Neither of us wanted to end the call because we knew once it ended, we would face reality and would see that we weren't lying next to each other.
I couldn't even remember all we talked about. I just listened to Delilah talk with a smile on my face till she fell asleep then was awakened by Myla.
I watched as she went to get Myla, fed her and only when Mia slept back did she fall asleep as well.
I watched both of them for a while, wishing I was near them at that moment. A few minutes later, I fell asleep and was awakened by the sound of someone knocking on my door.
I slowly opened my eyes and came face to face with Delilah's face. I smiled then let out a groan as another knock sounded on the door.
In order not to wake Delilah and Mia up, I had to end the call. I kissed her through the screen then ended the call before reluctantly getting up and walking towards the door.
I frowned as soon as I opened the door and came face to face with Annalise who had a bright smile on her face.
"Isn't it too early to be smiling that hard?" I asked groggily and she giggled.
"Good morning to you too. We witches thrive in the mornings contrary to mythical beliefs. Here is your schedule" She said then handed me a journal which had a lot of things written in it.
"You're to wake up at six every day then come out for meditation, it helps with easing the mind. After that, we have breakfast then head into your first activity which is deciphering what the voices say" She told me and I frowned.
"What is in this journal?" I groaned and she shook her head.
"Don't worry, you won't be needing it because I'll remind you of your schedule everyday. By the way, you have twenty minutes to get ready for meditation. You can't be late so hurry up" She told me and I rolled my eyes. These witches were being so extra.
"I'll be out soon" I muttered before closing the door. I let out a sigh as I walked back to the bed and grabbed my phone. I contemplated calling Delilah but I didn't want to wake her or Mia up so I just sent her a text.
[Going out for meditation. I'll call you when I'm done. I love you and Mia so much. Don't forget to have breakfast] I added, knowing she always ended up missing breakfast.
I didn't bother bathing and just wore a tank top and some shorts. I opened the door and Annalise Was still there.
"You're still here?" I muttered as I walked out of the room.
"Consider me your guide for as long as you're here. Don't worry, you'll love me soon" She joked and I rolled my eyes before walking away.
She led me towards the meditation ground and as soon as we got there, they all turned to us and bowed their heads.
"Ahh, his star is so bright. He's truly going to make the perfect vessel" An elderly witch said with a toothless smile.
"Come take a seat next to me, Luca. We'll start Meditating Immediately" The Queen of witches said and I felt a little weird being in the midst of so many women especially because of the way they were looking at me.
As soon as I sat down, the Queen of witches began a chant.
"Close your eyes and let the chat ease your mind. Let go of your worries" Annalise murmured into my ears and I did exactly as she said and was surprised by how calm my mind suddenly seemed.
I was in a state of tranquility.
I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulders and I almost let out a moan because of how good the massage felt.
"Open your eyes. Morning session is over" I suddenly heard the Queen of witches Say and I slowly opened my eyes and everything suddenly seemed brighter.
"Do you feel better?" I turned to the voice and saw Annalise Staring down at me with a smile. So she had been the one massaging my shoulders.
"I'm going to let this slide today but don't ever touch me again without my permission" I told her and I stood up.
"I was just trying to help..."
"I know that but my wife won't be happy to hear that you touched me and I don't want to make her angry or sad" I told her and she frowned.
"Oh... I'm sorry, it won't happen again" She uttered and I nodded. It was good that I already told her her place. I didn't want her getting any ideas while I was here.
"Let's head out to breakfast" The Queen of witches said and I followed behind them and we walked into a cave which led to a huge dining hall.
There was already food on the tables and damn, the witches were living the fairytale life.
"You must be hungry. We made sure to make your favourite Breakfast food" She uttered and I raised an eyebrow.
"And how exactly do you know my Favourite breakfast food?" I asked.
"Because your wife gave us a book containing everything we need to know about you. Your likes, your dislikes, your allergies. Maybe deep down she knew you were hoping to end up here at the end of the day" She said and I frowned and made a mental note to question Delilah later.
Speaking of which, I brought out my phone and was about to check if Delilah had replied when the phone was suddenly snatched Out of my hand by the Queen of witches.
"Excuse me?" I muttered as I turned to her with a glare.
"We have strict rules here, Levi and although I understand your situation, phones are not allowed to be used when we are all together. It disrupts the energy and brings back luck Therefore you're only allowed to use your phone when you're alone" She explained and to say I was in disbelief was an understanding.
She has got to be joking with me...
