“Come on bro, there's a lot to drink, why are you not having fun?” Ethan tapped me by the shoulder
“I can't drink too much not today” I said to him as my eyes kept on darting to the time on my Patek wristwatch
“I thought you said you're going to sleep over today, why are you holding back?” Eden asked
“I'm sorry guys but I suddenly cannot sleep over, I can't leave her all alone at home, besides I've been gone for almost the whole day, I think it's time to check up on her”
“I got you bro” Eden smiled patting my shoulder, and Ethan nodded,
“You know I think it's time you stop holding back and claim her before someone else do, remember Desmond threatened you and he's not going to back down and that dickhead Kelly, he doesn't look like he's going to back down anytime soon either” Eden advised
“I think he's right bro, you've got to do something, you know we are always here to support you no matter the choice you make, but we really want to see you happy, I think you should go home, what if she calls that Kelly over for tonight, you know she cannot sleep alone at home?”
I didn't say anything anymore, I stood up instantly and left the place, as soon as I got outside I entered my car and zoom off immediately, while driving with one hand, I use the other hand to operate my phone as I quickly went to my location immediately and began to track down her location, but when I saw that she was still at home, I breathed out in relief,
I stepped on the pedal increasing the speed of my car and in the next five minutes I was already standing in front of the mansion, I quickly made my way into the mansion and there she was laying on the couch in the living room and sleeping peacefully, my heartbeat finally returned to normal, and I felt a thug of happiness in my heart.
I took slow strides towards her and as I got to where she is I quickly bent down and smiled as I watched her sleepy face, fuck who am I kidding, I can't fucking give her up no matter what.
“You little devil” I whispered as my eyes fixed on her baby face, I was already imagining how she would be running her mouth if she was awake right now,
“I hate you” I heard her mumble slowly in her sleep. The fuck who's she talking about I hope she's not cussing me out in her sleep.
She stirred in her sleep and suddenly turned to the other side of the couch,
“Come on little devil, I came back here becomes of you and now you're turning away from me” I scolded her slowly in other not to wake her up, she sleepily rubbed her arms and I noticed she was cold, I immediately took the remote and lowered the air conditioner, after which I took off my jacket and covered her with it before I went upstairs to my room to pick a duvet, I came back downstairs and covered her with it.
I sat on the bare floor in front of the couch, I took the TV remote and turn on to see what she was watching before she fell asleep but then I saw it was my favorite anime, the one I always watch over and over and over again, about a boy that has never felt loved in his entire life then when he finally got a little dog who never left his side, he loved the dog so much and cherished it, not until the day the dog was crossing the road and was crushed by a car and died, that day the little boy felt like his life is no more useful cause the only family who truly loved him had died and now he's back to being alone.
I loved the show so much cause I see myself so much in that little boy and that's why every fucking time, I kept on watching the show hoping that the ending would be different, even though I know it was impossible but I kept on repeating it regardless, that's how desperate I was for a better ending, that's how desperate I was cause I want to experience happy ending too, is that too much to ask of.
I ended up drinking till morning came, and she woke up,
“When did you get back” I heard her voice behind me, and smile
“You're finally awake, really is that what you have to say to me for being by your side the whole night?”
“Are you drinking?”
“Come on little devil I always drink”
“Today is Monday, there's school today, and also the basketball team will commence serious practice from today for the match ahead”
I smile and turned to face her
“Wait, are you worried about me?” I smile watching her expression
“Of course you're my brother”
My face scrunch up in disgust as soon as I heard her say that, and the smile on my face vanished immediately
“Fuck it Shorty, I'm not your fucking brother” I groan and stood up
“Why? You don't even want to feel related to me, do you hate me that much?” She asked like she's hurt, I sighed and ruffled my hair, she's fucking misunderstanding the whole shit,
“Fuck it Taylor, that's not what I meant how can I hate you and be here with you the whole night?”
“Then why don't you want anyone to know that we are fucking related? It's obvious that you fucking hate me Liam”
I angrily turned off the TV and turned to go upstairs
“You can't even deny it Liam you fucking hates me, is that why you never talked to me in school cause you want anyone to know that you live in the same house with a nerd, why the hell do you hate me so much!” She yelled, and that's was it, I cannot take it anymore,
My legs super speed to where she was,
“What do you say?” I asked standing before her,
“I said you fucking hates me, and that's why you don't want anyone in school to know that…”
Before she could finish her last sentence I grabbed her by the waist and slammed my lips on her, shutting her up,
Damn she drives me crazy, she's for real going to be the end of me.
