had immediately rushed back, having endured over ten hours of flying.
"They're gone."
"Where did they go? What about the kids?" Preston's temperament is much more impatient and much less calm than that of his two brothers.
Of all of them, Pietro is the most stable.
"So Sophie really gave birth to three kids? That's amazing!" Preston's eyes widened.
"What are you talking about, don't talk such nonsense about your sister!" Grandpa exploded, smacking Preston's head in the process.
"I didn't say anything wrong, I was praising Sophie," Preston said, holding his head. "So where are the children? I want to see my other two nephews as well? Why can't I see them? Are they playing outside?"
He had just looked around and didn't see their shadows.
"They were taken away by Hurley."
"Hurley? So Grandpa, the person who did Sophie's wounds five years ago was Hurley Walton? And now he wants to go after our Sophie?"
The grandfather nodded, "That should be so. Now he's even taken Damon, it's not right. I have to go to the capital to get back my grandchildren!"
"Grandpa, I'm coming with you!" Preston said, his tone filled with righteous indignation.
It was then that the eldest brother said, "Grandpa, you and Preston are being impulsive. "Sophie is not a child any more, she has her own thoughts and her own judgments. She didn't tell us about this before, she's got to be thinking about it on her own."
Pierre also spoke, "I think what my brother had said here is right. We all want what's best for Sophie. She has to know about this, so let's let Sophie deal with it on her own."
Even though Preston agreed with that, his temperament is the most impatient, "What, you don't want to see what the other two little children look like?"
Of course they want to see them, they haven't seen them yet.
"If you don't want to go, I'm not going to force you, but I'm definitely going to go to the capital to see them. I'm going to book a ticket because I can't stand it right now. Who wants to go with me?"
"Book a ticket for me too, I want to see my cute little nephews and niece." Pierre said.
Although he was of the opinion that Sophie was capable of taking care of her own affairs, a visit to his own little nephew should not be a problem, right?
The two brothers had a look at the eldest brother, Pietro cleared his throat, "Then I'll have a look too."
"That's settled, I'll book the ticket!"
"Me too, me too!" Preston pulled his grandfather as he spoke. "Grandpa, don't go and make trouble, okay?"
The grandfather glared at him, "How can I make trouble, I'm going to teach that little boy from the Walton family a lesson."
"Let the three of us brothers take care of it, if he really did hurt Sophie, we definitely won't let him go. Grandpa, you can just wait at home for our good news!" Preston patted Grandpa on the shoulder.
"You stupid kids!"
Sophie is still unaware of the fact that her three brothers are about to arrive. When she gets off the airplane, she goes straight to the psychiatric clinic. The psychiatric hospital has a heavy mood, and the moment you step inside, the mood becomes even more oppressive.
There are still some people who refuse to take their injections or eat their medicine, and they are walking around in a circle with the nurses. Some of the people are playing like children, while others are screaming and shouting wildly. In this kind of environment, even a normal human being could be driven to madness.
Matilda is in her own room, and it is here that she finally has a taste of life's despair.
Hurley has people watching her, and the doctors and nurses have their own people, so everything she's doing happens under their watchful eyes.
This place is really scary, with all the crazy people out there, and her being the only sane, normal person in here.
When she first arrived, Matilda had thoughts of escape or confrontation with these people.
But she would have been labeled as mentally ill and would have been under restraint and sedation by the doctors and nurses.
Those days were a dark time for Matilda.
She even thought of using a stand-in, finding someone to take her place, but every day the doctors and nurses would confirm who she was by looking at her face. If they don't see her, they report it to Hurley right away.
There is no one else in the world exactly like her.
However, Matilda has recently come up with another idea and is waiting for the opportunity to put it into action.
As a matter of fact, there is no other face like hers in this world, but what would happen if this face were to be destroyed? Who would know if she was Matilda or someone else? She is as good as dead here, but Matilda has no intention of dying. She has been a schemer for so many years, and she has not yet had what she should have had. She is not ready to accept it!
The nurse's knock on her door was while Matilda was in the midst of putting her makeup on.
A blush brush was sweeping across her cheek, and her face was not as full as it had been before. The person in the mirror had lost a lot of weight, and it made her look a little bit scary.
There were times when Matilda did not dare to recognize the person in the mirror as herself.
When the nurse saw her, she said, "Matilda, there is someone who has come to see you.
Matilda's face immediately lit up with joy. Who could it be who had come to see her?
Could it be Hurley?
Even though Hurley is so ruthless that he has sent her to this place, she is not able to forget this man in her heart.
She ran to the door with excitement, even forgetting to put on her shoes.
"Hurley, you came to see me..."
Before she could finish her words, she saw the person on the other side of the door and Matilda's smile froze on her face.
