"Thank you, Rose. However, I have yet to formally sever ties with the Hinton family," I said awkwardly.
If I registered myself as Benedict's legal guardian now, then the Hinton family would find out about his existence.
I had to first formally sever my ties with the Hinton family so that they couldn't spy on my activities.
I left the care home and drove straight to the Hinton family residence.

I glanced at her coldly and explained to Elijah, "Quinn and I are divorced. You think of me as an embarrassment. So, I want to formally cut ties with all of you. You can tell other people that you have disowned me."
"Natalia, what are you saying? You will always be our daughter." Elijah sighed. He then asked me, "Where have you been living recently? Why don't you move back home? It is dangerous for a girl to live alone outside—"
Before Elijah could finish speaking, Jenna interrupted him and mocked, "Tsk. She's very capable. She doesn't need an old man like you to worry about her." Jenna came down the stairs. She looked at me coldly and said, "I heard that you and York got together and that you often go shopping with Mrs. Smith. Natalia, I've really underestimated you. Speaking of which, I recall introducing you to Mrs. Smith."
"Please don't compare me to someone like you." I frowned. I didn't want to argue with Jenna. I restated my purpose of coming here. "I'm only here to get the legal documents needed so that I can formally sever ties with you. After that, I have nothing to do with the Hinton family."
"Jenna, please stop bickering with Natalia. She rarely comes home." Elijah tried to ease the tension, but he immediately shut up when Jenna glared at him.
Jenna looked at me greedily and sneered. "You want the documents? No problem. Give us another 1.5 million dollars, and we'll agree to your request immediately."
I couldn't believe what she had said. I protested, "I just gave you 3 million dollars!"
Jenna put her hands on her hips and looked arrogant. She wrapped her arm around Skylar and said to me viciously, "If we hadn't adopted you back then, would you have been able to squeeze your way into the upper-class? I am not asking for much. Since you are still young, you can sleep around with a few more rich people. The money you can earn will last you for the rest of your life."
My ears were ringing. From this moment on, I no longer wished to address them as my parents.

Elijah told Skylar to call for an ambulance. He urged Lucia to get the medicine for Jenna's heart condition.
Jenna was so enraged that she had a heart attack.
Looking at her lying unconscious on the ground, I panicked.
When the ambulance arrived, I followed them to the hospital.
