Raven's world crumbled around her. Tears threatened to spill as she looked at the man she had trusted, the man she had fallen for. "So you've admitted that you slept with her? You cheated on me because you thought I did the same thing to you?" She asked, her voice trembling slightly. "You're a hypocrite, Mason. You said you couldn't look at me; you kicked me out for cheating when you had just done the same thing. You couldn't wait to run back into her arms, so you used my mess as an opportunity, right?"
"Raven, I'm sorry. I was drunk and things went out of control." Mason reached for her, but Raven stepped back, shaking her head. "I don't remember much from that night, that's why I didn’t say anything."
"You used me to get over her, but you weren't truly over her, were you? You both deserve each other," she spat, turning on her heel to leave.
Mason grabbed her arm, desperation in his eyes. "Raven, please believe me. I never wanted any of this."
"Then send her away, tell her to never show herself in front of us anymore since you don't want this."
Mason let go of her hand. "She is carrying my child, Raven. I can't just send her away."
"I can't believe I fell for your lies. Well, enjoy your life with your new family." She whispered. As she turned to leave, her eyes locked on Justin and Blair, both standing nearby with smug expressions. Without a second thought, she grabbed a glass of water and tipped it over Justin’s head.
The room was filled with gasps as the vase shattered against Justin’s head. He gasped in shock, glaring at her. Raven stepped closer to him and whispered coldly, "That's for trying to ruin my reputation."
She turned to Mason. "You're lucky I love you, or that would've been you."
Before anyone could react, Raven stormed out of the house with her head held high despite the tears threatening to spill.
Julie approached Mason, her expression filled with disappointment. "You are unbelievable," she muttered before going after Raven.
Charles, who had been watching everything in silence, shook his head in despair. "Fix this mess, Mason. And get that lady out of my house." Without another word, he turned and headed up to his study.
Blair rushed to help Justin wipe his face, but he pushed her hand aside before storming out.
Hours passed, and Raven was still nowhere to be found. Mason had driven to her apartment, hoping she had gone there, but when he arrived, the place was empty. He sat on her doorstep, waiting for her to return but she didn't.
After waiting for a few more hours, we went back home.
Back at the house, Mason sat with Charles and Damon in the study. Charles was worried as he paced around the room, while Damon tried to call Julie. Both women had their phones turned off, leaving the men frustrated.
A few hours later, Charles finally retired to bed, exhausted from the day's drama. Just as he was about to fall asleep, his phone rang. He glanced at the screen, his mind calm when he saw Raven’s name.
"Raven?" He answered, his voice filled with concern. "Where did you both run off to?"
"I'm sorry for running it like that; I didn't mean to get you worried. That's why I called to let you know that Julie and I are fine." She said, her voice calm but you could tell she'd been crying.
"Dad, we're at one of my friend’s houses. Don't worry too much and go to bed." Julie added.
"Where are you? I’ll come get you---"
"There's no need for that, Sir; I'll come to see you tomorrow," Raven replied.
"I'll send you an address, meet me there tomorrow. There's a place I want you to see." Charles said.
"Can I ask where you're taking me?" Raven asked.
"It's a surprise. I should have taken you there sooner. With everything you've been through lately, I think this place will help you relax and forget about everything else for a few hours."
"Thank you so much. I'll be there tomorrow."
"Don't thank me, I've failed to do my duties as a father."
"Don't say that none of this is your fault," Raven said, trying to convince Charles that he did nothing wrong.
"I'll see you tomorrow, my dear. Have a good night's rest."
"You too, Dad.”
