It was a busy Thursday night Ajumeoni had so many customers and we have been busy nonstop, i sighted Ajumeoni countlessly stretching her shoulder, I wish there's a way I could decide myself into two so Ajumeoni could rest, we continue serving and the customers and thankfully after what seems like an hour later the customers reduced and Ajumeoni could finally rest, I hurried to where Ajumeoni was about to carry a try of food to serve some customers
“Ajumeoni (grandma), let me take it you can rest”
“No, no, I know you are tired too don't worry I'll be fine okay”
“Ajumeoni, I'm still young, you can rest your waist while I serve the customers don't worry they are not much and besides we are going to close soon, you can rest I promise I'll be fine”
“Thank you dear” She smiled at me and patted my shoulder as she went and sat down, I carried on with the rest of the servings even though I was tired, and by the time we were done for the day I was feeling numb and tired, I helped Ajumeoni in closing for the day and wave her goodbye as she went home, standing in front of the store and staring into space, I felt so tired and my body feels numb, I didn't come with my car today and that's because I did not expect we are going to have a lot of customers today, and now I have missed the last bus and have to walk back home, I can easily order Uber but I just wanted to walk back I have a lot on my mind but I'm excited that tomorrow is going to be a fun day I'm going to be going with Taylor to the basketball championship match, I cannot wait.
I hadn't taken three steps when a car stopped right before me I wanted to ignore the car and walk away but then the door opened and it was no other person but Ethan,
“Get in I'm going to give you a ride back home” I ignored him and tried walking away,
“If you don't want your loving grandma to lose her store then you better get into the car right now”
Immediately I heard that, my legs froze, I balled my fist in anger, why does he keep on messing with me just because he thinks he could, fuck he's pissing me off, I turned around and without saying any other words to him I angrily opened the car door and got in.
