The next morning I kept on pacing back and forth as I waited for Ethan to get through the little friend of Taylor's but he kept on calling and calling but it seems more like the little thing is not taking the call.
“What's going on?” I said to him, but instead of talking he shake his head
“Come on bro say something I'm so fucking anxious”
“Looks like he's avoiding your calls” Eden muttered
“Do you guys think Taylor told her?” I asked
“Of course she did, else why would he be avoiding your calls” Eden retorted,
“This means that something is actually going on” Ethan muttered
“Fuck, I thought you said you knew that guy so damn well, why is he fucking avoiding your calls?” I sighed, looking pissed and stressed
“Looks like that little pumpkin is braver than I thought”
“The hell, who's pumpkin?” I made a nasty face,
“Who's hungry?, I'm making noodles” Eden announced stood up
“You're really thinking about food when I have a problem?”
“Come on man you're going to be fine” Ethan pat my shoulder,
“Be fast with the food we are going home after that”
“What? No I'm still having fun” Eden growl
“Well you can chose to stay here, I'm not living her to spend another night thinking I'm away with some other girl, for all I care that annoying friend of hers might pop out from nowhere and would want to spend the night alone with her, I can't risk that”
“Fuck, you're head over heels bro!”
“It's none of your business” I yelled back at him, I grabbed my phone from the table and went straight to her IG and just like I expected she posted a lot of story with her tiny friend, she's always smiling so wide when she's with him but she has never smiled like that with me. I angrily toss my phone back on the table.
“Why don't you just call her and stop hurting yourself remember she called several and you refused picking up, you can message her if you don't want to call her, when are you going to stop being stubborn and own up to your feelings” Ethan attacked me with his words,
“Are you better than me, you think I don't know what's been going on with you” I glared at him
“Well maybe we are the same” He shrugged.
“Nhh I'm nothing like you, I'm going to claim what belongs to me very soon”
“Why are you not doing it now, what's stopping you, or do you want to delay till the one month that Desmond gave you is officially over before you can finally act, you better hurry up, Desmond might be our friend but you know he's being holding grudge and he will do anything to get what he wants and again there is Kelly that guy does not look like someone who's backing down anytime soon, you have opponents left, right and center unlike me, so you better act fast, or watch her fall for someone else”
“Nhhh she can't fall for someone else, it's impossible”
“So confident, well I hope that confident is enough though, better get ready you have lots of explanation to do when you get back home”
“About what?”
“About the girl you posted on your story, have you forgotten the news is already circulating in school, the bitch is telling everyone that she's your new girlfriend, how do you think Taylor is going to take that?”
“Why should I explain to her? She's not my mum and she's not my girlfriend”
“You're impossible” Ethan rolled his eyes
“But I'm right”
“The hell, have you ever explained shit to your mum? No”
“And that's why you should know me better, I'm not explaining anything to her”
“You know what, do whatever you want but don't come complaining when she refuses to talk to you”
“Guys, guys, food is ready, you should check out my new recipe and tell me how it taste”
“No I'm good I don't want to end up in toilet” Ethan said in surrender,
“Come on don't tell me you're not trying my new recipe too” Eden said to me giving me those puppy eyes
“You won't fool me with those eyes I'll pass”
“Okay” He shrugged, and picked his fork as he began eating
“Damn this food is so good” Eden moaned as he was stuffing his mouth with the noodles, Ethan and I exchanged glances and looked at the food, it looks good, I signaled for Ethan to taste it and he gently picked a fork, I watched as he ate the first spoon and his eyes lit up immediately
“Does it taste good?”
“Hmmm” He hummed with the food in his mouth,
“Then why are you not swallowing it?”
“This is good” He moaned and swallowed the food, I watched as he ate another spoon, and immediately I picked my fork and ate the first bite but it hasn't even gotten into my throat when the spicy and sour taste hit me, I looked at Ethan and the both of the bursted out laughing so hard, shit, I should have trusted my guts
“I said I won't be the only one to taste this rubbish!” Eden laughed harder,
“I'm sorry bro, when I tasted it and found out it was bad I couldn't be the only one to taste it so I also wanted you to taste it as well” Ethan smirked, I looked at the two people in front of me and I could not even say anything, I stood up and made my way to the thrash where I throw up, it was nasty.
I went upstairs and came back with my bag,
“Are you leaving already?” Eden asked with a surprised face,
“Have you forgotten we have basketball practice tomorrow?”
“Come on man don't use that to deceive us we both know what you're suffering from” Eden muttered looking at Ethan who smiled at him in return,
“So in your opinion what do you think I'm suffering from”
“Lovesick bro, who doesn't know that” Ethan muttered shocking the hell out of me as he made his way outside,
“Stop being ridiculous I'm only going back because we have basketball match tomorrow”
“Stop lying to yourself, let's go” Eden gave me a mocking look,
“I'm serious, we are not even dating why would you guys assume I'm lovesick, that's crazy” I groan stuffing my bag in the car trunk
“Let's act like we believe you, can we leave now?” Ethan blurted out,
