You worked in a restaurant near the ports in Yokohoma. It wasn't a big one but had its fair share of loyal customers who adored you.
Your shift was coming to an end when you heard the bell go at the door. You looked up and smiled when you saw Oda walk in.
He came over to the bar which you were station at and sat down.
"Would you like your usual?" You asked him.
"Ill just have a soda, I'm driving" he says.
You nodded and got him a cola. He went to hand you the cash but you shook your head
"Its on me don't worry"
"No y/n take the money" Oda says
"Oda. Its on me." You told him before walking away to serve a table.
Oda wasn't having it and grabbed your co workers attention.
"Its for my drink, she's being stubborn" He told her.
"You're Oda right? her boyfriend?" the worker asked taking the cash.
"Yeah thats right" he says.
"You're pretty good looking, Im surprised you agreed to date her" The worker says.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Oda quizzed.
"Well I mean no offence to you in your taste of women but...y/n has no curves, or breasts she's just flat" she says
"Offence taken. Theres nothing wrong with her body." Oda frowned standing up.
You came back and frowned "are you leaving already?"
"I remembered i gotta go check on the kids, Ill come back and pick you up" Oda says.
"alright then..." You say
Oda leaned over and pecked your cheek before heading out.
After your shift ended you came out and Oda was waiting in the car. you got in and you could tell somthing was bugging him.
"Oda? You okay love?" you asked
"That woman you work with on the bar..." He says
"Oh Corrie?" you asked
"Yeah...are you aware that she talks about you behind your back?" Oda asked
"What was she saying?" you asked
"That you have no curves and no breasts, and that I should be with someone who isn't flat" he says.
"she said that..." you mumbled.
"She did, but you know that i love you for who you are, not for what you look like, they're Just bonuses," Oda says.
"Yeah i know...but i thought she was my friend...I told her things that i wouldn't tell just anyone..."
Oda felt awful, he hated seeing you upset. You truly felt betrayed by Corrie...
Oda sighed and hugged you.
"Im sorry sweetheart, I wasn't going to tell you at first but I figured you should know what kind of person Corrie is" Oda says.
You nodded and pulled back.
"Thank you for telling me Oda...I'll take care of it from here" You say.
Oda was about to question what you meant but before he could you got out the car and walked back inside. Corrie was the manager so You walked in and put your name badge and work key down.
"Y/n what is this?" Corrie asked
"I know what you said to Oda, And To think that i considered you a friend" You say
"Oh come on someone had to question if he really wanted someone like you. You're a great person with a kind heart and friendly personality, customers are constantly tipping you extra but looks wise, Your lacking" she says
"I may not have curves or the body of a model, Corrie. But at least i don't walk around with my skirt hiked up my arse and my breasts hanging out whenever a guy who you find attractive walks into the bar." You say.
"You cant say that Im your manager!" she says
"Not anymore. I quit"
"Y/n you cant you're our best worker we'll lose customers!" she called
"Thats your problem" You called back before leaving.
When you got back in the car you looked at Oda.
"So i just quit my job..."
"Of corse you did" he chuckled not even surprised.
"and i was thinking I could take in then kids, be their new mom" You smiled.
Oda was surprised but smiled
"I think the kids would like their new mom"
