Ains raises his eyebrow at the silent Bao Bao. Ains turns away and starts combing through the memories that he was given. Currently, the body is only twelve years old. Ains arrived three years before the misfortune befalls onto his family.
Just earlier, Butler Wang had just come by and served Wei Xiao his breakfast and medication. Usually at this time, Wei Xiao would be sleeping due to the effects of the drugs but since Ains came into the body, the drugs wore off.
Wei Xiao tries to move his body to get use to his body. He finds a slight stinging sensation and pulls open his robe revealing an emaciated body riddled with small patches of dark purple and green spots. Wei Xiao frowns as he glances at his 'new' vessel's body.
There were various coloration to the bruises indicating that they were made at different times, the newest ones were a deep dark purple color which were made recently, others were a pale green color indicating that it was about a week old, and there were some light yellow and brown ones meaning it was over a week old.
Wei Xiao neatly fixed back his robe and lean back on the bed and faced the window.
Bao Bao rolls around in the air. Mm... it feels like Bao Bao is forgetting something...
Bao Bao continues to roll around pondering on what his poor memory had forgotten, it seemed important too...
Footsteps could be heard from the hallway outside, they grew closer and closer until the door knob jingled. The door silently opened and five people came into the room. Wei Xiao recognized all of them from his 'memories'. The first two were the doctor and nurse, the third one was Wei Yue, and the last two were Wei Rongrong and Wei Tian.
The Wei family seemed to be blessed by the Gods for their good looks. Every single one of them looked very beautiful and young. Although Wei Rongrong was in her late 40s, she looked no more than in her mid 20s. As for Wei Tian, he was in hitting his early 50s but he looked to be in his late 20s.
Wei Yue was only twelve but she looked to be two years younger than her actual age. As for Wei Xiao, he looked like a little angel sitting in bed and blinking his large round eyes at everyone. Bao Bao was flabbergasted at their genetics and felt a little bit of envy. Ahh, my eyes. Too bright, Bao Bao is going blind.
Wei Xiao had neck length platinum blonde hair, two large almond emerald eyes with fluttering butterfly like lashes, very pale almost translucent skin, a cutely shaped button nose, and small plump pinkish lips.
Everyone was shocked at the sight they saw when they came into the room. The sun shown down right on Wei Xiao illuminating him, enhancing his looks even more. It was just the right amount of light, making it seem as if an angel had just descended down upon earth. The only thing missing were his white wings.
Wei Yue clenched her hands tightly, her nails dug into the palm of her hands. She despised this 'younger brother' of hers. Although she was beautiful, she always had an inferiority complex against this waste. Sometimes she couldn't help but curse why she wasn't gifted with his looks instead of him.
Mrs. Wei walked up to Wei Xiao with a worried look, "Ah, my baby what are you doing awake? Are you feeling alright? If you do, tell mommy and mommy will take care of it for you."
Wei Xiao tilted his head and looked at his 'mother', in his life before he was taken in by the system, the word 'love' was non-existent to him. Wei Xiao kept silent and stared at Mrs. Wei.
Bao Bao suddenly remembers what his 'good-for-nothing' memory had forgotten.
Wei Xiao pondered a bit.
Mrs. Wei grasp her son's hands, "Is there something bothering you, baby?"
Wei Xiao adapted to the old Wei Xiao's timid personality and looked down and shook his head. The old Wei Xiao didn't talk much, even to his parents he wouldn't say anything. He would only shake his head for yes or no and whenever he did talk it would only be a few words.
Mrs. Wei's heart hurt seeing her baby like this, she wrapped her arms around him and held him close to her chest while patting his back.
The doctor came up and cleared his throat, "Young master Wei, do you feel any discomfort or pain anywhere?"
Wei Xiao peeked from his mother's bosom like a small kitten taking, the doctor almost chocked from the cuteness. Wei Xiao shook his head, his large watery eyes made him seem so defenseless and naive. The nurse itched to go and hug this adorable creature.
The doctor walked next to the bedside, "Mrs. Wei, if I may?"
Mrs. Wei glanced at her son and reluctantly took a step back. The doctor did a quick examination on Wei Xiao to make sure that his body was alright. He knew from the report that he had received earlier that Wei Xiao was supposed to be still asleep from the medication but he was awake. This greatly puzzled the doctor.
After examining, the doctor found that there was nothing wrong with Wei Xiao's body. It looked to be normal as it would be and the medication was still in his system. Which meant that there was no mistakes made earlier today, so why is he awake?
The doctor informed the Wei Family that Wei Xiao was normal, and there wasn't any changes. He then asked to talk to Mr. and Mrs. Wei in private. Mr. and Mrs. Wei looked at each other before nodding, Mr. Wei left a kiss on Wei Xiao's forehead before he left the room and Mrs. Wei kissed his soft pale cheeks before she followed after her husband.
The only ones left were the nurse and Wei Yue. The nurse helped administer Wei Xiao's medication and check on his vitals. Afterwards, she bid Wei Xiao good-bye and left.
Wei Yue who had been forgotten about was finally able to let her true self show. She had kept up her fake innocent facade the entire time with a smile on her face, but the moment they were alone in the room. That smile disappeared and her face darkened and looked like the bottom of a burnt pot. Her eyes narrowed down as she stepped closer to Wei Xiao.
Wei Xiao bit his lower lip and started trembling as Wei Yue closed the distance between the two. She was satisfied at his response and couldn't wait to vent out her frustrations. Wei Yue raised her hand and balled up her hands to a fist and brought it down onto Wei Xiao's tiny abdomen. Wei Xiao clenched his eyes shut with his brows furrowed.
Wei Yue spewed out her thoughts as she rammed her fist down again and again on her younger brother's body, she would also grab a hold of his upper arm and dig her nails and squeeze so hard that it would be bruised and slightly bleeding.
"You fu*cking brat! It's all your fault that mother and father doesn't pay attention to me."
"You should go die! You're so useless and weak!"
"Die already! Mother and father doesn't need someone like you!"
"You're a useless waste of space, you should disappear from this world!"
"This is for taking away their affection from me!"
"They should've loved me! Only me!"
"You should've died when you were in mother's stomach!"
"Why can't you just die!"

By the time Wei Yue finished venting her anger, an hour had passed. She felt relieved and stress free. She bent down and whispered in Wei Xiao's ear, "If you ever tell anyone, I will have mother and father throw you out! Don't think that they will choose you over me. You're already near death's door."
Wei Xiao kept his eyes closed, his lips here bleeding from himself biting down on it. Seeing the usual reaction Wei Yue happily skipped away and left the room.
Wei Xiao opened his eyes but the fear, that was supposedly there was nowhere to be seen in his eyes. Instead they were cold and emotionless. Wei Xiao fixed his robe once more and laid back on the bed with the corners of his mouth faintly curving upwards. Just you wait 'elder sister'.
