Her voice turned icy. "It's always about you. Everyone orbits around you like you're some kind of goddess. But why should you have it all while I get nothing? If I can't have it, neither will you. I wanted to destroy your love, your reputation—everything."
A cold dread slithered down my spine.
I'd thought she was my friend. But now, the mask was off. She wasn't just jealous—she was poison. And I'd let her right into my life.
