( 5 years later)
"BELLA, VINCENT, MIA GET YOUR BUTTS DOWN HERE PLEASE" I yell for my children
I was lucky enough to get pregnant with twins with the help of pills the doctor gave
And that resulted in my twins Bella, and Vincent there almost 4 years old and I absolutely love them to death
Little Mia isn't so little anymore she's 11 now
So crazy how time flies by when your life is actually great
That kid still absolutely loves her chocolate and especially chocolate cake...at least that hasn't changed
Enzo was able to fully get out of the mafia because he didn't want his family to be around that kind of danger
We frequently visit Sophia and Antonio in Italy and they come to New York a lot as well
Maria the cook retired and went to live in Italy with her family and she sometimes visits as well
Ava and Matt have been married for 3 years, They're so cute together and they also have 2 children a little boy named Dante and a girl named Andrea.
We ended up getting houses next to each other so we're able to see each other all the time
I knew from the moment I saw Ava and Matt interact they would get married and of course I flaunt that fact in there faces all the time.
I have a pretty big surprise for Enzo and the kids that I've been DYING to share for a bit but wanted to be sure
"What's up mom?" Mia says entering the kitchen
"Yes, mommy?" Bella says
"What?" Vincent says bluntly...the kid cracks me up
I laugh "I need to tell you guys something pretty exciting..." I grin
"And I need to tell you before dad gets home from work," I say looking at the time he should be here in like 10 minutes
"Okay, so you know how I said that it's really hard for me to get pregnant naturally? So mommy had to take pills to have you two?" I say looking at the twins
"Yeah?" Mia says
The twin's nod
"Well..." I say pulling out the ultrasound picture
"NO WAY! Are you serious!!!" Mia says excitedly
"What's that mommy?" Vincent says
"It means that mommy has a baby in her tummy" I smile at the twins
"REALLY!" Bella says
I nod
They all give me a big hug
"But you guys can't tell daddy yet okay? I need to tell him first" I laugh
And they nod
"I'm so happy! Do you know how far along you are?" Mia asks hugging me
I nod " I'm about a month, I didn't tell anyone just because I didn't want something to happen and it being a disappointment for you guys," I say
"You can never disappoint us...except when you refuse to make us chocolate cake" Mia grins and I laugh
"Okay you chocolate obsessed girl go take your siblings upstairs so I can tell your dad" I smile and she nods going up the stairs
I continue making dinner until I feel warm hands wrap around my waist pulling me to a chest
I smile
"Hello la Mia Regina" he whispers in my ear while kissing me there (my queen)
Over the years he's never stopped with the nicknames and I love it
"hello Il Mio re" I laugh ( my king)
I turn around to wrap my arms around him and give him a kiss
"I missed you, how was work today?" I ask him pecking his lips
"I missed you to, and it was alright I am still in the middle of working on a big project and it's stressing me out but other then that everything is fine, how was your day?" He asks lifting me up so my legs wrap around his waist and my arms around his neck
"Well the twins got the whole play room messy so that wasn't fun to clean up and I found out that some kids from Mia's class were bullying her which wasn't fun to find out and have to talk to her about" I sigh
"What are there names?" He says with anger lacing his words
I chuckle "don't worry I got those little rats expelled and they are moving to different schools so they won't bother Mia again" I say
"Good" He says taking a deep breath
I begin massage his shoulders slowly "it's okay she's fine and I made sure of that, you don't need to worry about it" I say
"I know, I just don't like the fact kids were talking Mia down" he sighs
"I get that" I nod "but she takes after you so you don't have to worry, she even told me she was 10 seconds away from 'hitting them where the sun don't shine' as she put it" I laugh
"That's my girl" he mumbles against my lips
His kisses still manage to take my breath away even 5 years later, he's never stopped making me feel loved and special, and we still dance in the rain and star gaze from time to time and sometimes the kids join us
He's the best father and partner and I'm so incredibly lucky to have him in my life, he always supports me in anything I do and makes sure I don't ever feel anything less then perfect
He supported me through my cooking Chanel I started while being pregnant with the twins and through my cook book release
I gained millions of fans and supporters and it's been nice to have some sort of job, because of the fact I have 3 kids it's hard to run a bakery full time so having a Chanel and website has been nice
"I have something to tell you" I whisper while grinning
"Okay? What is it " he smiles
"Can you close your eyes?" I ask
"Why...pls don't tell me your going to throw cake in my face like last time...." He says groaning
"Hey that was hilarious and you know it, the twins absolutely loved that"
I laugh "and no this is an exciting surprise that has no you getting hit with food in it" I grin
He closed his eyes and I quietly take the ultrasound picture out of my pocket
"Put your hands out please," I ask
"Okay?" He says with confusion lacing his words
I put the picture in his hands "okay now open" I say
He opens his eyes and just stares at the picture for a good 10 seconds in shock
"Wait...are you?" He looks at me shocked
I nod "I'm pregnant" I whisper
"But you didn't even take any of the pills..." he says still shocked
I nod again "the doctor said it was a miracle baby" I grin
He puts the picture down and engulfs me in a hug
"We're gonna have another baby" he whispers
"Yeah" I whisper back hugging him tightly tears flowing down my face
"How many weeks?" he asks
"I'm a little over 4 weeks" I grin wiping a couple tears away from his cheeks
"You don't know how happy I am right now," he says pulling me as close as possible
I laugh "I think I have an idea"
"So that's why you felt sick these last couple of weeks?" He asks
"Yeah...I genuinely thought it was the flu or something" I say laughing
"Well thank God it's not that" He says
"KIDSSSSSS COME SAY HI TO YOUR DAD" I yell
They all come running down the stairs And give big hugs to Enzo and I can't help but smile looking at the view
I'll never get tired seeing the way Enzo is around our kids, it's the most cutest thing ever
"MOMMY HAS A BABY IN TUMMY!" Bella says
I laugh, thank goodness Mia kept them upstairs, or else the surprise would've been ruined
"Yeah she does isn't that exciting!?" Enzo says
They nod excitedly
Enzo glanced at me with a smile that melts my heart

It's a bit later and Ava, Matt, and her kids are over
All the kids are playing while we're sitting around talking

"Congratulations you guys," Matt says grinning hugging us both
Who wants wine?" I ask
Enzo and Matt said they will take a glass
"I can't" Ava says grinning
I don't process what she said until I go back to the living room with the wine for Matt and Enzo
"WAIT ARE YOU PREGNANT!!" I ask freaking out
"Yeah, I found out a week ago" She says crying with a big smile on her face
"WAIT HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU!!" I ask freaking out

"NO WAY, So am I!!" I say clapping my hands together jumping around from excitement

"We're having babies at the same time, This is some next level best friend shit right here" Ava says laughing

"Wow looks like me and you are making lots of random stops for food and random shit," Matt says to Enzo laughing
He laughs "I'll go to Italy for damn food if Zara wanted me to" and says
And I melt, the man is absolutely perfect
"Awwww Zara can we switch husbands?" Ava pouts
"Hell no, I'll keep mine sorry not sorry " I laugh

"Just kidding matty you know I love you," Ava says kissing him while laughing
"OKAY, Who wants a slice of cake to celebrate the exciting news!" I say
"ME," they all say in unison

"Coming right up," I say
Something I have learned over the years is that life is anything but a piece of cake but...sometimes if you have someone by your side to cheer you on and be there for you through thick and thin, life isn't so bad
I never would've thought a little girl coming into my bakery one day and practically stealing a piece of cake would lead me here
And I'm oh so thankful for that day
"I love you Zara Moretti" Enzo whispers in my ear
"And I love you Enzo Moretti" I grin kissing his cheek
I take out glasses of water for me and Ava and wine for the boys and we toast
"To chocolate cake" I grin

"TO CHOCOLATE CAKE!" They all say clinking glasses
