I walked down the dark street in tears and heavy heart, and the next minute, Kelly pulled up before me in his BMW,
“Pookie” He called immediately he saw me and jumped down from his car,
“Is everything okay?”
“Hmmm” I nodded
“Come on, you sounded so heartbroken on the phone there's no way everything is fucking okay, here get into the car first” He said and opened the car door for me, I got in while he took the bag of food and place it on the back seat, he joined me in the car,
“So to my home then right?” He asked and I nodded, I placed my head on the car window and I'm glad that he didn't ask me anything anymore till we got back to his place, he came to my side and opened the car door for me, as soon as I stepped down from the car and behold the mansion in front of me, I didn't know when the words blurted out from my mouth,
“Are your parents politicians?”
“What?” He made a cocky laughing face
“Come on Tay they are not”
“Then why is your house so big?” I asked still blinking in shock,
“Cause it is, Liam's home is big too”
“I know Kel, but I never expected your home to be a mansion as well, in fact you know what, I think I'm the one that underestimated you” I laughed,
“Did you just call me Kel?” He asked with a shocking face as he grabbed my hand
“Come on don't tell me that is all you heard me say” I scoff
“Let me get your bag” He winked and got the bag of food on the backseat,
“Let's go” He held my hand as we began to walk inside, we got in and I was completely starstruck, this place is fucking beautiful, now I don't know between Liam's home and here which one is more beautiful. I suddenly noticed that the whole place is quiet,
“Where's everyone? Don't tell me that you're the only one home?” I asked looking more shocked
“You guessed right Pookie I'm the only one at home”
“Really?”
“Hmmm” He nod,
“Come sit” He pointed at a couch and I walked towards it and sat down,
“What's in the bag?” He pointed,
“Food” I said excitedly, as I quickly opened the bag,
“Wooow, let me get some plate” He said and ran off, the next seconds, Kelly appeared with plates and we dished out the food, I was suddenly glad I didn't throw the food away, seeing Kelly's happy face is actually worth it, at least there's someone that appreciates my hard work.
Kelly and I ate the food and had a happy conversation, after which he showed me a room to spend the night, it was a gorgeous room, I got into bed and stare into space, I was so glad that Kelly did not ask me details of what happened, cause I would have broken down in front of him and he would have get to know that I'm in love with my stepbrother.
Throughout the night I kept on rolling from one side of the bed to the other. I kept on thinking, what Liam and Beauty would be doing by now, they are probably laid up in each other's arms doing their couple things and the thought of it already is driving me crazy.
I ended up not getting a single sleep for the night and tomorrow is school. Early the next morning, Kelly came knocking on my door and I opened up immediately
“Princess what happened? It looks like you didn't get a single sleep last night?”
“I'm sorry” I pouted, and he smiled and caress my hair,
“It's alright, let me drive you home so you can get ready for school okay?”
“Hmmm” I nodded,
We made our way out of the mansion and got into the car, it was so early in the morning everyone is still probably asleep right now,
“Tay?” Kelly called
“Hmmm” I looked at him with a raised eyebrows
“Do you feel better than yesterday?”
“Hmmm, all thanks to you” I smiled
“I'm glad I could be of help, I'll come pick you up for school okay?”
“Thanks”
We stopped in front of the mansion, I stepped down from the car and waved at him, he nodded for me to go inside and he stood there till I walked in,
“Where are you coming from?” Liam's annoying voice blasted me as soon as I walked into the mansion, I wanted to ignore him and walk upstairs to my room,
“Has it gotten to sleeping outside in a guy's house?” He came again, and I fucking know he's triggering me to get a response and a reaction from me but I'm not going to give that to him, I ignored him and continue walking upstairs,
“Fuck, Taylor I'm talking to you!” He yelled behind me but I already went upstairs.
Hours later, Kelly fulfilled his promise and drove me to school. From the first class to the last class that was held I didn't see Liam in class, it was just his girlfriend and her friends who were constantly glaring at me. School was over and Kelly has a basketball practice which he begged me to accompany him to so I can cheer on him, and I did, cause I honestly do not want to go back home and meet Liam's annoying face, but what I did not know is that the practice was for all teams which means that they are practicing together.
During the practice I kept on cheering on Kelly cause he was doing so well,
“Go Kelly!”
“Go Kelly!”
“Go Kelly!” I kept on cheering on him not minding that Liam is there,
“Yesssss!” I screamed as Kelly scored three points, I immediately ran down towards him and wipe his sweat with my handkerchief while everyone looked at us,
“I did well right Pookie”
“Of course you were so great” I smiled,
“Yoo man, you guys can make a cute couple” Ben praised us,
“You're right” Chris smiled
“Quit playing guys” Kelly smiled at them, Liams scored ten points the next minute after Kelly and everyone was roaring his name, and that was how he kept on scoring till the practice was over and their team won, it was almost like he was possessed by something and no one could match his energy cause he kept on scoring endlessly.
The game was finally over and it was time for Kelly to drive me home, though his friends suggested we should go have a drink, I excused myself to use the bathroom, so I walked to the bathroom, I was done, and was just washing my hand in the sink when I fe
