Kelly has basketball practice and in other to make up for not driving to school with him yesterday I promised him that I'll stay with him throughout today and watch him practice his basketball, I also promised him that I'll get him water whenever his tasty and wipe his sweat just so he could stop whining and also smile at me cause he hasn't smiled at me since today, I do not want to lose my best friend and that's why I'm willing to do all these for him to forgive me.
I was already seated in the basketball court waiting for Kelly cause he went to the changing room to get ready,
“Taylor” I suddenly heard my name and slowly look up, it was Liam, and his friends, he walked towards me with a thug of smile at the corners of his lips, he looks so fucking gorgeous, and sometimes I wonder how he sleeps knowing he can pull anyone he wants cause what in the freaking shit is this.
He stopped right before me, and I could already hear girls who came to watch the basketball practice cussing me out in their minds and heads,
“What are you doing here?” He asked and I was about to reply when Kelly appeared
“She's here to see me!” Came Kelly's loud voice, Liam and his friends turned and saw Kelly walking towards us, he stopped right before me, and stopped
“I'm tasty pookie” He pouted, at this point I was sure that everyone in the basketball court was watching
“Right now?” I asked and he nodded, I looked around me and Liam's gaze were fixed on me or should I say they were glaring daggers at me, but I already promised Kelly that I'll do anything to make him forgive me, and I'm not the type that goes back on my words so I quickly opened the bottle water and stood up as I began feeding him the water,
“Ahhhhhh……..!” Some of the girls began to scream, well of course they are cussing me out right now, cause Kelly is also popular in school, Liam threw the ball he had in his hands into the basket and walked away with his team,
“Are you okay, do you want more?” I said to Kelly as I pulled the water away
“No, I'm good, can you wipe the corners of my mouth please?”
“Sure” I smile and used the towel I had to wipe the corners of his mouth clean
“Do you feel better now?” I said to him
“Sure”
“Do you want me to score in your name?”
“Hmmm, if you score the highest today then I'm going to buy you lunch tomorrow”
“Really?”
“Of course” I replied with assurance
“You're not going to go back on your words right?”
“No”
“Then why don't we put it this way, if I win I'll ask for something else?”
“What’s that ?” I gave him a quirky expression knowing that he's about to be sneaky,
“Come on princess just agree to it first” He whined like a baby and I have no other choice but to give in
“Alright, alright, alright, if that's what you want” I smiled at him
“Yessss….” He almost jumped in excitement as soon as he got my approval, I shook my head and went back to sitting down while Kelly joined the others in the court as the practice was about to start. This time they would be practicing together as a team which means that Liam’s team and Kelly's team is being paired together for the practice because the competition they have is with another team outside of school.
The game has officially started, and I must say that Liam and Kelly would actually make a good team, they are both the GOAT of the basketball team, cause they play so well and has good basketball tactics as well and in this game I'll be cheering for the both of them,
“Go Liam, Go Kelly….!” I yelled and the both of them turned to smile at me, even the girls who were sitting beside me began to murmur amongst themselves
“Who does she think she is?”
“She's doing too much”
“She's probably a pick me seeking for validation” They kept on throwing different comments at me, and the funniest part is that they always try to be a little loud so I could hear them,
“Yesssssss……!” People began to scream and I looked up to see what's happening, Liam just scored, I smile widely waving at him, but the moment he blew me a flying kiss, the whole crowd broke out screaming, they thought he was blowing kisses at them, I shook my head in smiles, and eye search for Kelly, I saw him standing with a sad face,
“You can do it Kelly….!” I screamed trying to be loud cause the noise was too much, thankfully he heard it and smiled. The game continued and Kelly finally scored
“Yesssssssssssss…….!” I jumped happily,
“I love you pookie……!” He yelled from the court, and everyone turned to look at me,
“Love you too” I yelled happily waving at him, I could tell Liam's eyes were on me but I couldn't tell the emotions behinds those eyes, and halfway through the game Liam left, but that was after having almost 10 score, and the game finally ended, Liam did return till the game ended but no one was still able to get ten scores, but Kelly tried he made a whole 8 scores, I was super duper proud of him.
After the game ended, he ran up to me but he was pouting
“I'm sorry princess I couldn't make the highest score”
“That's okay, you did your best” I said happily and stood on my tiptoe as I pat his head,
“So can I ask for my reward?”
“Hmmm, No, a deal is a deal I'll just pay for lunch tomorrow cause you did well”
“Please pookie”
“No….” I glared at him but in a smiley way,
“Fine I give up”
“What were you trying to ask before?”
“To come over and spend the night at your place”
“Thank goodness I didn't agree” I replied quickly, he pouted so hard and I bursted out doing a happy dance,
Liam fucking hates it when I bring guys over.
