ALPHA TRISTAN’S POV
“Release him and clean him up,” I commanded the guards at the gate as I walked out of my pack’s holding ground.
With no question asked, the guards nodded and they jumped into action.
Before I went into the cell and heard Louis out, the plan was to have him killed in any way he chose but fortunately for him, he presented his case well. Perhaps I should have listened to him a week ago and saved us all the pain and drama.
And fortunately for him, his decision to stay alive rather than choose death sounded great to me.
Yes, I could have had him killed regardless.
I didn’t need him.
I could get another Beta within a twinkle of an eye but to be honest, I didn’t want someone else. Louis would be punished but he’d live on as my Beta and together we would revive the dead dreams of our parents.
With the newfound determination, I returned to my home where I hadn’t been in a week all because I wanted to avoid Lorraine who had been locked and kept in her room. My home was big enough to keep us both separated for months but I couldn’t bring myself to stay there and get reminded of the nights we spent together.
Which was why I had stayed in my pack’s office for the past week.
But now, I was home and I went straight to Lorraine’s room to make her understand that I was the boss in this relationship. She doesn’t get to manipulate my men or trick me into doing anything just because she wants to.
“Good day, Alpha.” The two guards in front of Lorraine’s bedroom greeted me and bowed when they saw me.
I nodded in acknowledgment before saying, “You can leave now.”
The guards left and I pushed the door open without wasting another second. I thought Lorraine would be in bed but I didn’t see her in her room. Instead, I heard her humming peacefully in the bathroom.
That bitch!
I stormed into her bathroom and found her in the bathtub, eyes closed and completely at peace. While I was rotting away these past few days, she clearly had been having fun.
Before she could even see me, I yanked her naked body out of the bathtub, holding her by her neck and slamming her against the nearest wall.
Lorraine yelped, eyes flying open as shock racked her body. Her hands quickly moved to the one hand I was using to hold her neck and her body against the wall. She tried to pry my fingers off her neck even though her feet were dangling.
I hissed at her red face, “You think you can have your way in my pack? How dare you go after my man?”
Clearly, I should have had this conversation with her that morning but I was too overwhelmed by lust, disbelief, and embarrassment to straighten things out.
Lorraine’s face twisted as she began to choke but I couldn’t care less. I hissed at her again, “If you really want to live, don’t ever try to go behind my back. Don’t ever try to manipulate me and the people of this pack. I’m everything Lucas is but I’m not as stupid and as lenient as he was. I’ll crush you without hesitating and that would be the end of you. Do I make myself clear?”
She tried to nod as her body trashed around but a nod wasn’t enough. I released my hold on her neck just enough for her to inhale hungrily and answer loudly, “Y-yes, A-alpha.”

I took my hand off her and she crumbled, couching to open her airway while I ignored her nakedness. I turned around despite the sting I felt in my neck as a result of the mark we both shared.
It was simple. If she’s hurting, I will feel it as well.
Her pain has become my pain and vice versa.
So it wasn’t too surprising when a wave of desire rolled over me, causing me to tense up as I tried to leave the bathroom. Lust. I knew what that was and even though it wasn’t mine, it consumed me, and a dangerous burn built up within me.
“That was hot.” Lorraine stunned me when she said that after pulling herself together. She rose to her feet and closed the distance between us. “Horrifying but hot as fuck. I’m dripping wet for your touch-”
“Thinking I’ll touch you shows how crazy you are.” I seethed, despite failing to move my feet.
Her desire poured into me and took my ability to walk…
“Oh, you will, mate.” Her voice sounded like it was meant to intoxicate me and I finally understood why Alphas tend to be weaker with their mate when Lorraine stepped in front of me and placed her hand on my face. “You can feel how much I want you and since we are newly mated, you won’t be able to resist or block out my desire.”
She was right. I couldn’t resist anymore.
I finally looked at her naked wet body and all I could think of was taking her right there.
“Besides, the more you fuck me, the stronger I become and the stronger I become, the better for you. Right? You need me but now you will want me because I want you to handle me roughly. Choke me, stuff me with every inch of you.”
And again, she was right.
Just like she wanted, I tore her apart. Although it started with her lust, mine dominated with every thrust and I got to show her that I remained the boss even in the bedroom… or bathroom.
