Chasing You - Chapter 19: Chapter 19

After leaving the room, Long Zixi pinched the part between his brows and closed his eyes. He had gotten too caught up in the moment. It was too dangerous and he had to pull away. His once impeccable and impenetrable self-control was turned to dust whenever he was around Wei Xiao.
Butler Wang was flabbergasted on what happened inside for the young master Long to be acting like this. Was there some sort of trouble? Did they argue? Butler Wang's mind was swirling with all types of scenarios that would have occurred, but none of them were even close to why Long Zixi was so troubled.
Meanwhile, Bao Bao had just returned from his mission. After being in shock for over eight hours, he had forgotten all about Wei Yue and left right after talking with Wei Xiao. Don't know if it's Bao Bao's bad or good luck, but he missed the entire show.
He happily came back and reported to Wei Xiao, who had reverted back to his expressionless face on how Wei Yue had been 'escorted' out of the manor because she hadn't left on time. Bao Bao laughed gleefully at her misfortune.
She had just arrived at her new apartment not too long ago. Because Mr. and Mrs. Wei had guessed the Wei Yue wasn't going to go willingly, they had the servants pack her things ahead of time. She was fuming and throwing a rather laughable tantrum in her apartment. She smashed the new tv that was there and she broke almost all of the plates, bowls, and cups.
What she had forgotten is that Mr. and Mrs. Wei would only be supplying her with income so that she could live, the servants that she was so used to would no longer be there. She was alone.
It was just hitting twelve o'clock, when Wei Xiao finally arrived at the Long residence. They just saw off Mr. and Mrs. Wei at the airport before they drove here, otherwise they would have arrived earlier. Wei Xiao's luggage arrived way early in the morning and his room had already been set up.
Long Zixi got out of the car first and helped carried Wei Xiao onto his wheelchair. The Long residence was at least two times bigger than the Wei manor, white brick walls encased the massive mansion that stood in the middle of the place, there was a large fountain that stood in front of the mansion sized home, and around it were bushes and flowers.
The mansion was a warm grey colored with dark grey roof, it had beautiful light fixtures that were on the walls, the driveway was in perfect shape with it's monotonous color, and the greenery was added in with such detailed that it enhanced the beauty of the mansion even more. The plants and trees weren't overshadow or be concealed by the grace of the place, they were in harmony of one another.
In Wei Xiao's original world, he had never stepped or seen the outside world once. He didn't know how the air tasted outside of his hell hole, or if the sky was blue where he came from. All that he knew was that he was caged inside like a lab rat.
For this world, he had the freedom to go but not the strength to do so, he was still recovering. He also could not act OCC and therefore he had to plan ahead of time.
Wei Xiao had on a faint smile on his face as he took in the marvelous sight of the Long residence. In his past, his childhood had been stripped away and he was forced to endure. Even through his experiences, in his heart he was still a child.
Long Zixi saw Wei Xiao smiling and asked, "Do you like it here?"
Wei Xiao bobbed his head, "Mhm, it's very pretty here."
Long Zixi, "En. This will be your 'home' while you stay here. You can go anywhere you want here. Just let the servants know."
Wei Xiao looked back at him with starry eyes, "Really?"
Long Zixi gently brushed against Wei Xiao's hair, "En."
Wei Xiao gave out a bright smile that exposed his pearl white teeth. Long Zixi quickly took out his phone as if he had to check something and took a picture of Wei Xiao. If someone was to look inside of his phone and survived the ordeal, they call Long Zixi 'obsessed'.
His phone had hundreds of photos all containing one person, Wei Xiao. Somehow, Long Zixi was a great photographer and none of his pictures were blurry and they had great quality, on par of that of professional photographers.
Bao Bao rolled his eyes.
Bao Bao thought for a moment, what Wei Xiao said was true. Long Zixi wouldn't use his pictures for anything bad, there also wasn't any photos that were explicit in showing his naked body or private parts. But Bao Bao still felt that Long Zixi was a little crazy for taking so much photos.
Long Zixi showed Wei Xiao around the residence, he pointed out the places he knew that Wei Xiao would enjoy sitting in and he made sure to show him where the library was. The last stop was his room, coincidentally was right next to Long Zixi's room. There was even a door from Wei Xiao's room to his.
Wei Xiao didn't find anything strange about the placing and thanked Long Zixi. Afterwards, Long Zixi left to confirm his suspicions, leaving Wei Xiao by himself. He was in his room with three tall stacks of books right besides him.
Long Zixi had made sure that Wei Xiao wouldn't have to exert much effort if he needed anything, books to his left, a wooden cart to his right where he could place the books he's finished. There was even a remote control like object right next to him, if he needed something he could simply press the 'call' button and it would notify the servants that he needed assistance with something.

Long Zixi left the manor in a fast pace and arrived at the hospital. As to 'why'. It was because he needed to be 're-diagnosed'. Long Zixi was sitting inside one of the VIP rooms, he was casually sitting on the chair with his arms on top of the arm rest and his legs crossed.
The doctor was someone that he had seen for many years and was used to this man's pressuring aura, the nurse who was besides him wasn't so lucky. Her knees were shaky and her breathing was heavy.
The doctor quickly waved away the nurse to free her from the torture and turned back to the young man.
Long Zixi raised up his eyebrows. "So?"
The doctor pushed up his glasses and made eye contact with Long Zixi, "From what you've told me, your suspicions are correct."
Long Zixi heard the news he had already been suspecting and smiled, but that only made the doctor shiver. Ah, why are you smiling? Please stop. I still have grandchildren I want to see!
Ever since Long Zixi was young, he had always found it hard to 'like' someone like other children could. He had a hard time forming attachments to the other children and rarely showed any affection. His parents were worried for Long Zixi as they didn't know if there was anything wrong with him. They had him taken to the hospital to do a checkup and evaluation. After answering various amounts of questions, his doctor had informed them that their son was demisexual*. Though his parents were saddened a little by the news that their son would have a much harder time finding love, but they never gave up hope. Every parent would want their children to be able to find the one that they love. As for Long Zixi, he wasn't bothered by such trivial news. Whether or not he fell in love with someone, it would only matter when the time came.
That was what Long Zixi had thought when he first received the news, but that was until he met Wei Xiao and started to get to know him.
At first, he had thought of Wei Xiao as a good friend only but the more time he spent with him, the more he wished to keep himself there with Wei Xiao. Now hearing that he was correct on how he felt, Long Zixi was delighted. He had confirmed what he needed to, all that was left was to start wooing his dear 'beloved'.
