Allen gripped his hunters knife in his hand as he turned around. One of the survivors standing in middle section of the line had been infected and had just turned. He was now attacking everyone else around him. The soldiers who were standing by charged forward to try and put down the situation. Allen didn't do anything and just stood there, because now he was in front of people he couldn't act OOC.
The zombie was in a frenzy, there was so much food surrounding it. As if it could feel excitement, it made a loud muffled growl. The people close to it were very unfortunate. The zombie tore off one man's neck with his teeth, the missing flesh was hanging by it's mouth. While another, he had his vertebrae broken as he was trying to run away.
It leaped onto his back and bit onto his shoulder. A pregnant woman didn't even get a chance to run away, it crawled up and bit onto her calf. The soldiers were having a difficulty taking it down as it was still early in the apocalypse and the soldiers hadn't hardened their hearts yet.
It took more than twenty minutes for the zombie to be put down. For those who either got bitten or scratched and lived, they were sent away to a different place to be put down. The soldiers made everyone who was near that section get thoroughly checked for any injuries, in case they wanted to escape detection. After, they started to proceed with the checkpoint again. There was a supply fee to get inside the base.
For Allen it wasn't too much trouble but for others it would cost them their whole supply. After getting inside, you would have to wait three hours before you were let to the outer base. After three hours, Allen was tired. If he was moving around, he wouldn't have been so tired but he had been standing for most of the time.
As Allen made his way through the streets, he felt someone's eyes on him and looked around to see who it was but he couldn't see them. Allen searched for a place to stay the night, but he was unlucky as there wasn't any free rooms. He had been 'generously' offered a room for a 'favor', but he declined. They gave away their true intent by their eyes and hands. Allen didn't care to stay inside of base B, he just wanted to complete the side quest and leave.
Since he didn't have a place to stay, he would be camping in the trees once again. Allen found a nice and sturdy tree not far from the entrance and climbed it. He leaned against the trunk of the tree while holding onto his belongings.
Two days pass by and it was the night before the third day. Allen had done nothing here, but sit and move from tree to tree. He would occasionally hide from people who had eyed his things. He had not slept for two days, and for sure tonight he wouldn't be catching any sleep. Just as the morning was rising, screams filled the air.
A zombie horde had attacked the base. Allen stayed on the branch and looked at the massacre that was happening around him. There were many level 0 and level 1 zombies running around inside of the base. Some of them were below the tree and were stretching their arms to the air as if asking Allen to jump down. Allen was lacking sleep, and now this occurred. He was a little irked. Suddenly, Bao Bao receives an update.

Allen didn't know why he bothered to ask his system. Allen put on his bags and decided to go to the side building by the entrance. The military kept information on anyone who walked into their base, they had to give their name, birthday, gender, and where they had come from. Allen slipped around like an eel, avoiding both zombies and humans. One man had tried to grab onto Allen and shove him into an incoming level 1 zombie, but Allen tossed him over his shoulder. When he finally got to the side building, it had been abandoned by the soldiers stationed there.
There was blood stained all around the outside, a fallen soldier was sitting by the side of the door. His neck was bleeding profusely. Allen took out his knife. Just as he took a step, two level 0 zombies came out from inside. Allen side step them and jammed the knife into one of the zombie's skull. He then swept his feet at the other's feet, knocking it down onto to the floor. He then plunge the knife deep into it's cranium. Allen looked at the soldier and knew that he would 'wake up' later. He didn't hesitate to in penetrating the soldier's head. The soldier's limp body slumped down.
He quickly got into the building, he closed the door and locked it. He turned around to see a zombie less then three feet away from him. It was a level 2 zombie. Allen gritted his teeth. He toss his bags onto the floor and took out his pistol at the speed of light, he fired three shots simultaneously. All three missed their target as it dashed towards Allen. Allen rolled to the side and avoided it's arms swinging at the location he had been at before.
He shot another two shots as he slid underneath the zombie. As he went in between it's leg's, Allen took out his knife and chopped off one of it's feet. It stumbled forward as it lost balance. Allen took this chance and fired one shot to it's head, just as the bullet was about to hit it's mark. The zombie shielded it with it's two arms. The bullet only penetrated it the front of it's brain. He fired some more rounds, the zombie tried to weave through but because of it's missing feet, it's movement speed was lacking. Two shots hit the zombie's right shoulder rendering it's arms useless.
The zombie pushed off against the ground and lunged towards Allen. Allen couldn't dodge fast enough and the Zombie collided with his shoulder. Allen could feel his bone break from the impact. The zombie opened it's mouth, and tried to sink it's teeth into his shoulder that was caught. Allen took the advantage of being up close to it and slammed the knife into it's temple, where the soft tissue is. He then twisted the handle, making sure that the brain has turned into mesh. It drooped it's head forward.
Allen took a deep breath as he pushed the zombie off of him. It seems that he was still lacking in his strength to be caught out like that. Allen didn't bother to rest, he went over to the desk. He looked through the gate survivor logs, but didn't find the name he was looking for. Allen tore the desk apart and looked at the documents inside, until he came upon the name of his target.
Irvin Strioh, twenty nine years old. He's the general stationed here in base B. After looking at the photo on the paper, Allen shot out of the building and started looking for Irvin. Irvin was from the western part of the world, he had short golden blonde hair with deep blue eyes, like the sea. He had a sharp jawline and a straight nose with thin lips. Allen was like a mad chicken running from place to place, he looked throughout the outer ring of the base but couldn't find Irvin. That only meant that he would be in the inner ring.
Luckily because of the confusion and chaotic circumstances, Allen slipped inside. He eventually found Irvin but that man was surrounded by three level 1 zombies and one level 2 zombie. He narrowed his eyes. At his current condition, he wouldn't be able to handle another level 2 zombie. Allen looked around and found a severed arm. Allen picked it up and flung it to the level 2 zombie, just like beasts when food is thrown at it. It was irresistible, it picked the arm up and started munching on it. Allen took out his knife and jabbed it into the level 1 zombie's head.
He grabbed Irvin's hands, "Come with me!"
Irvin had been working in his office when the horde managed to get inside of the base. He and some of the lieutenant were discussing some matters, when a level 2 zombie burst in. The level 2 slaughtered the whole room in a matter of seconds, and also two level 1 zombies had somehow gotten in during the commotion.
Irvin was ready to fight for his life, he knew that his chances of living were extremely slim. He couldn't take on the level 2 zombie by himself and he sure as hell could't handle two level 1 added onto that. Irvin had been on the defensive as all he could do was evade their attacks, he didn't have a chance to even raise his gun to shoot.
Just as the level 2 had closed the distance between him and it, he thought that it would be his end right there and then. When he suddenly saw an arm hitting the level 2. He didn't have a chance to see who as he was busy dodging the level 1 zombie. Then the level 1 zombie that was to his left, slumped to the ground. Irvin was shocked beyond belief. A small slender and soft hand gripped onto his and started running.
To Irvin, the person looked like an angel. With short black hair and two beautiful black pearl irises. Irvin had recognized who it was at a glance. He was Allen Reeves, Kyle Reeves' younger brother. When they had been training together, Kyle would show off his younger brother to everyone. Many of them thought Kyle had been joking.
While Kyle had sharp and refined facial features, Allen had softer and a more feminine look but his masculinity could still be seen. Being his friend, Irvin had seen that photo too many times that it was impossible for him to forget it. Though the boy was wearing glasses now, the young man's eyes gave him away.
A week ago, Kyle had received a call from his younger brother and had set out to find him. Two days after he left, he returned back like one of the walking dead. Kyle wouldn't say anything on what happened, but he changed since that day.
When Irvin heard about what happen, he didn't know how to comfort his friend. His only family member was gone. His reason for joining the army, for doing anything that he did was no longer in this world.
