"Come in," I responded while setting down the microphone.
Just then, a male attendant entered with a trolley and inquired with polite courtesy, "Excuse me, which one of you is Miss Novak?"
I struggled to suppress a grin, knowing the real show was about to begin.
Raelynn stared blankly at the oversized pink gift box on the trolley, completely bewildered. "I am. What's this about?"
"Miss Novak, here's the premium package you ordered," the attendant said while positioning the trolley in the center of the room before quietly exiting.
Raelynn glanced between the gift box and me, clearly puzzled. "Nat, did you order this?"
"Not me!" I shook my head, urging her, "Just open it and see what's inside."
Still skeptical, Raelynn walked over and carefully lifted the lid of the gift box with both hands.
The next second, Jess's head popped up from inside the box.
Jess was dressed in a sharp tuxedo and holding a bouquet of vibrant red roses. He suddenly sprang up from inside the gift box.
"Gosh!" Raelynn started in surprise. When she realized that Jess was standing in front of her, her face lit up with shocked delight. "What on earth are you up to?"
I immediately pulled out my phone, eager to capture this pivotal moment.
"Raelynn, my love, will you marry me?" Jess went down on one knee, presenting a bouquet of roses to Raelynn, his hands trembling as he looked up at her.
At his words, Raelynn's eyes instantly welled up with tears.

"Say yes. Raelynn, just say yes!" I urged anxiously from the sidelines, barely able to contain myself.
After a brief moment, Raelynn wiped the tears from her eyes, cradled the roses in her arms, and, with a radiant smile, nodded. "Yes!"
At this, Jess sprang to his feet and swept Raelynn into a tight embrace.

Just as I was puzzling over Quinn's absence, Jess and Raelynn had finished their kiss. Raelynn's face flushed crimson with embarrassment as she excused herself to the restroom to freshen up her makeup.
"Nat, what's going on with Quinn? I haven't been able to reach him all afternoon," Jess asked, his voice tight with worry.
My eyes flew wide in shock. "What?" I immediately dialed Quinn's number.
The phone rang endlessly, but no one picked up. Eventually, the call disconnected on its own.
"Nat, Quinn was supposed to be the one bringing in the gift box," Jess explained.
With Quinn out of contact, Jess had no choice but to hastily recruit a staff attendant to help out.
Jess was clearly a bit annoyed, but his worry about Quinn's disappearance was even greater. "Could something urgent have come up at Madden Group? Maybe you should call his office and check?"
"Okay." Distracted with worry, I reached for my phone to call Finn Maynard.
The phone suddenly rang. Finn's name showed up on my screen.

"Finn? Is Quinn with you?" I demanded the moment the call connected.
"Natalia! Mr. Madden's been in a car accident. He's in emergency surgery right now!" Finn's voice was frantic. "The hospital needs his family to sign the consent forms. You need to get here immediately!"
A sharp ringing filled my ears as the news hit me like a freight train.
I thought, 'Quinn was perfectly fine when he left. How could he suddenly be in a car accident?'
