DAYVON sat in his car waiting patiently for Semani. They were about to go to the movies, and the mall.
He never really cared for being out a lot but for her he would step out of his comfort zone.
A huge smile went across his face , as he seen her walking down her porch steps. Stepping out of the car, he made his way to the passenger side ; to open the door for her.
"Hey handsome!" She exclaimed jumping into Dayvons arms as he caught her.
"Wassup beautiful." He squeezed her tightly, then he placed her down to her feet.
She stepped into the car, once she was in, he closed the passenger door.
Once he was in the car, he started it up before pulling off.
"How was yo day ma?" Dayvon asked glancing over at Semani, as he drove down the highway.
"It was good, I'm happy to see you though.." She trailed off before speaking up again. " How was yours?"
"Shit was straight." He said licking over his lips.
About twenty minutes later they pulled up in front of the movie theater. Semani was filled with excitement.
They weren't quite sure what they were watching yet, but they would find out once they went inside.
THEY were 45 minutes into the movie ' MUFASA'. Of course Semani picked it. It was actually pretty good so far to Dayvon. He thought he wouldn't like it.
"Awww he's so cute." Semani said in awe at the baby cub that was being showed on the Tv.
"Shit ugly as fuck." Dayvon said, making Semani gasp, hitting his arm with a frown on her face.
"That's mean! he's not even ugly." Semani said in disbelief.
"Shhh." A little boy said that was sitting behind them. Both Semani and Dayvon quickly looked back.
Dayvon eyeing the little boy with an evil look. "What?" The boy said in annoyance at the couple starring at him.
"I advise you to shut the fuck up." Dayvon hissed at the boy, allowing him to see his sharp teeth.
The little boys heart dropped as he quickly got up, running to sit far away from the two.
"Dayvonnn why you did that?" Semani asked with a chuckle. Von only shrugged as they went back to watching the movie.
Placing his arm around Semani, she leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Von?" Semani asked lowly, making Dayvon look down at her.
"Wassup Ma?" He asked giving her his full attention.
Here goes nothing. He heard her thoughts as he raised his right eyebrow.
"Do you think we would actually last?" Semani said. Dayvon was silent for a few seconds before he spoke up.
"Yeah.."
"You positive?" She asked staring into his dark orbs. Licking over his lips, he grabbed her chin, lifting her head up.
"I know for a fact." He said before placing a wet kiss on her lips.
He definitely kept his promise, because whatever happened ,he would make sure they still found their way back to each other.

"Damn Mani all this damn shit.." Dayvon said walking with Semani in the mall with a handful of bags from different stores.
Semani had some bags in her hands too, but Dayvon had the most of course.
Semani giggled before speaking up" Just one more store Vonnn." She dragged. He mugged her but still followed behind her into the store ' Rue 21'.
"Ouuu this is so cute!" Semani exclaimed holding up a pink crop top to her body.
"What you think baby?" She asked looking over at Von.
"Yeah it's straight." He said looking at the shirt and she rolled her eyes playfully.
"Okay come on let's go, my arms getting tired." Semani said with a long sigh.
"Oh so now yo arms getting tired?" He side eyed her and she nudged his arm.
"Mmcht hush." She waved him off, picking up a few more shirts before finally deciding to walk to the counter with Dayvon walking closely behind her.
"Hey how you doing today?" The cashier asked Semani as she started ringing up the items.
"Gooddd." Semani sent the older woman a warm smile.
"Your total is 41.23"
Semani was about to pull out the money but Dayvon beat her to it, swiping his card.
"Von you've been doing this alll day!"Semani groaned. She didn't have a chance to pay anything.
"So, let's go." Von said shrugging, he was ready to go, they had been in the mall for two hours so far.
The two exited out the store, making their way out of the mall. As they got closer to the car, Dayvon stopped walking, making Semani do the same.
"Aye , get my keys out my pocket , and unlock tha' trunk." He said. Semani placed the bags down on the ground, sticking her hand in his pocket , pulling out the keys.
She hit the unlock button , and the other button to open up the trunk. Picking up the bags off the ground, both her and Dayvon placed them in the trunk.
Once everything was in the trunk, Dayvon closed it, walking over to the passenger side to open the door for Mani.
Once she was in, he walked over to his side getting in the car. Semani got on her phone, opening up tiktok and began to scroll.
"You love that fuck ass app." Von said looking over at her, licking over his lips. She looked up meeting his eyes.
"Shutup it's entertaining actually." She said waving him off.
"Yeah whatever." He chuckled starting up the car, pulling off shortly after.
A few minutes later, Dayvons phone that was sitting in the cup holder started ringing , Semani's attention going towards it.
'Asian' Read out across the screen. Semani started chuckling bitterly.
"Why she still calling you Von?" Semani asked softly. Dayvon furrowed his eyebrows, glancing down at the screen.
His mouth formed into a ' O', before his face turned into a Mug.
"I don't fuck with ha." Dayvon said dryly not wanting to talk about the situation.
"Sooo why does she feel the need to call you Dayvon? huh?" Semani questioned feeling herself become upset and Von could tell.
"I don't fucking know Semani , damn!" Dayvon said hitting the steering wheel with his fist. It was hard for him to explain to her.
Semani's body jumped at his actions and the tone he was using with her. Dayvon pulled over on the side of the road.
"Look Semani, me and her not together but she keep trying to get back with me and shit.." Dayvon told most of the truth.
Asian didn't know Semani and Dayvon were in a in relationship yet. Dayvon did break up with her though, but of course she wouldn't just go so easily.
"Why not just block her?" Mani asked, crossing her arms.
"It's not that simple.." He trailed off with a frustrated sigh.
The fuck. Semani thought to herself.
"Okay, take me home." She said firmly making Dayvon snap his head towards her.
"What?"
"I don't wanna talk to you right now." She said, not wanting to be in his presence at the moment.
Dayvon's eyes twitched ,before he let out a deep chuckle but he remained calm.
Taking the car out of park, he spoke up. "Ight Semani."
