It was 5AM in the morning, I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth when my phone kept on ringing consistently and I already knew who it was, I quickly rinse my face and pat dry it with a towel after which I left the bathroom and went to grab my phone and just as I expected it's him
“Pooookie………!” He screamed almost destroying my ear drum that I had to take the phone further away from my ear,
“Kelly?” I called in a reprimanding tone,
“Come on princess I'm just cheering on you, have you started getting ready?”
“Hmm”
“Cool that's my princess I'm picking you up soon”
“Alright”
The call ended and I almost cried, Kelly just denied me my beauty sleep, he decided to do some run today for his physical health since the match is fast approaching and they were not able to practice yesterday he said he's exercising this morning and he wants me to come with him and cheer on him, and here I am being a good best friend even though I love my sleep so much I had to sacrifice that.
I finished getting ready I was putting on a pink leggings with a pink crop top, a white sneakers and my hair was packed in a ponytail, I also wore a pink headband, and went down to the kitchen to get a bottle of water in case Kelly becomes tasty while running, I went down with my phone as well cause I wasn't planning on coming back to my room till I'm back.
As I went down the stairs I don't know but for some reasons all the lights were off which was unusual, cause some of the lights are always left on, as I proceeded to the kitchen I noticed the door was unlocked, I didn't give it much thought and went on to open the door but immediately I entered everywhere was reeking of smoke, my heart skipped immediately thinking the kitchen is getting burnt, I found the switch on the wall and turned on the kitchen light,
“Holy shit…..!” I yelled and almost fall down, Liam was fucking sitting on the counter smoking and I almost got a heart attack thinking it's someone,
“I'm sorry, didn't know you'll come down” He said to me and dropped the stick of cigarette in the trash after putting off the lights, he walked to the AC and turned it on, I sighed and had to drink a cup of water cause my heart was beating so fast and I was still shaking from the shock.
I finished having the water and took the can of water that I needed for Kelly and closed back the fridge, I turned to leave and was surprised to see Liam leaning by the door staring at me,
“You're still here, I thought you left?”
He didn't say anything to me, and that's when I noticed his eyes were on my body,
“Why are you dressed like this early in the morning?”
“I'm going on a run with Kelly”
“Why do you have to go with him?”
“Cause I have to cheer on him, and this water is also for him in case he gets tasty”
“Don't you think you're overdressed?”
“Nhh this is more like a gym suit so it's fine”
“Uhm I have headache” He muttered walking towards me,
“I think there's pain medicine in the house, let me get it for you” I said and tried to walk past him but he grabbed my hand,
“I don't need the pain medication’’
“Huh? Then what do you want?” I asked in confusion, he smiled sneakily and forcefully grabbed me by the waist,
“Liam….” I growl,
“I want to lay on you, put me to sleep’’ He demanded in a hoarse voice. I sighed and almost rolled my eyes.
“Come on Taylor you knew better not to do that”
“Fine, but as soon as Kelly comes I'm leaving”
“No, you're not leaving until I fall asleep” His tone was like an order, I know I should be yelling at him right now not to order me but why do I find this smoker so fucking hot, and instead of me to refuse and stand on business I found myself saying yess to him. We got to the living room and I thought Liam was going to lay on the couch while I put him to sleep but instead he forced me to sit in the couch and he placed his leg on my thighs
“This is more comfortable” He muttered and closed his eyes, I began to caress his head trying to put him to sleep, with my eyes constantly darting to my phone, I know Kelly is going to be here anytime soon,
“Do you love him?” Liam suddenly asked catching me off guard
“Thought you've asked that before?”
“Have I?”
“I guess you have”
“So what was your reply?”
“You have headache, sleep”
“I won't until you reply me”
“Stop being stubborn Liam”
“Answer me”
I saw a car light shimmering through the transparent glass of the mansion, and I knew instantly it's Kelly
“Kelly is here”
“I don't care I'm not letting you go till you answer me”
“Liam?” I groaned but that same time the door opened, Kelly walked in immediately and saw I and Liam
“Kelly?” I called and tried to stand up but Liam was not moving
“Are you still coming with me?” .
“Sure give me a second” I gave him a smile,
“If you don't stand up right now, then I'm never talking to you again” I whispered to him
He stared at me for some seconds and without saying anything to me, he stood up and went upstairs, I looked at Kelly and he had a blank expression on his face, I took the can water and left with him, we got into the car and drove off, but Kelly has not said a word to me,
“Come on why are you not saying anything to me” I grabbed his hand as soon as we came down from the car, cause we already got to the field where he would be exercising, he ignored me and began to run, I know I was supposed to sit by the side and wait for him but at this point I had to run after him,
“Kelly talk to me atleast” I pressed further, but instead of saying anything to me he increased his pace, and by the time I ran around the field twice with him, I wasn't feeling my legs anymore, I gave up and sat on the floor waiting for him to come, I drank a little from the water cause I was fucking tasty and I was breaking so heavily, as soon as I sighted him coming, I stood up, but this time I blocked him and refused to let him pass,
“I'm not letting you run until you talk to me”
Seeing how persistent I was, he walked to one of the long benches and sat down,
“You want water?”
He didn't say anything to me but he took the water regardless and drank from it, I used my towel in wiping his sweat, and I brought out the mini handfan I came with, it was all in my mini bag as I began to fan him, he smiled on seeing the fan
“You prepared all these for me?”
“Hmmm” I nodded in smile seeing that his frowny face is slowly returning to normal,
“Can I ask you something?”
“Of course”
“Do you still love him?”
“Who are you talking about?” I smiled nervously acting oblivious
“Liam, both of us are dating, why does it seem like you two are getting closer?”
