Ever since I walked in on Liam making food and he said it's for the both of us, I've not stopped smiling, my joy was over the place, it's feels like Liam is finally starting to care about me now, does that mean that he's starting to accept me, I know saying like is a big word so for now I could only hope that he's starting to accept me. I don't know if it's because of my joy but my weekend passed by so quickly and it's finally Monday which means another day of school of course, and on this day I woke up so early to make snack for Liam and I, cause the other day he tried cooking for the both of us so I thought I should do something to appreciate him.
I was done making the snack so I put it in the fridge before going upstairs to go get ready for school, I made sure to use all my scented soap while bathing, I even had to wash my hair to smell nice, and by the time I walked out of the bathroom I was smelling so sweet like Rose water, I dried my hair and straightened my blonde which gave me a totally different look, all these because I want Liam to see me in a good way, and since we already started talking I want to make a good impression, I can't wait to see how he'll react to the snack I made, I can't believe I woke up by 3am just to make him this snack.
I finished getting ready and took a glance at myself in the mirror and I was sure looking extraordinary beautiful today, that's no doubts, I took my bag and left my room cause it's time to present the snack to Liem, gosh I'm so nervous, I left my room and made my way to the kitchen and the snack was already cold I could hear Liam voice with that of his friends from here.
I gently carried out the snack and carefully package it in a box cause he might decided to have it in school and now it's time for me to go give the snack to Liam, I was nervous but I kept on telling myself that I can do it, he's talking to me now and there's nothing to be afraid of, so I left the kitchen and made my way to the living room, on getting there it turned out he was getting ready to leave with his friends
“Liam?” I called for his attention and he looked at me, his two friends were both there standing and staring at me, my heart was beating so fast as I walked up to Liam and stretch forth the snack to him
“What's this?” He asked with a not so happy face,
“Oh it's a snack I made for you” I muttered blushing so hard, he picked up the flask and looked at it, he didn't even open it, and just when I thought he was going to accept it, he intentionally let go off the flask and fell to the ground and everything shattered
“Yooo…..” Ethan his friend made the sound
“Since when did we become close that you're making me this trash?” He pointed at the snack I put my all into making, it felt like my heart shattered with the flask, looking at my heart shape snack that has now broken into two, I sniffled back my tears, and was about to bent down and pick them when someone suddenly grabbed my hand stopping me, I gently turned and was surprised to see it's Kelly
“Kelly?” I called in surprise
“I'm here Pookie” He gave me a warm smile, and slowly bent as he picked the snack and put them back into the flask
“It's already messed up” I whispered gently
“So what if it's messed up, if he doesn't want it then I do, you made this heart for him right, he rejected it then I'm accepting it, now wipe those tears cause your face is too pretty for them” He teased making me giggle, I blushed so hard as he wipe my tears, he knows how to brighten my mood,
“Hm, hm” Eden, cleared his throat, and that's when I realized that Liam and his friends has been staring at us the whole time, but I couldn't care less, I was mistaken to think that he has changed for a minute, someone that didn't speak to me for two years cannot just change out of the blue, in fact he can never change, I was wrong for a moment.
“Thank you so much” I said to Kelly
“Anything for you my lady, are you ready for school so we can leave?”
“Sure” I smile,
“Come here” He held my hand, and I could see him glare at Liam
“Bye Taylor” Eden waved at me, as I left with Kelly, we got outside and Kelly gently opened the car door for me as I entered, he also entered through the driver's seat and we drove off.
“Are you okay?” Kelly asked on our way
“Sure” I nodded,
“Should I turn on the music?”
“If you want to but I'm fine
“Alright” He smiled, minutes later we got to school, and since we arrived so early, Kelly decided that we should head to the university eatery to go have some breakfast since he didn't have anything to eat in the morning and since I didn't eat I decided it was the perfect opportunity for us to go, so we made our way to the school canteen and I told Kelly to place order for the both of us, but I was surprised when the order arrived and it was just mine,
“What about yours I thought you're hungry?”
“Come on Pookie, have you forgotten about the snack?” He brought out the snack box waving it to my face,
“Are you seriously going to have that?”
“Of course, now I'm excited to taste the snack you made, I could tell you put a lot of effort into it”
I almost felt like crying seeing that someone actually appreciated me, honestly the rest of my university days would have been dark without Kelly,
“Hmmmmm, damn bestie this taste so good”
“Really?”
“Of course…”
“Let me see”
I took a small bite and tasted,
“Hmmmmm” My eyes widened seeing that the snack was actually good
“It was good, right?” He asked and I nodded happily,
“I told you, it's so good pookie, how did you learn it?”
“My mum, back then she used to make it for me, it was my favorite snack”
“Now I get to share it with you, am I the first person to taste your snack?”
“Hmm” I nodded vigorously
“Then I'm the luckiest person then” she winked,
“You are” I gave him a nudge, and began to eat,
“Pookie?”
“Hmmm, every basketball captain is expected to take a picture with a girl for the basketball team album of the year. I was wondering since you're my only female friend, will you please take a picture with me?”
I didn't think twice before replying
“Of course why not”
“Really, you will?”
“You're my best friend so yes of course”
“Muahhh pookie I swear you're the best” He blew me a kiss, for this I'm going to take you to meet my friends this evening,
“Really?”
“Hmmm, trust me you're going to like them they are all nice”
“I can't wait” I giggled happily, I'm finally achieving my goal, making friends and not just allowing my life to revive around Liam.
