The next morning, I was in a very good mood after waking up to Luca love bombing my phone.
I giggled as I read through his message and sent him a few back before putting my phone away as I went to attend to Mia.
"You've been such a good girl" I uttered softly as I picked her up from her grip and she giggled slightly in response. She has just been an angel.
She eats from a bottle more frequently now and hardly cries even if she's awake, almost like she can tell I'm alone and doesn't want to overwhelm me.
After bathing her, I got her dressed in a cute pink outfit.
"You're going to spend the day with your cousins. Are you happy?" I asked and she made a few baby noises while kicking her feet as if tonshoe her excitement and I giggled before leaning down to place a kiss on her cheeks.
After placing her down for tummy time, I decided to get ready as well. We had to head over to Russo's house first so I could drive them with me to Damon's house.
I already told Dimitri about the news so he could alert Russo since I didn't have his number.
I didn't bother eating since I knew I was going to be eating a little today.
I fed Mia then burped her and only when she fell asleep did I decide it was time to go. I placed her in her car seat and headed to Russo's house.
It didn't take long for me to get there. I picked up Mia's car seat and headed for the door. I didn't even have to knock before Rebecca's Excited face popped out from behind the curtains.
I smiled at her and pointed at the door.
"Care to let me in?" I asked and she nodded before her face disappeared.
I heard the door locks being unlocked before she opened the door.
"Good morning, Luna" She greeted as she bowed her head and I smiled even though I still haven't gotten used to being called that.
Even though Clara was Queen Luna now, she still handled most of the Luna activities in the pack.
"Russo, Luna Delilah is here" She screamed loudly and I giggled. That's the loudest she has ever been.
I heard a few loud steps from inside the house before Russo showed up at the door. They were both all dressed up and I could see the nervousness in his eyes.
"We are ready. I'm sorry for keeping you waiting" He apologised and I waved him off.
"I just got here. Shall we leave?" I asked and he nodded.
"Yes, of course" He replied and just then Rebecca stepped forward and hugged me tightly.
"Thank You for giving him this opportunity" She murmured softly and I smiled as my motherly instincts Suddenly kicked in.
Rebecca was right about the same age as I was but thinking about how these two had stuck together since they were little pups almost brought me to tears. Only The goddess knew what they had to do to fend for themselves at such a young age.
"It's my pleasure" I replied and after that, we all got into the car with Rebecca sitting at the back seat while Russo was seated on the passenger seat.
"You have to calm down, Damon doesn't bite" I uttered when I noticed how tense he was.
"That's not what I heard. If I make one wrong move, he might kill me" He said it rolled my eyes.
"His wife is there so i can assure you that he's going to be on his best behaviour" I told him and that eased him up a little.
I decided to talk about different things to distract him, which worked for a while. But as soon as we got to Damon's mansion, he was literally shaking from nervousness and Fear.
"It's going to be okay, I promise" I told him as I parked the car.
He turned to me and his eyes softened and he let out a sigh.
"I just... Being here, being a part of a pack has always been a dream for Rebecca and I. Now that we are here, I really don't want to do anything that would ruin it. We can't go back to being rogues, especially Rebecca. If I'm kicked out then she has to stay here..."
"I'm not leaving you, never" Rebecca said firmly and I chuckled.
"Relax, both of you. You think if Damon doesn't like your food, he's going to send you away?" I asked and he pursed his lips.
"Isn't he?" He asked and I laughed.
"You're silly. You're part of our pack now and silly matters like this will never get you kicked out so don't fret. Let's head inside now" I said and he nodded before we climbed out of the car.
Rebecca helped me carry Mia's car seat and we walked towards the door.
I would usually just walk in but I didn't want Russo Or Rebecca making the mistake of ever doing that.
I knocked slightly and almost immediately, Damon opened up the door and Russo and Rebecca immediately bowed their heads.
"Good afternoon, Alpha King" They greeted at the same time but Damon didn't reply and just kept staring down at them, pushing out his Aura towards them in a way to show his dominance.
I could see both of them shaking and Rebecca was this close to dropping Mia's car seat.
"Give it a rest, Damon. You're scaring them" I heaved a sigh of relief when Clara showed up with a kind smile.
Immediately, Damon turned to her with a pout and the previous Intimidating Aura was gone.
"I didn't even do anything" He murmured but she ignored him and just kept staring at Russo and Rebecca who still had their heads bowed.
"There's no need for all these formalities. We have met before, haven't we?" She uttered and Russo quickly glanced at me and only when I nodded did he raise his head.
"It's a pleasure to meet you again, Queen Luna..." Before he could complete his sentence, Clara grabbed him and interlocked her arm with his as she led him inside.
"I haven't eaten anything all day because of you. I can't wait to taste your food because I know Delilah is a very picky eater" She uttered and Damon let out a growl almost instantly and tried to pull her away from Russo but she slapped his hand away.
"Oh hush! You almost scared him away" She scolded him and he immediately shut his mouth as his eyes widened.
I couldn't help but snicker at how Clara Was the only one that could keep him in check.
"Serves you right" I muttered as I walked past him and he growled in response...
