The young man started heaving and shaking as he became delirious, "He found me, Uriel."
"What should I do?"
He stood up and made his way over to Uriel, "Cain.... He found me...."
"In my dreams he sent me a message, Echormai ¹."
He slumped to the ground, "Why?"
"When will he leave me alone....?"
"Uriel, you have to help me. Keep him away from me."
The young man hugged his knees, fear was clearly seen not only in his eyes but in his body language. It was deep rooted into his soul. The foreboding feeling of being hunted could never be shaken off. Uriel touched the young man's forehead and put the distressed man to sleep.
The young man fell onto the floor and the only worry that remained was the furrow of his brow. Lying on the floor was the was the first seal of it's kind, Abel. Uriel had found, Abel² when he was out examining the bodies.
He was son of Adam and Eve, younger brother of the accursed Cain. Because their Father took pity upon him after his death, his soul became the first seal that was put in place.
---
The next day, Uriel and Abel journeyed back. He had changed his appearace back into the youth with the sunset brown hair. Adriel's somber face was what Uriel first encountered when he stepped into the school grounds. Two out of the three musketeers were missing. Sitri and Astaroth was nowhere to be seen and their presence was completely gone, it was only Adriel that had remained.
Adriel glared at the man besides Uriel. He was annoyed that his archangel came back with vermin.
The demons underneath his command had informed him of Uriel's return only when his presence was sensed in the states. Even those demons in the other continents didn't sense Uriel, so where had he gone to?
Adriel didn't know where his archangel went and couldn't contact him. Irked to the max, he wasn't going to let this issue slide that easily. Wasn't he supposed to watch over him? Why did he leave? Why didn't he say anything before he left? Now that he had finally returned, he would bind him to himself so that he would be by his side.
Uriel only gave him a glance before he took the shaken Abel inside. No words were exchanged between him and Adriel as he passed by. Going past the motionless figure, Uriel felt the sharp murderous aura come from behind him. He ignored it. He needed to do this, no matter the repercussions he might suffer. It would be worth it in the end.
He had received reports from his six apostles that remained and knew of everything that had happened in his absence.
Coincidentally, Astaroth and Sitri left in the morning after the "death" of Paimon. Not only was Paimon sent back, but Uriel had received news that Gabriel and some of the other angels and archangels that were on Earth, sought out and exterminated over three hundred other demons.
Their return most likely had to do with the influx of demons being purged. It was an unbalance of too much 'good' and not enough 'evil'. Both were necessary to keep each other in check, in order to avoid anymore conflict. It also showed that the angels had no respect to keep the pact that was made, executing their purgatory carnage incessantly.
Watching the back of the two people, Adriel glowered, "Amon, find the identity of the man."
A black shadow appeared behind him, "As you wish, Solomon."
As soon as he came, he disappeared. Not even a wisp of his shadow could be seen like he had never come there. Adriel rubbed his glabella and followed after the two. He couldn't leave them in the same room alone with each other. He hadn't even been able to sleep right next to him, and how could he allow someone else to take his (U's) firsts?
When he caught up to them, Abel was sleeping on Uriel's bed while Uriel was sitting at the edge of his bed.
There goes one.
Adriel's lips drew into a very thin line. It gets under his skin seeing the two of them so close together, especially since that person was sleeping on that bed. He eyed that bed ceaselessly, causing the inanimate bed to shrink back uncomfortably. Hey, it's not it's fault okay? That person decided to come on their own will and climb on top of it. Psh. It's not even a living thing in the first place.
He felt the need to cleanse the whole room to get rid of the filth that was brought in. If Sitri was here, they would both grab that man and throw him out, maybe even torture the poor man somewhat. Sitri was the only other being that he would allow close to Uriel and inside of their room.
He strode over and stood in front of Uriel.
His ice cold aura gave out a compelling feeling that made one have to obey it's chilliness. Uriel's eyes raised to meet his. Lifting a hand, he rubbed the back of Uriel's neck. Then without any warning he suddenly pulled him forward. Tilting his head, their lips crashed into each other. Both of their mouths were scorching hot at the contact it made.
He bit the other's bottom lip harshly, before they pulled away from him. Adriel licked his lips, his eyes flickered with a mirthful flame as he stared at the slightly swollen petal. He could still relish the ambrosiac like taste of the other's lips.Unexpectedly, from that kiss he found out that Uriel's lips were much more softer than he had expected. Seeing him stare at him so intensely, Adriel itched to pull in for another.
Adriel narrowed his eyes. He needed 'it' to be completed as soon as possible. He had already passed off the essential part that he needed to to Uriel without that man's knowledge. He just needed to bring that man there now.
Knowing that he wouldn't have a chance to try tonight, he turned around and went to lay on his bed. He would feign to retreat to advance further. He wouldn't let Uriel catch scent of what he was up to, otherwise all of his painstaking hard work would be for naught. Once 'it' was completed, he will get the answers he was awaiting for.
The sun had disappeared below the horizon long ago, the twinkles of the stars plastered the night time sky. The moon laid high in the sky with it's crescent shape slightly obscured by the hazy clouds looming alongside the lonesome moon. It's cool rays blanketed the world underneath it.
After seeing Adriel fall asleep, Uriel looked at the other's lips... That youthful face was half light from the pale moonlight that shone in. That golden hair illuminated softly, the blue filter from the incoming light had removed the harsh contrast between the two colors. They melded together and unified each other. Thinking of the bleak future that was awaiting them all, maybe that would be the only intimate contact that they would ever have.
As his mind was thinking about Adriel, he received a distress warning from one of his apostles.

After receiving the distorted transmission, their connection was cut off. That would only mean one thing, someone or something had 'killed' the apostle. Because they were shards of himself and weren't an entity entirely by themselves, they could not be destroyed or killed. They would only go into hibernation mode and recover the energy that had been released from their body.
It took Uriel, fifty years to create the apostles. They were crafted with his finest feather, his own blood and sweat, laced with his purest energy, and formed from the strongest of the deities. They were his finest art creation.
Whatever his apostle came into contact with, it was strong. Strong enough to kill his apostle, whose strength could be considered stronger then that of a regular angel. Almost the level of an archangel themselves. He could also assume that whatever seal he was protecting is also now dead.
Uriel's clear eyes had a thin layer of frost. Whoever it was, they are acting as if they are conducting a witch hunt.
