Zara's pov
We're now on the plane heading back home, I had the best time at Hawaii We went to a bunch of different beaches, touristy spots, some shopping centers for nicknacks and I also got some books! And we also went to some cool places and parks for Mia
Overall it was the best time I've had in a while
And I'm so happy I was with Mia and Enzo along with my best friend and we can't forget Matt...
"Did you have a good time?" Enzo whispers in my ear
"The best, thank you Enzo," I say kissing his check and resting my head on his shoulder
"Good I'm happy you did, get some rest sweetheart," he says kissing my temple
I grab his hand and put it on my lap to play with his rings
He kissed the top of my head and then gets to work on his computer
He sometimes had to do work when we were in Hawaii but he made sure to do it late at night or really early in the morning for when he had emergency work stuff to do
"Shouldn't you go to sleep Enzo? " I ask because he looks exhausted
"I'll be fine sweetheart," he says
I grab his laptop closing it before gently putting it back in his bag
"Enzo take a break and sleep you look exhausted" I sigh
He smiles a little "your cute when you're worried about me" he laughs
"It's not funny I'm serious," I say trying not to smile while looking at him grinning
"Fine but first ...." He says as he grabs my hands and puts me on his lap so I'm straddling him
"There now I can sleep comfortably" he smirks
I laugh "isn't this more comfortable for me than you?" I Raise an eyebrow
"I like you close to me, it makes me happy, so stop asking stupid questions and let's sleep," he says
I laugh before nuzzling my face in the crook of his neck and sighing in content
He wraps his arms around my waist to hold me close and I soon drift off into sleep
We're now back home, Ava and Matt have been dropped off at their places and now I'm unpacking everything in my closet
I soon realize after unpacking that the ball that Sophia invited me along to is very soon...and I have no shitting clue how to dance
Crap
I make my way to Enzo who is in the kitchen
It's pretty late at night right now but our jet lag isn't letting us sleep
"Hey" Enzo smiles
"Hi" I smile
"Hey, quick question" I ask
"What's up?" He asks
"Do you have any clue how to dance..." I laugh
"I just realized the ball in Italy is super soon and I have no clue how to dance" I sigh
He laughs
"Come here," he says gesturing me to him
Well shit this is happening like now
He turns on a random song and it plays 'at last by Etta James'
"This song sounds like an okay pace to dance to," he says nodding
"Ok give me your hand," he says
I smile internally at the fact the man i love is teaching me how to dance
my life's a damn movie
He tells me where to put my hands and feet placement
"Good, now we start swaying slowly, " he says
We start slowly swaying to the song and I can't help but smile at the lyrics

And my heart bursts because it's how I feel about Enzo
He came into my life and it completely took me off guard with how much I would fall for him
What I realized is that the greatest things in life are unexpected, and when your not looking
I never would I have thought a cute little girl stealing some chocolate cake at my bakery one day would lead me here today
"Okay now you move your feet like this" he shows just how to sway and move my feet
We dance to the music and I do as he says with the dance, and at one point he twists me around and then pulls me close again
And I feel so content in this moment
I can dance with this man all day and night
I lay my head on his chest as we dance slowly to the song
"A little later I can show you a more complex dance if you want" he whispers in my hair
All I do is nod because I'm so in the moment I don't want to do anything but dance right here and now with him
I take a deep breath and realize screw it and decide I want to tell him my feelings right here and now with us slow dancing in the kitchen
"You know this song is kind of perfect with the way I feel for you" I laugh lightly
"I never met someone so caring, and just full of love like you, you make me feel so special and loved without even having to say anything, you do random things like give me your hoodies and rings and let me cuddle with you as much as I want because you know those things make me feel safe, but i want you to know it's you that makes me feel safe
I like wearing the rings because they were yours and they remind me of you and if I get anxiety I can close my eyes and pretend like I'm playing with the rings on your hands, and then your hoodies smell like you and it makes me feel like your right next to me and they help me go to sleep and make me worry less
And you say the sweetest things to make me feel loved like when calming me down with a panic attack even when you don't know why and making me feel beautiful with my scars, and having your whole house redone because I said when everything's dark it makes me uncomfortable...I mean shit it's kind of impossible to not fall in love with you..." I whisper to him with my tears flowing
The song gets changed to other slow songs while I talk and we sway
But when I say the words fall in love he stops swaying
I look him in the eye and see a coat of tears On his eyes
He cups my cheeks with his hands and starts talking
"Do you have any idea how important you are to me? I would burn this house down if you wanted me to, and I do all those things because I want you to feel safe, comfortable, and happy...it's so important to me to see that beautiful smile on your face and to hear that laugh
And I know in our own time we will both say the things we want to say and I won't ever force anything out of you if you are not comfortable, your the first woman that's come into my life and completely turned it upside down in the best way possible, never would I have thought I would be doing half the stuff I do but I do and will because I love you...and I have for a while and you mean the world to me Zara and your happiness is so important to me" he whispers
HOLY SHIT HE JUST SAID IT
He wipes the tears off my cheeks
"You didn't even let me finish" I laugh lightly through a endless stream of tears
"I was gonna say it first" I huff through my tears
He gets close to my ear "to bad" he whispers
I sigh and then hug him close to me
And I then whisper in his ear "I love you Enzo... so so much"
He hugs me back tightly "you have no idea how happy those words made me"
I see a single tear roll down his cheek and wipe it
"I love you so damn much Zara"
He caresses my cheek with his fingertips and slowly starts moving his face closer
My breath starts going crazy as I back into the pantry door
It feels as if everything is happening in slow motion
He comes up to my ear "Can I kiss you?" He asks
I nod my head
He gently grabs my chin so I look him in the eyes
"Words love I need you to say it"
And here I melt on the kitchen floor
"Yes you can freaking kiss me," I say already wanting to have his lips on mine
Well shoot I've wanted them forever ago
And then it happens, he slowly cups my jaw with his hand, his other is on my waist
And It finally happens our lips connect, It's a slow and sweet kiss, not rushed whatsoever
Were both taking our time as our tongues slowly melt together, I feel tingles all over my body, butterflies fill my stomach and my brain is getting fuzzy...
and all from a kiss from this man
I wrap my arms around his neck, he slowly disconnects our lips and in a raspy voice whispers "jump"
I do ask he says and now my legs are wrapped around his waist and arms around his neck
"Freaking finally" I whisper against his lips
He chuckles "you got that right, but now there's no one to interrupt us" he smirks
And he Connects our lips once again as he places me on the counter
Finally, all the waiting and the stupid sexual tension between us over the last couple of months is worth it
His lips are warm and inviting, i have imagined those lips on mine for so long that it finally happening feels surreal
He takes his time exploring every inch of my mouth as we kiss
I don't want to disconnect the kiss because i never want it to end, we stay kissing for who knows how long
I think we both don't want this moment to end after waiting for so long, were savoring it as long as possible before disconnecting our lips
But at some point a girl needs to breath, so i slowly part away to breath
He turns off the music and the lights off in the kitchen
"Can I take you to my room?" He asks
I nod before realizing he wants an actual response "yes you can do anything you want" I say
"Anything?" He raises an eyebrow
"Yes," I say breathily
"Well sweetheart your gonna regret saying that" he chuckles
We get to his room and he places me on his bed
"Wait, what about Mia?" I question
"Is asleep..." he says kissing my neck
"But..." I say
"But nothing shes far away, and after tonight your gonna not only know how much I love you but feel it too"
