It's been few days since Liam gave me that ultimatum to break up with Kelly if I wanted us to date, but how can I do that I know it might be a fake relationship but recently Kelly has been so happy and practicing so hard I can't just break the news to him he's going to start questioning me on what happened and I don't have the answer to give him, I know he's just trying to help me get rid of my feelings for Liam but he's also my best friend and he has put in a lot of hard work into this he has poured his soul into helping me but how do I tell him that my stupid heart refused to be helped.
This evening I'm going to meet up with Charles, I've thought long and hard nobody else knew about my fake relationship with Kelly except Charles and Kelly and I know so damn well that Kelly would not have told Liam so if there's anyone that is the victim then it would have to be Charles, I also noticed that he's been acting sneaky avoiding my calls and messages which is unlike him and that's what made me to believe more that he's the person behind.
These days Liam is always at the practice and it's good for me cause I do not have to worry about running into him or anything. I finished getting ready to leave it was 5PM in the evening, cause during the day Charles made a lot of excuses on why he cannot see me and I insisted that we are going to take an evening walk even if it's just for thirty and he finally accepted, actually I think he accepted because he cannot run away forever.
I was done getting ready and since it was just an evening walk I decided to dress so simple, I put on a bun short, a crop top which exposed my tummy a little and a white sneakers, I took just my phone and left my room, but as soon as I was walking down the stairs I was so unlucky cause I ran into Liam walking into the house shirtless, I almost miss a step the moment my eyes met his bare chest, or should I say that I actually did and right now I'm caught up in Liam arms, with my face on his bare sweaty chest, but damn even with sweat he still smells heavenly.
I know I should be standing up right now, but why the hell do I feel so comfortable over here, wasn't I trying to run away from him?
“Really pumpkin? You're going out in those shorts?” Hearing those words, I snapped out from my fantasy, and tried getting away but he grasped me in his arms refusing to let go,
“Liam?” I called in a calm tone,
“Answer me, and look at me when doing that”
“Why should I listen to you?” I asked avoiding his gaze even though I knew I might be digging my own grave cause Liam can get impatient sometimes. He suddenly grabbed my jaws forcing me to look into his eyes,
“Who are you going to see dressed like this?”
I wanted to keep on teasing him but then I know my limit and I know when to stop, I smile and gently pulled his hand away, I know what I'm about to do right now it's crazy but don't blame me, blame the damn hormones that are controlling me right now, I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him so close, staring into each other's eyes, our breath dance in unison, our heartbeat intercepted as one, and slowly our lips collided, and this time I was in charge,
He tasted like wine mixed with Seduction, his tongue piercing,
“Fuck….” I suddenly moaned, shocking the hell out of myself. It was my first time moaning, I saw Liam smirking at the sound of that. His hands trail down to my ass and just when I thought he was going to squeeze them,
“Ahhhh…..!” A scream tore from my lips forcing me to break the kiss, Liam fucking spanked my ass
“Where are you going to wear that?” I swear right now I just wish I can just cuss him out,
“Charles, we want to go for a stroll”
“You sure it's Charles?” He did his eye thing,
“Hmmm” I nod,
“Fine I'll drive you there”
“But…..” I tried saying no but Liam already took my hand and dragged me to his car, we got outside and I noticed he has once again changed another car
“Why do you keep changing car like it's food, you haven't even drive all these ones parked here”
“I know I just love cars, I can't help it” He winked, I scoffed and turned towards the window
“Rich motherfucker”
“I heard that” He laughed and suddenly pulled close
“What are you doing?” I asked nervously trying to lean back, he smiled in a cocky way looking at my expression,
“Acting like you didn't kiss me few minutes ago”
“I…uhm, ehhh, I don't know what you're talking about”
“Of course you won't, little devil”
He finally pulled back and that's when I realized that it was my seatbelt that he helped me with,
“Do you want to listen to a song?”
“No, not really”
“Okay” He replied and ignited the car, I leaned back on the car seat staring through the window as we drove off. Throughout the ride none of us spoke to each other, minutes later I decided to steal a glance at him, immediately I turned to look at him I realized that he's been staring at me and we already got to the place.
“You can steal a glance when we get home, your friend is there waiting, and yeah thank him for the information” He winked, I glared at him and angrily came down from the car, I saw Charles already waiting for me
“Cutie pie…..!” I yelled, immediately he turned and saw me, his face was replaced with a smile, he did his little cute run towards me, I could tell that he missed me even though he's been avoiding me,
“Taylor” He jumped into my arms hugging me, I laughed and smiled
“Thought you were nervous to see me?”
“Hmmm, and that's why I'm overly excited cause I don't know how to act right now, it's okay but that's doesn't mean I'm not going to scold you for that”
He pouted cutely,
“Did he drive you here?” Charles asked, staring at something behind me, I turned and saw Liam still parked there, I glared at him and that's when he whined up his car window and drove off.
I turned to Charles and he was giving me the puppy look, I smile and gently held his hand as we began walking
“How have you been?”
“School is stressful but it's always fun going to Ajumeoni's shop, at least I meet lots of people and my stress goes away at the end of the day”
“It's good, I would like to come by sometime and join you in serving food”
“Really?” His eyes lit up in excitement
“Of course”
“Awww grandma will be so happy if she hears that”
We have been walking for sometime and spotted a long bench by the road side,
“Let's sit over there” I said to Charles as we got there and sat down,
Silence fell and I could tell Charles was nervous now I understand why he act excited whenever he's never, you can read him like an open book, I smile gently and held his hand squeezing it in a reassuring manner
“Charles?”
“Hmmm?” His eyes are so innocent right now, looking at him I feel that I've seen someone more innocent than I am.
“I'm not mad”
“Huh?”
“I'm not angry that you told Liam about Kelly and I, okay I admit I'm a little bit mad but not to that extent that you think”
“Are you sure?” His voice was soothing
“Hmm, I just want to know why you would tell anyone about it, so will you tell me what happened?”
“I will” He said sincerely,
