I was seated outside by the patio when I felt Damon's presence behind me.
"Is this going to be a routine for you now?" I asked softly without turning to him.
"You tell me" He uttered before taking a seat next to me on the bench.
"Go home, Damon. I'm sure Clara and the kids are waiting for you" I murmured and he sighed.
"Clara would kill me if she knew I left you like this and I'm not about to sleep on the couch. Mind telling me why Luca almost shut down my phone with his non stop calls?" He asked and I pursed my lips.
"I'm pretty sure he has told you" I said and he nodded.
"He did but I want to hear from your end. Come on, tell me what happened" He urged and I sighed.
"I might have lashed out at him," I stated.
"Why?" He asked.
"I don't know, I just got mad that he still chose to remain friends with Annalise even after I told him that she had feelings for him. He may think I'm paranoid But I know she does. I mean, I spent years chasing that man and I know how oblivious he can be" I said to him.
"He said she only sees him as a brother" Damon said and I scoffed.
"Brother my fucking ass. I know all the tactics, I used them all for Luca. First you start acting like a sister and slowly make him fall for you. That's how it fucking works" I told him and he sighed.
"You've got to trust Luca, Delilah. That's the only way both of you can make your relationship work" He stated.
"Then he needs to trust me as well. If he can have female friends then I'm allowed to have male friends. Besides, Russo Just got here and as his Luna, it is my job to be accommodating towards a new pack member. I thought he'd understand that but I guess he didn't" I said to him.
"I already scolded him on that. It's a good thing Russo is trying to help you out but you also have to understand where he's coming from. If I found out a male wolf I knew nothing about was going to my house, cooking for my wife and taking care of my kids, his limbs would be scattered all over the pack by now. He must have felt like he was being replaced" Damon pointed out and I frowned.
"That's absurd!" I exclaimed and he chuckled.
"Yeah to you but ever since Luca attacked you, he has been feeling a little insecure and while we know he has nothing to worry about, you just have to keep reminding him at least for now till he gets himself back. Both of you can be friends with anyone you want to be friends with but never cross that line. He understands that and so do you. Like I said before, now is not the time to fight with one another, okay?" He uttered softly and I sighed knowing Damon was right.
"It seems you got wise after having kids" I pointed out and he chuckled.
"I've always been wise. I just got more aware of people's feelings. Are you good now?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yes" I replied and he gave my shoulder a little squeeze.
"Good now go reply Luca before he hangs himself" He uttered and I giggled.
"I will talk to him" I assured him and he nodded before getting up. I furrowed my eyebrows when I noticed he was recording our conversation.
"What are you doing?" I asked and he followed my eyesight And saw that I was staring at his phone.
"Oh this..." He trailed off as he paused it before turning to me with a frown.
"This is my token to get lucky tonight" He said with a wink and I grimaced.
"Get out" I muttered and he chuckled.
"Oh and also, I wanted to talk to you about something" I called after him before he could leave. He turned around with a questioning gaze.
"Russo is a very good cook and I just thought in order for his talent not to be wasted, he needs a restaurant and to be honest, the food in the restaurants we have right now are getting boring" I said to him and he raised an eyebrow.
"I should open a restaurant for your side piece?" He teased me and I glared at him.
"That's not funny" I muttered and he chuckled.
"Bring him to my house Tomorrow. If he's able to wow me and my family with his cooking then I'll consider It" He uttered then waved me a lazy goodbye before getting into his car and driving away.
I sat out there for a while then grabbed my baby monitor before heading inside.
Since it Didn't seem like Mia had woken up, I decided to call Luca first before Turning In for the night.
As soon as I turned on the phone, it didn't take up to reply seconds before Luca's call came in.
I smiled slightly before accepting the call.
"Oh goddess. I was this close to coming back home" He uttered into the phone as soon as I picked up.
"You should" I replied and he sighed.
"I'm sorry about what I said. I don't know... I trust you, Delilah. I don't want you to ever feel like I don't. I love you so much and I hate it when we fight so please don't be mad at me. If you don't want me to be friends with Annalise then I won't be" He hurriedly said and I smiled.
"It's okay, you can be friends with her" I replied and he went silent for a while.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"I'm sure. As long as you never let her pass your boundaries then you can be friends with her. She cannot touch you, hold your hand, be in your room, all that stuff" I told him and he chuckled.
"Noted. If she ever tries to cross her boundaries, I'll put in her place" He replied And I nodded.
"Exactly and I'll do the same too. According to Damon, we trust each other and that's all that matters" I murmured and he sighed.
"Yes, that's all that matters. I love you, can we switch this to video call so I can see your face? Also can we fall asleep next to each other?" He asked and I giggled.
"You're so needy" I murmured even though I loved every bit of it.
"What do you expect? I'm obsessed with you. Have you showered?" He asked and I raised an eyebrow.
"Why?"
"Because I want to watch you"...
