Zara's pov
Ava and Matteo are now sitting on the couch while I'm cuddled close to Enzo
Yesterday I woke up to a couple of hoodies on my bed and immediately smiled knowing Enzo put them there
He's such a sweetheart
"Omg MOVE OVER Peppa," Ava says
"WHAT did I tell you about calling me that pinky pie!!" Matt says
"Sit on the floor" Ava rolls her eyes
"Yeah no thanks I'm good," Matt says
"You know if you cuddled close to me like Zara and Enzo are then we wouldn't be having this argument," Matt says amused
"AS IF I WOULD ON PURPOSE TOUCH YOU," Ava says getting up from the couch
"I'm going to get some snacks be right back," Ava says while rolling her eyes
The whole time they have Been here has been me mostly catching up with Ava on things that have happened between Enzo and me, and Ava avoiding talking about Matt, I think she likes him and she's scared to get hurt so she acts as she hates him, but I wouldn't blame her she got cheated on used and lied to
"I'll be right back" I whisper in Enzo's ear and lightly peck his cheek
He nods kissing my forehead
That's our thing now he kissed my forehead all the time and I kiss his cheek, it's cute
Though I would want to kiss him on the lips...I just don't know if he would want that
I head over to the kitchen to see Ava digging through the candy box
"Hey aves," I say
"Hey zee bee," she says
"Sooo....you okay?" I say
"Yep...totally ok," she says
I hum "you know you can trust me right Ava? It's ok to like Matt he's a good guy" I tell her
She takes a deep breath and slowly turns around and I notice she has tears in her eyes
I go in to quickly hug her
"Hey, It's ok Ava, did he do something? Say something? Because you know I won't hesitate to stab him in the eye with a fork" I tell her
She laughs a little "yes he did do something" she sighs
"WAIT...what did he do?" I say hesitate
She takes another deal breath "he snuck into my heart zee, he's perfect, he's sweet, he puts up with my attitude, he's funny" she whispers tears flowing down her face
"And isn't that what you would want in a guy? What's wrong with it" I say knowing full well it's probably cus she's scared to get hurt
"I'm scared zee" she sighs "what if he hurts me, I don't want my heart to break again...and I feel like he can completely shatter it for me" she whispers
"Awww Ava" I hug her tightly "I understand it must be terrifying to swim in the whole relationship thing again but think of it this way, you're never gonna learn how to swim if you just look at the water...right? You have to jump in...huh guess that's why they call it to falling in love" I say
"Ya I know but what if I drown Zara" she cries's
"Then I'll be here to save you from the water, and if needed I'll learn how to do CPR" I laugh lightly
And she laughs at that
"You're an amazing friend, thank you" she hugs me tightly
"So what do I do?" She asks
"I think you should maybe show at least a little interest in him," I say
"And how do I do that?" She says
"Maybe start with something little like sitting close to him on the couch..." I smirk
"Ugh your annoying" she nudges my shoulder
"What I know you would love to be close to him" I laugh
"I guess your right but I'm just nervous about the thought of being in a relationship again," she says
"Let me ask you this, out of all the guys you have talked to, had one night stands with and whatever, which guy pops up in your mind when you think of being in a relationship with," I ask
I can tell by the blush on her face she knows who
"Matty" she whispers
"AWWW you even have a nickname for him" I jump up and down around the kitchen giggling
"Oh be quiet!! I'm sure you have nicknames for your husband" she rolls her eyes
"I don't have a husband!" I say laughing
"He may as well be, your living in his house, all close and cute together, wearing his clothes, taking care of his child, you're pretty much married except y'all having had sex or even made out" she laughs
"Oh be quiet" I laugh
But I guess she has a point
"Come on let's not keep the boys Waiting, OH and bring the whole candy box," I say laughing
Enzo's pov
Zara just left I believe to go to Ava, she kissed me on the cheek and even that small gesture sends me on cloud nine
Im falling so fast and hard for that girl
"So what's going on with you and Ava" I smirk at my best friend
"Nothing," he says paying attention to the super interesting pillow on the couch...
"Sure...now spit it out, and the truth this time," I say
"I don't know man, I just can't tell if she likes me or not, we've been 'hanging out for months now and I don't even know what we're doing, it's like we just hang out to bicker and compete with each other" he smiles a tiny bit thinking about her
"Your falling for her..." I say
"Shut up" he hits me in the shoulder
"Maybe she's just scared or something...?"
"I guess, Zara did tell me she's tough to crack and whatnot..." he says shaking his head
"Just don't give up, if you like this girl then it will be worth it in the end," I say
"Yeah I guess...anyway enough about me what's up with you and Zara, have y'all banged yet or something," he says
I hit him in the shoulder "dude what the hell, we have not 'banged' " I roll my eyes
"Aaaah...but you want to" he smirks
" shut the hell up Matt, plus we haven't even properly kissed on the lips yet..." I say shaking my head at his comment
"Well like you just told me don't give up if you like her it will be worth it," he says with an eye roll
"Damn right she's worth it, she's the one and only woman that I can see a future with, and I'll never give up until I fully have her and call her mine," I say
"La Mia Regina" I mumble (my queen)
"AWWW that's cute as shit you calling her queen" he coo's
"Shut the hell up," I say laughing
I see Zara and Ava coming in with...of course with a tub of candy
I shake my head and chuckle
Zara climb on my lap and put the bin next to where she was originally sitting "don't laugh" she says laughing herself
I put my hands around her waist pulling her closer to me
And I feel her leaning into me to get closer
The rest of the night consisted of a little less bickering from Ava and Matt which is surprising, laughing, talking, and just catching up
"Omg, We should go to the winter fair !" Zara says excitedly
"We can all go together, and take Mia with us of course," Zara says
She's so cute, she acts like Mia's mother and it's the cutest thing ever
I mean shit at this point I wanna call her mias mother
"I'm down," Matt says
"Yeah sounds fun," Ava says
Zara turns her head and bats her eyelashes at me with a cute little smile
Like she needs to do that cute shit to get me to say yes, I'll go anywhere she wants
"You don't need to be cute and shit for me to say yes" I laugh "of course I'll go"
"Yay!!" She says and kisses my cheek
"WHIPPPPEDDD" Ava says
"EXTRA WHIPPED CREAM ANYONE," Matt says laughing
"Oh be quiet !!" I say
And Zara just giggles cuddling closer to me
"Cool so we will go there next week" Zara says
"Can't wait" Ava and Matt say at the same time
They look at each other, Ava blushes and looks away while Matt chuckles
And I hear Zara say a quiet ' awww ' to which I hug her tightly to as a response
