Choosing Mr. Destiny - Chapter 10: Chapter 10

Connor's POV ^_^
It's been the thousandth time that I sighed tonight. And the millionth time that I turned on my bed in hopes of getting a much needed sleep. Annoyingly, after a few hours that I've been laying in bed, I still couldn't get even a minute of sleep.
Sighing once again, I stared up at my ceiling as the same thought flooded my mind.
Ash.
For some reason, I can't get him out of my head ever since I laid my eyes on him. There's just something about him that captivates me so much. Though I'm really not sure what it was considering the fact that I may also be physically attracted to him. I mean let's be honest here. Even a straight guy would appreciate his beauty. It's not something that is drastically eye catching or something that would turn heads right then and there, but a beauty that would surely gain everyone's attention.
I'd like to say, he's an eye candy in a very cute way.
He had this kind of aura that tells me he had a really nice personality in which I was also able to prove right after I met him. Also, in that short time that I was able to have a little talk with him, I noticed some small things like his calm and composed self. He had this quiet side as well as a goofy side that I was able to enjoy. Also, he had this side that I'm really excited to see more, which was him being hella sassy.
Not to mention his physical traits. Let me tell you ,he had the nicest and most attractive smile that I have ever seen. The most captivating and luring eyes in a human being. And the heart melting laugh that I have ever heard in my entire life. Also worth mentioning is how cute his name is. And how it f*cking fits him so damn well.
I'm gonna give his parents two thumbs up for that. And for creating such beautiful angel.
Shaking my head, I let out another sigh as I stopped myself from going deeper in thought with Ash stuck in my head.
Now I don't want to go to fantasizing now, do I? It would be too embarrassing since I barely knew the person and here I am trying to rip his clothes off in my head. Though it would be a real sight to see but considering the fact that he can still be a minor made everything a little messed up. Well at least for me, that is.
Groaning to my own thoughts, I once again turned on my bed trying to be comfortable. Even though I already am.
I just want to get him out of my head so I can get some sleep. He's been all that I can think of since I decided to head to bed. And now, it's been a few hours and here I am, still wide awake. Isn't he tired of running in full speed yet?
Also, now that I thought about it, let's just pray that he's in the right age. Because I will admit it now, I have a huge growing crush towards him. And if I find out he's a minor then I will ask Ashley Rose to slap me across the face.
Thankfully, I'm not doing any advancements towards him. Because if I did without knowing his real age, I would surely die. I don't want to be a f*cking pedophile for f*cks sake.
Sighing in frustration, I sat up on my bed and rubbed my hands on my face. I'm not getting any sleep anyway so might as well get up and be a little productive. I blinked as I cleared my eyesight and took my phone from the bedside table. I opened, unlocked it, and I saw a message from Ashley Rose. I sat on the edge of my bed and turned the lamp on.
I haven't really noticed that she texted me. I shrugged and opened the message.
"Guess what, Ashley Dale said yes on our little adventure to the lake tomorrow." The message said after I clicked it open. And damn, I freaking fell on my bed and landed on the floor with a thud.
Stupid message. I grumbled under my breath.
Now my ass hurts.
I stood up from the floor and sat back up on the edge of my bed. Groaning, I looked at the time stamp on the message and saw that it was sent at ten in the evening.
And holy f*cking sh*t, Ashley Dale said yes. He f*cking said yes! Now I feel like I just won the lottery. Heck to the yeah!
I'm not even ashamed of smiling like a damn lunatic right now. I'm just beyond happy.
My future babe will be joining us tomorrow! Why wouldn't I be smiling? That is one hell of a good news.
I better prepare for tomorrow and maybe I should start some subtle moves on making Ashley Dale mine. Nothing too overly dramatic or anything. Just smooth sailing as what I like to call it. Patience is a virtue. After all, If I want to catch the fish that I want, I have to be very patient and do it slowly and in the correct way.
Nodding to myself, I smiled when Ash's gorgeous face popped in my head.
I have to remind myself to be as slow as possible when it comes to him. Because by the looks of it, Ash looks like the type of person that gets overwhelmed easily. He seemed so innocent that you would want to hurt anyone who even dares to lay a hand on him.
So with that in mind, I have to be as smooth as silk if possible. I probably won't approach him and directly ask him to go on a date with me because that's just over the top and surely, it will overwhelm him. Maybe going to the path where I'll ask him if he wanted to hang-out with me is the best way to go. And if then he agrees, then everything will go from there.
If I'm being honest, I'm very confident to say that I will surely get Ashley Dale to be mine in no time. Even with the little competition I had as I fought for Ash, I'm positive I'll get to win him over.
Not to sound like a total jerk or anything, but I believe that I can and I have what it takes to win Ash over.
Now with that said, let's get this 'Operation making Ash mine' mission going, shall we?
I laid back down on my bed with a smile on my face. Tomorrow if given a chance, I'll talk to Ash privately. Ask him if he wanted to hang out with me. Explore the town or maybe possibly give me a little tour. Just a friendly hang out at first until we manage to get to know each other more. And once he's comfortable enough with me, then I'll make a move on telling him what my intentions are.
And as I thought deeper and deeper about it, it made me think that maybe it'll work. Considering the fact that he looked like a person who's too innocent in some things, especially when it comes to dating. So I guess going to the safe path would be a good idea. Just take things slowly so I won't scare him away.
In all honesty, I'm not even worried with having a little competition towards Ash. I mean yeah, Jacob may slow things down when it comes to me making moves towards Ash, but don't you think a little head on fight would be fun? Though Jacob may be too young to be a real threat to me, I still can't deny the fact that he's still very capable of showing off and giving me a good fight.
But who am I kidding. No matter how intense the competition goes, Ash will still end up being with me. As conceited as it may sound.
Truth hurts but sadly, that's the truth.
My mind was kind of busy with all this thoughts when my alarm clock blared, effectively snapping me out of my own world. I blinked and reached for the damn alarm clock and turned it off. I checked the time and saw it's seven in the morning.
Stupid alarm clock. I grumbled lowly under my breath. Whoever invented that obnoxious thing deserved to be killed multiple times. So F**king annoying.
The frowning face was immediately replaced with a smile when the thought of hanging out with Ash came to mind. Today I will grab every opportunity I can get when it comes to asking Ash to hang out with me. And hopefully, if the odds are in my favor, he'll say yes.
Damn, if you think about it, I'm already whipped because of a guy. And even though I know everything will be worth it if I get to have Ash in the end, I still can't get my head around the fact that I'm already wrapped into those little fingers of his. Willing to do everything he wishes to do without a second thought. And that itself is scary.
I mean, Is it wrong to like a person so much? Because at this very moment, I'm liking Ash maybe a bit too much that it started to scare the living daylights out of me. But hopefully, all of this will be worth it.
With Ash back in my thoughts, I stood up from my bed and went to my bathroom to do my morning routine. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw my hair all tussled and messy. But even in my bed hair, I can still say I do look good. I smiled before I ran my hand on my hair.
I've never been this centered towards someone before. And I've never really tried to pursue anyone even before I met Ash. But now that my eyes are solely locked on one specific person, I'm willing to do everything just to have him with me.
It sounds scary. But I know I'm doing the right thing. For once, I'm pursuing someone that makes me happy. For once, I can also get a taste of real happiness. And I know I'll be able to experience all those with Ash. As sappy and cheesy as it may sound, it's true.
Letting out a deep sigh, I looked at my reflection again. I stared at myself for a couple more seconds before finally finding the will to start my day by doing my morning routine. I grabbed the toothpaste and then took my toothbrush and placed a good amount of paste on top of it. And with that, I thoroughly brushed my teeth clean. After I finished toothbrushing, I went to the toilet and emptied my bladder. I looked down at my Connor Junior and smiled. I know this may sound crazy and too early to be thought about but, will Ashley be satisfied with my Connor junior down south? To be honest, I have it big and the thought of hurting him while I slowly push into his entrance worried me. Although, I know that part of our relationship is still far ahead since I'm only starting my moves on him, but I can't help but think about it.
I smirked at myself.
Oh what I would give to feel myself buried deep inside him.
Okay now I'm getting a boner. Out of all the times to get one, it has to be now. Great!
Damn it. I have to calm Connor Junior down. It's clearly not the right time to stand tall and proud since our future babe is not here to give you all the attention. But hopefully in the future.
Anyway, after finishing in the bathroom, I walked back to my bedroom and prepared for our little get together to the lake. I went to my kitchen to prepare some simple snacks and took out some soft drinks and also a can or two of beer for myself. Then placed it on a cooler while the food are neatly placed on a basket. When all of that are settled, I went back to my bedroom to get my swimming trunks. I need to wear my favorite swimwear so I can impress my future babe. I want him to see my body, and I want him to know that my body will be his to enjoy very soon.
Way to be a creeper? Sorry not sorry.
But anyways, I took out my blue swimming trunk that fits my body in all the right places. I tug it on and it did it's purpose very well. It hung low on my waist and it shows my V-line and well sculpted abs, as well as the happy trail leading to Connor junior. I turned to look at my reflection of myself on the mirror. I smirked and examined myself 'till I'm contented on my look. I may sound like a narcissist or anything but I am not, I'm just one of those people who's confident of their own body, but also not being too much.
When I was finally satisfied, I slid on a tank top and combed my hair a little bit. Then I grabbed my phone on the bedside table and unlocked it. I checked the time again and saw that it's almost nine o'clock. I opened my messaging app and typed a message to Ashley Rose.
"Hey Rose, are you ready?" I typed then sent it after.
"Hey Conny. Yep, I am ready. And oh, I'm bringing some friends with me. It's just Lea, Joseph and Breinard. They are Besty and I's friends. Is it fine?" She replied.
"Sure, it's fine with me. As long as Ashley Dale is there, I'm good." I replied back with a huge smile on my face.
"Uh huh, I am sure Besty will be there because he said yes. But don't get your hopes up too much Conny, because he's still over the moon with his date with Jacob last night. And oh, he said he invited him too." She replied and my jaw quickly tightened after reading her message.
Ash went on a date with that guy last night? And now he invited him today? Oh F**k, the jerk made a move before I can.
Well, so much for a happy outing.
But what ever. I won't let that guy Jacob affect and ruin my plans.
"Oh" Was all I replied back to her.
"Ayieeeee. Are you jealous?" She asked teasingly as her reply.
I frowned and scoffed. Me? Jealous? F*ck to the no.
"No. Why would I?" I replied defensively.
Okay, maybe just a little.
"Ayieee. Conny-boo is J.E.A.L.O.U.S because Besty went on a date with Jacob. We better talk more about this later, k? And you can't say no either." She replied and I nodded my head even though she can't see me.
I sighed. Not that I have any choice.
Fine. I admit it. I am jealous alright, and I will sure as hell going to show that bastard who he's competing with.
"Yeah, yeah, I'll be there in 10." I sent her a quick reply before I locked my phone and placed it inside my pocket.
I made my way to my car with a frown on my face. But before I can get there, my phone beeped again. I took out my phone and opened the message I received from Rose.
"Ayieee, Conny I know you're into something and you are going to tell me everything later, no buts. K see ya." She messaged me and I groaned.
Do I really have to tell her everything? She's not my freaking mother, and even if she's my mother I still won't tell her.
But knowing Rose, she won't stop bugging me about it until I spill it out to her. She's nosy and annoying sometimes, but I still love her, as a friend of course.
I didn't bother replying back this time as I locked my phone and placed it back in my pocket. I walked to my car and unlocked it. I placed the things I brought inside the trunk. After I was finished putting my stuff away, I went to the driver's side and hopped in. I started the car and drove towards Rose's place. After an exact 10 minutes of drive, I arrived and parked behind her car. She turned and waved at me. Then I turned the car's engine off and stepped out to meet her other friends. I waved back at her with a smile and Rose walked; or more like skipped, towards me.
"Hey Conny, how are you?" She said and pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back with a smile.
"I told you not to call me that in public, Rose." I told her still not pulling away from the hug. She giggled and I chuckled in response.
Her giggles are adorable as always.
"Don't worry Conny, they are my friends so you don't have to worry about them making fun of you." She said after she pulled away and gave me a genuine smile.
It's not that I'm bothered of them making fun of me because of the nickname Rose gave. I just think it's too childish for a guy.
But eh, to Hell with it. I could care less on what they think. As long as she is happy then I am happy. F**k what other people thinks.
I smiled at her softly. "I know Rose, I was just messing with you." I told her with a small chuckle. She giggled again before she turned to her friends and called them.
Her friends walked towards us who has names I remembered Lea, Joseph and Breinard if I'm not mistaken. The girl named Lea waved shyly at me and I winked at her, she looked away with pink cheeks making me let out another chuckle. The two guys said 'hey' to me and we did the bro hand shake. I told them that I already know their names since I did met them a few days ago. They nodded their heads at me with Lea still a blushing mess next to Joseph.
"Besty is with Jacob right now though. And I'm guessing he's going with him since he mentioned Jacob is taking his own car." She said while walking towards the driver's side of her car.
Great!
"Oh wait." She halted on her tracks before she turned back towards us. "You two, go carpool with Connor since you two are guys. Me and Lea are gonna have some girl time." She told her two guy friends before she hopped inside her car with Lea quickly getting in the passenger's side. The two guys turned to me and I raised a brow at their unsure looks.
"It's fine guys." I told them and they nodded.
"Cool." Joseph said.
And with that, we all hopped inside my car and headed to Ashley Dale's house.
Me along with the two guys made casual talks just to keep ourselves from being engulfed with awkwardness. The conversation wasn't that bad since I was able to get to know Ash's friends a little and I find them pretty okay and laid back. Over all, they seemed nice to be with.
After a short drive, we arrived infront of the Valdez's residence. I noticed a black Toyota SUV parked infront of the house. Must be his parent's car or one of his siblings. I stopped behind Rose's car who just stepped out. After putting my car on park, the guys and I stepped out as well.
Then out of the blue, my heart started beating a faster pace than normal.
Sh*t, why am I nervous all of a sudden?
And right on cue, the front door opened and out the person who my eyes are glued at.
He's wearing a simple above the knee denim-type shorts that fits his thighs very well. And he also had a plain purple shirt on paired with a black sun glasses. But what I noticed to be f*cking adorable is his cute lavender colored slippers, along with the same colored back pack on.
"Hey guys." He greeted with a bright smile.
"Hi, bobo bear. How was your night?" Rose asked.
Ash turned to Jacob who was standing close behind him.
"We both had so much fun." He beamed.
Well that stings.
Rose nodded enthusiastically. "That's great. I'm glad you two had fun." She said.
"So, are you guys ready?" He asked. "Cause Jacob and I had all our stuff in the car. We're just waiting for you guys to get here."
"I guess we are." She said before turning to me. "Are you guys ready?"
I answered her question with a single nod.
"Okay great." Ash said happily.
"Cool. So now that you're ready, and we're all ready. It's freaking go time."Rose exclaimed excitedly as she turned towards her Car.
Ash laughed at his best friend. "Yep! It's go time." He said with a chuckle.
Jacob guided Ash towards the passenger side of his car. But before they get there, Ash stopped in his tracks.
"Hold on. I think I forgot my phone on the couch. Wait, I'll go get it." He said after checking his pockets and started to make his way back to his house, but Jacob stopped him. I narrowed my eyes at Jacob's hands holding Ash's arm.
"No, you can get in the car and I'll go get your phone." Jacob said sweetly I almost scoffed out loud.
"No, it's fine Jacob. I can get it myself." Ash insisted with a smile but his arm was still being held by Jacob.
"It's fine, babe." Jacob said nicely with a smile.
What the hell!
I think something in me just snapped because of what I've heard, which had me feeling so pissed of than before.
He called Ash his Babe?
That's just great!
The game is on indeed. And I sure a hell going to give him the fight he's asking for.
He sighed with a shake of his head. "Your stubbornness can be on another level sometimes Jacob, it's impossible." Ash said in a teasing manner causing for Jacob to chuckle.
"You'll get used to it." He replied with a wink.
And with that, he went back to the house to get Ash's phone.
After glaring daggers towards Jacob, I stepped inside my car with the two guys already sitting on the back with identical smirks plastered both on their faces.
"What?" I asked with a raised brow as I looked at them on the rear view mirror.
They turned to each other and their smirks turned to grins.
What is up with these two? They're being total wierdos.
They turned back to me with the same grin on their faces which had looking at them in confusion.
"You like our little Ash, don't you?" Joseph asked me with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes.
So it's obvious? Well then it's not my fault. Ash is just too irresistible.
"Yeah I do. And I will make him mine really soon before that bastard can." I said confidently while nodding my head to Jacob who just stepped out of the house. After I put the keys in, I quickly started the car's ignition.
"Oh. Straightforward, I like it." Joseph said. "But do realize that once you hurt our little Ash, you will be dealing with us. Especially Ashley Rose since she's the most protective of him. She can seriously do some serious damage so you better listen and be very careful." He said with a hint of death threat on his voice.
Yeah, I know better not to piss Ashley Rose off because she can be a real monster once she's at it and it's a pretty scary scene to see. So yeah, Ashley Rose possibly turning into a monster duly noted.
"Don't worry guys. You can beat me up to death as much as you want once I did hurt your little Ash." I said determinedly and confidently with a smile. I looked at them on the rear view mirror and saw them still smirking.
What a bunch of Weirdos.
"You better be." Breinard said. "Because Ashley Rose will surely salvage your body once you hurt our precious little Ash." He added and I smirked. I already know that, and I know I will never hurt Ash. And even if I did hurt him, I will be the one to punish myself for doing such a thing.
After a 30 minute drive, we finally arrived at the lake. I hopped out of my car and stretch out my stiff muscles for a bit. I looked around and I must say, it really is a breath taking place to be. The lake was clear and the water was shimmering with the sun shining above us with only a few clouds visible. The air was fresh which made the feel of being with nature ten times more relaxing.
As a cool breeze washed over me, I sighed deeply. I'm sure I'll be enjoying myself today. Well other than the fact that Jacob is here, just knowing and seeing Ash with us was more than enough to lift my mood up.
I turned to the two other cars parked in-front and saw Rose grabbing the things that she brought. She walked towards the lake and placed a towel that was wide enough for two people to fit and placed it under the shade.
I took out my things, along with the food, and placed it next to where Rose was. I went back to my car and took out my bag from the passenger's seat before I closed the door and locked it. When I was about to head back to where the guys were, I saw Jacob pulling Ash towards the lake. I stared at their linked hands and I instantly felt my own slowly turning into fists.
I know I don't have the right to be jealous considering the fact that Ash and I aren't together, but I just can't help it. Even the smallest gestures he does towards Ash, stings like a b*tch.
I sighed as I turned away from staring at their linked hands and went towards Rose.
After setting my things down, I took my shirt off since I was already wearing my swimming trunks.
"You okay?" Rose asked.
I turned to her. "Yeah. Why? What made you think I'm not?"
She shrugged while applying sun screen on her face.
"That frown you had on your face told me something was up." She said.
I gave her a forced smile.
"I'm fine Rose. Just a bit tired, that's all."
She nodded her head as she placed the sunscreen bottle inside her bag.
"Okay." She said, dropping the subject. "Well then, today's your day to relax."
I sat down on the towel I laid before turning to her.
"Yup. And that's what I'm going to do." And with that, I put on my sunglasses and enjoyed the sunlight.
I'm starting to enjoy this place to be honest, even though Jacob and Ash were sitting a few feet away while talking and laughing.
Secretly glancing towards their way, I watched through my sun glasses how Ash laughed, how he smile so beautifully and genuinely, and how he looked so extremely breathtaking.
It makes me wonder how can someone be looking so flawless and beautiful.
He looked like an angel straight from heaven with how his skin glowed under the sunlight. He was such a sight to behold that my eyes felt blessed.
There was just something about Ashley Dale that makes me turn my full attention to him. I don't know him that much or even at all, but I just feel like he is the one for me. I don't know if I believe in soul-mates but with the way I deeply feel for him, I really do think I found mine.
When I saw him for the first time at the park, I knew that he will be the last person I want to be with and grow old with.
To be honest, I've been with different guys and girls, and most of them were one night stands and only a few were short relationships.
But when my eyes landed on Ash, I saw a glimpse of something wonderful, our future together.
Sounds cheesy or cliché right? But it's true.
When I first saw him I just know that he will be my lifetime partner. The person I'd marry and spend my lifetime with.
Honestly, I never thought of myself being in a serious relationship. Not even once did it occur to me that I'm going to be this hooked towards someone. But with Ash, everything changed. With him, I want to spend my whole life and make every second of it worth remembering as we grow old.
I sighed because of where my thoughts were going again.
See? Ash have that kind of effect on me. He makes me a complete different person that I wasn't even familiar myself.
I sighed once more.
I tried to redirect my eyes towards the lake and be amazed of it's beauty, but for some reason, my eyes always find it's way back to Ash. I just can't get enough of him. He's beautiful both on the inside and on the outside. Even a blind person would know that Ash is great person.
Rose would always tell me great things about her Besty. That Ash is the nicest, calmest, cutest, and kindest person she knows. And even without her telling me, I kind of known he have those kinds of traits.
Rose also told me a lot of stuff going on with her and her best friend. Some, not so great.
She told me that Ash was sometimes being taken advantage because of how forgiving he is. He never holds a grudge towards others and sometimes that brings him the downside.
He was indeed an angel being surrounded by sharped horned demons walking all throughout the face of the earth. But even with that fact, his kindness didn't change nor falter.
Rose also mentioned about a recent bullying that happened with Ash involved. She said this guy already bullied Ash in the past but didn't learn his lesson. And thankfully, with the principal stepping in, the issue was resolved quickly, with the bully being expelled from the school.
I would have punched the life out that jock other than expelling him.
He deserved it more than anyone, anyway.
Not to mention, when I found out that guy made a bruise on my little angel. I was livid and was about to throw a punching frenzy on that guy's face. Thankfully, I didn't know where he lived or else he would have spent a month in the hospital.
I don't even care if I end up in jail. Like I said, that guy deserves it more than anyone else.
I mean who in their right mind would hurt such innocent person like Ash? I won't.
Rose always manage to fill me in with things about Ash everytime his name was being brought up, and I can't help but be intrigued on who really Ash is. That's why I'm very determined to know him even more, now that I had the chance. I wanted to make use of this opportunity to be able to hang out with him and enjoy each others company. I wanted to savour every second I get to spend with Ash because I know it will be the best feeling of all. I also wanted to be straight forward and tell him what my intentions are, but I didn't want Ash to think that I was taking things too fast. If he wanted it to be in his own pace then so be it, as long as he's happy.
Rose mentioned that Ash has never been in a relationship before, even with a girl. So as much as posible, I want to take things as slow as a slug, if that's what he wants.
When my body betrayed my brain again, I turned to where Ash and Jacob were sitting.
But what I saw was definitely something I didn't expect at all. But I'm not complaining.
I mean, why would I?
With Ash taking his shirt off and showing me his silky smooth skin, I wouldn't ask for anything better than that. He was such a dream that even my lower region would highly agree. As perverted as that may sound.
With pouty lips, Ash handed his shirt to Rose who's carrying a bunch of clothes in her right hand, that I guess was meant for Ash. But by the looks of it, those clothes would be a size larger that Ash's normal ones.
Wait, hold on. Where did that bastard Jacob went?
Oh well atleast he's gone.
Ash stood there with his upper body free from clothing. Rose gave him a white shirt one size bigger and quickly, Ash wore it as fast as he can.
I noticed he's not very fond of showing too much skin, seeing how he tries to cover his exposed upper body as much as possible. I figured he's very conservative, which is very adorable.
I'm actually quite surprised. With a body like his, I'm stunned he's not showing it off. I mean, his body is definitely worth drooling for.
But who am I to judge his conservativeness. It's his preference, not mine.
Though to be honest, I'm kind of glad he's the way he is, conservative. Because I wouldn't want anyone else feasting on his body when Ash is finally mine.
Once Ash had the shirt Rose gave him, it easily fell to his shoulder and mid thighs. The large shirt complimented his sexy sun-kissed skin so well, I must say.
"You happy now?" Ash mumbled as he motioned to himself. Rose shook her head much to Ash's annoyance.
She then showed him a purple bikini briefs in which Ash quickly insisted on wearing as he shook his head.
Though I'm sure it would look good on him, I can't say anything to force him to wear it. If he's not comfortable with it then why force him?
"You've got to be kidding me Ashley Rose." He said while eyeing the sexy clothing in horror. "I am not wearing that thing. Can't you see I'm not comfortable with those kinds of stuff? I thought you knew that?" Ash said while crossing his arms on his chest making the shirt fall even further down his shoulder showing his neck that had my mouth salivating.
Oh f*ck. I seriously need a grip right now.
"I know Ash, but you still won't be showing too much skin." She insisted. "See that shirt you're wearing? I made it too big for you so it would reach your thighs and still cover you well. So I figured wearing this won't be an issue." Rose said while showing Ash the bikini briefs.
A frown formed on Ash's face making him more f*cking adorable. Then he shook his head 'no', clearly not buying what his best friend told him.
"No way, I'm not wearing that and you can't make me. If you force me into that kind of swimwear then I'm not going swimming." Ash said stubbornly with a pout that I can't help but smile myself.
"Well what about you wear this instead. I brought some extra just to make sure, you know, you'll look hella sexy." Lea said as she showed a sexy girly shorts (a very short, shorts), that I bet would fit Ash very well.
"Ohh, that'll do." Rose exclaimed excitedly. "Wait, you brought extra? So you mean you're on your period?" She whispered as she stared at the clothing Lea had on her hands.
"What? Of course not, my period has been gone for almost three days now." Lea said in a hushed voice.
But I was sure the other guys heard her since I heard a snort. I turned to the guys and saw Joseph's face turning red from preventing himself laughing out loud, while Breinard had his bottom lip locked between his teeth as he busied himself on his phone, acting oblivious.
"Okay good. I don't want the lake turning red because of that." Rose teased. "But anyways, this would be a much better choice for you Ash, since you don't like the bikini one." Rose said while showing him the girly shorts. Ash eyed Rose and the shorts warily then he sighed.
"Fine, just for you to shut up." He said before snatching the shorts from Rose's hands. "Now leave me in peace. The two of you." He said as he sent playful glares towards his best friend and Lea.
Then he took off his own denim-styled, above the knee shorts, and damn, Ash's thighs and legs are definitely drool worthy.
Don't forget his ass.

Damn, I really need to stop right now before I embarass myself infront of everyone. And not to mention he's still a minor. I could get myself in huge trouble for all these nasty thoughts.
But can you blame me? It's Ash, for pete's sake.
As he was slowly putting the girly shorts on, I had to say I had a good peek on the briefs he's wearing. And as expected, it's color purple.
I see that he likes that color very much, probably his favorite.
When he was done, he stood up straight as Rose and Lea examined him like the fashion gurus that they are. While Ash stood their with a raised brows meant for his friends.
Once satisfied, the girls both nodded their heads and gave Ash wide smiles. Then they walked back to their spot where a towel was placed under a shade.
Ash shook his head before sitting back down on the sand and took out something from his bag. He then squished a good amount of what I guess was Sunblock into his hand and applied it on his thighs, legs, arms, and face. When he was done applying equal amounts of it on his body, he placed the sunblock back in his bag.
I turned my attention back to the lake, since we all know that staring too much is not nice; though I stared way too much already, and we all know that it creeps people out. Even with the urge to just stare at him all day was very prominent, I decided not to.
I've been a creeper enough for one day already. Maybe it's best to save some for tomorrow and for the other days.
I was snapped out of my mind when Rose called Ash. I turned my head towards them to see what they were up to, but mainly because I wanna stare at Ash.
"Besty, come on, let's go swimming." Rose said cheerfully to Ash who was sitting under the shade with a book in his hand.
Ash looked up. "Huh? Oh uhm, Sure." Rose and Lea pulled him up and the three of them head straight to the cool water.
"Hey, where is Jacob anyway?" Lea asked while looking around as Rose nodded and went for a quick dip.
"Oh, he's right there, infront of his car. His dad called him and he said it's important." Ash said with a shrug.
Lea nodded her head as Rose broke out of the water.
"Omg the water feels so refreshing." Rose exclaimed as she splashed some water towards Ash.
"I can feel it Besty. I'm clearly standing in it." Ash replied back sassily causing for Lea to snort and for me to let out a quiet chuckle.
"Don't give me that sass, you dork." Rose stated as she splashed some water towards Ash again.
Ash laughed and splashed back some towards Rose. And just like that, a splashing spree broke off.
I sat there watching Ash closely, though it's kind of obvious that he knows how to swim, but just in case.
Yeah, I'm paranoid that way. Sue me.
I watched how the wet white shirt Ash was wearing clung to his body like a second skin, and how his black hair falls to his forehead as water starts dripping from it. He looked freaking sexy as hell that I can't take my eyes off of him. It was indeed a nice view in such a nice place.
After 15 minutes, the two guys decided to join the girls and Ash in swimming. And multiple times, Rose would call me to go and join them, but I decline and say that I'll join them soon.
I was enjoying on watching them have fun so I decided to stay dry and give them the lake all to themselves. Also, I decided to stay dry and be the look out just in case something happens, though I know it's unlikely.
"The water won't wait for you Connor." Rose called after 15 minutes. "Come on, we're about to play a game." She insisted and I finally gave in.
I slowly made my way into the water and went next to Rose who's a little farther away from the group. The two guys, Lea and Ash were playing tag in the water, and Ash was being chased by Joseph. It was fun to watch how Ash struggle to swim away from Joseph and how he tries to maneuver his way through the water.
"Thought you would never join us and just pass on this cool water." Rose said while looking up at me with a mischievous smile.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." I said as I waved her off.
"Anyway, what are you planning to do about dating Ash?" She asked with curiousity gazing her voice.
"Plan what?" I answered playing innocent and all that sh*t.
"Don't play dumb Conny, or I'll smack you on the head." She said sternly.
I sighed knowing she would continually bug me about it until she gets the answer she needed.
I sighed. "Well, I was planning to go his way. Just take things slow the way he wants it, I guess. I'll probably ask him if he wants to hang out with me or something." I told Rose while watching Ash play with his friends.
"But you do realize that Jacob is advancing, right?" She said in which I nodded my head.
"Yeah. I do realize that." I responded back making her look at me with a raised brow.
"And are you planning to keep that slow pace seeing as your competition is going way ahead of you?" She asked.
"Well I do have a plan prepared. I just don't want to overwhelm him if I did." I reasoned out which caused for her to shake her head.
"Believe me, with the both of you clearly showing intentions of wanting to date him, I'm sure he's already overwhelmed. But I guess he's just being good at handling it that's why you can't tell if he's overwhelmed or not." She stated as I listened.
"Do you really think so?"
She smiled. "I know my best friend. I will know if everything is being too much for him."
I nodded.
I didn't reply. Just hummed and stared at Ash who was still occupied by playing tag with his friends.
"You really like my best friend, don't you?" She asked with a smile.
I averted my gaze from Ash towards Rose and gave her a genuine smile. "Yeah. I really do."
I'm not going to deny it when it's very obvious anyway.
"So what's your move then?" She asked curiously.
I smirked at her. "You'll see."
She raised her eyebrows at that. "You're not going to ask him to choose between you and Jacob, are you?" She asked with a furrowed brows.
I shrugged. "It's an inevitable stage that he has to go through, Rose. So if it's the right time that he had to choose between me and Jacob, I'll make him choose." I stated.
She only nodded her head at me and I'm thankful she's not pushing the subject even furthur.
We stood there both watching as Ash played tag with the guys and Lea.
"Hey no fair. You always target me all the time." Ash whined for the tenth time as he pouted.
I chuckled at his childishness that only made him even more adorable.
"Yeah I know that, but you're really fun to chase that's why." Joseph said with a huge grin.
"Jerk! Why don't you chase Lea or Breinard instead." Ash whined again as he splashed Joseph. Breinard stood a couple of meters away from them with Lea standing behind him.
"They're too much work. I'd rather chase you cause you have those cute little legs rather than spend so much energy on either Lea or Breinard." Joseph reasoned out in which caused for Ash to send death glare his way.
"Hey Joseph, give Besty a break. Go chase someone else." Rose interfered with a chuckle.
"I will if the both of you join us." Joseph said to Rose. Then Rose turned to me with a raised brow.
"That still doesn't make any difference. I'm still the shortest one in here." Ash said as he folded his arms on his chest.
Damn adorable I tell you.
"What do you think? Are you in?" She asked with a cheeky smile.
"Yeah sure, count me in." I stated loud enough for all of them to hear.
"But uhm, uh you guys won't chase me right?" Ash asked adorably.
"Hmm depends." I replied him with a smile but my head had something else to say otherwise. Something along the line "I will chase you cause you're mine" and "I will get you because you are only mine." Yeah. Somewhere between those.
"But why me again?" Ash cried as he slowly cower away.
"Okay, who is 'it' this time?" Rose asked and Lea slightly raised her hands and she gestured to not tell the guys who were standing in front of her. Sneaky!
"Where the heck is Lea?" Joseph asked, too oblivious that Lea was behind Breinard.
Then Lea cleared her throat.
"Oh sh*t." Breinard cussed.
"Tag! your it." She tapped Breinard and swam away. We all scattered and I looked for Ash who was swimming away as well. Too far for my liking to be honest.
"Ah sh*t." Breinard muttered then turned his attention to Ash who's eyes instantly widen.
"Ha! I'm all the way here suckers. You can't catch me." Ash yelled as he kept advancing away farther and farther.
"Ash don't go too far. You might encounter the Loch ness monster in there." Breinard joked.
"Qué dijiste?" He exclaimed as he looked around before frowning.
"Nice try Brei. But try harder." He said while slowly moving closer towards the shore.
We all laughed. God! Don't tell me he believes in those myths.
"Aww. Are you scared Ashy-boo?" Joseph cooed which he earned a glare from Ash.
"No." He replied.
Breinard chuckled. "Then where are you going?"
Ash turned to him.
"I'm just gonna....... never mind, it's none of your business." Ash said.
We laughed again.
"Hey Brei, Tag me!" I asked him quietly.
He looked at me with question.
"You'll see." I stated before he can ask. And with that, he tagged me.
And with the brilliant plan in mind, I quietly creeped and swam my way towards Ash as he himself made his way towards the shore.
I tried to be stealthy as possible as I swam under the water heading towards Ash. With him not noticing me one bit and with me being more agile than him, I took one breath once he was in reach as I swam under. When I saw an outline of him, I quickly grabbed him by his waist causing for him to let out a loud shriek as I resurfaced. I shook the water out my face and took hold of Ash by his waist as I started laughing.
"The Loch ness monster is real! Help!" Ash shouted with his eyes tightly closed.
"It's just me Ash. Relax." I soothed him.
"Help! The Loch ness can talk!" He kept shouting and there I decided to spin him around in order for him to face him.
"It's okay. It's just me." I reassured but he was still slightly shaking.
After sinking it in that it was indeed me. His scared feature turns to glare.
"Oh you jerk! That was not funny!" He said as he smacked me in the chest.
I kept my hold on his waist as he continued on with his chain of death threats.
"Scaring someone is not nice you freaking jerk! Ugh!" He smacked my chest again in which didn't even do anything to me.
I just stared at him with wide grin.
"I thought I was going to have a heart attack, you butt head. I swear to god I could have drowned you." He continued and I kept grinning at him like a love sick puppy.
"I wanna skin you alive right now." He yelled as he growled at me.
"Are you done?" I asked once he quieted down while breathing heavily.
"Yes." Was all he said, making me smile.
"You're adorable." I told him in which he raised a brow.
"Yeah right. Me freaking out was definitely adorable." He said sassily.
Jacob's POV
As I took the call, I talked to Dad about my broken car. I talked to him about what is needed to be done, fixed, cleaned, and replaced. Dad told me he will get someone, a friend of his, to go fix my car. I thanked him after he told me he'll pay for the repairs and all. He also said that we'll talk about it more after I get home. After that, I ended the call and headed back to the lake and saw everyone already swimming.
I quickly looked for Ash and saw him beside Connor who was looking down at him with a soft smile. Then my jealousy spiked up tenfold and my possessiveness kicked in. I quickly slid off my shirt and quickly made my way towards Ash. I sneak my way to him since his back was facing me. I slowly walked towards him even with the water getting in the way and making my stealth mode weaker. When I was a good distance from him, I slowly snaked my arms around his waist making him jump. I quickly hugged him and told him it was me, and he visibly relaxed. On the other hand, Connor had his intense glare towards me.
"So how did the call with your dad went?" He asked as I rest my chin on his shoulder.
"It was fine, he asked about my car since it broke a few days ago. He told me he'll get someone to fix it." I said with my arms still possessively wrapped around his curvy waist.
He turned to look at me with a confused face. "So that car isn't yours?" He asked referring to the SUV we drove here.
"Nope, that's my dad's car. He let me borrow it since he doesn't have work or errands to attend today." I told him with a smile.
He nodded his head. "Oh uh, what is your dad's work?" He asked curiously.
I smiled. "He's a supervisor at a mall in town." I told him honestly and he nodded his head again. Then he turned his attention back to his friends who were talking about something.
I leaned down and kissed Ash's neck and he shivered again with a giggle.
"Wahh Jacob stop that, I told you, I'm ticklish." He said with a giggle.
"I know, but I love hearing your laughs and giggles." I told him while burying my nose on his neck and he giggled once again. After pulling away, I stood straight, but not without my arms wrapped around his shoulders.
"You really are wierd." He said with a small chuckle.
"And that I know." I told him and he chuckled again.
I took a glance at Connor and saw his jaws tight and I was able to sense jealousy radiating off of him.
Yeah that's right, be jealous because I have Ash and you don't.
I smirk to myself and kissed Ash on the side of his head.
We went swimming for few more minutes before we decided to go on break and eat some snacks.
When I was about to get a drink, I remembered I still have the cooler inside the car.
"Hey babe." I called towards Ash.
He turned to me with chips in his hands.
"Yeah?"
"I forgot the cooler in the car, I'll just go get it real quick." I said.
He nodded his head. "Okay."
"Do you need anything from the car?" I asked so I didn't have to come back for a second trip just in case he does want something.
"I'm good." He said before he continued eating.
With that, I went to the back of the car. I unlocked it, and opened the door. Thank the heavens, the small cooler was there. I went to grab it and closed the door. I locked the car again and headed back to Ash with the cooler in hand. But before I get there, I saw Connor talking to Ash. I glared at Connor as irritation crept it's way towards me.
I gently placed the cooler down and eavesdropped on what they were talking about. And since there were a lot of trees around, I was completely hidden from their view.
"I was just going to ask you if you want to go hang out with me?" Connor asked Ash with a hopeful expression on his face.
My glare at him deepened as I stood hidden behind the tree.
Ash raised his eyesbrows at him. "Oh uhm I-I'll think a-about it." He said a bit unsure but gave him a smile nonetheless.
"Alright. Once you decided, just tell me." He said. "We can just hang out and get to know each other, or if you want, you can give me a tour around town. Whichever fits for you." He added with a sickeningly sweet smile.
Ash nodded his head in thought.
"Yeah that sounds good." He spoke. "But I'll think about it. And I'd have to ask Jacob if he's fine with it." He said and a small smile formed on my lips.
"Oh okay sure." Connor said. "But can I ask you something though?" He asked Ash nicely.
"Of course, what is it?" Ash replied politely.
"Is Jacob your boyfriend?" He asked straight to the point.
Ash looked taken aback by the question."Uhm no, w-we just started going out. But we're not, uhm, you know, together." He said. "W-Why'd you ask?" Ash questioned with furrowed brows.
"Nothing really, just wondering." He replied casually.
"Oh okay." Said Ash.
"So it's fine for us to hang out right?" He asked again.
"Uhm yeah ofcourse it is. But I just don't want Jacob to think differently about it that's why I'm going to ask him first." He said while looking down to his hands resting on his lap.
"Well we're just going out as friends so if he thought about it differently then it's not your fault." He told Ash with a soft expression on his face.
Ash looked down into the sand with a thoughtful look.
"But I still feel responsible if ever he gets mad at me though." He said while fiddling with his fingers.
"Like you said, he's not your boyfriend yet, and you two just started going out. So technically, you are still free and can go out with your friends whenever you want, am I right?" He asked gently.
I swear if doesn't stop, I will beat him up the worse way possible. I don't even care if he's older or bigger than me.
"Well yeah, I guess so." Ash said unsure while still playing with his fingers.
"So I'm still allowed to hang out with you." Connor said with a huge smile, and it only fired up the anger that building up inside of me even more. "He can't decide if ever he doesn't agree with you hanging out with me or with anyone." He added.
Ash was silent for a minute and I had enough. Connor is ruining everything.
Now that Ash and are finally building something wonderful, he would show up and ruin it. But I'm not going to let him take Ash away from me. Not ever.
With that, I walked towards them with the cooler left behind. I grabbed Connor on the shoulder with force.
He turned to me and I took it as an opportunity to punch his sorry of a face. He dropped on his side while clutching his nose. I heard a gasp from Ash after witnessing what I did. But I was too pissed to care so I charged to Connor and punched him multiple times on the face. He may be bigger than me but I'm not backing out without a fight. He's trying to take Ash away from me and I'm not going to let him.
Connor kneed me on the side and I let out a pain-filled groan. He turned us over so now he's on top of me. He punched my face and I felt like my nose just snapped. But I wasn't planning on finishing it just yet. I will make sure to give him a good fight.
I punched him on his stomach which caused air to be knocked out his lungs. He fell to his side and I took it as my leverage to gain the upper hand.
"Stop it Guys, please." Ash shouted. But the both of us continued throwing punches at each other.
I sent one towards his ribs making him grunt in response before he himself, sent another punch towards me but was able to dodge it this time. Then I kicked him on the stomach making him fall to his side again and I went on top of him and continued raining punches.
"Stop guys, please!" Ash yelled. "Jacob, Connor, stop this now, please!" Ash cried loudly but I didn't care. Connor's taking him away from me and I will never let him. Never.
When Joseph and Breinard, along with the girls noticed the commotion, they immediately stepped in. Breinard and Lea came in and held Connor as Joseph and Rose tried to get me away to stop the brawl.
"What is wrong with you both?" Ash yelled with tear stained cheeks.
"He started it." Connor shouted at me.
"You deserve it you bastard." I shouted back angerily.
"I don't care who started it." Ash yelled out, interfering us with our angry fits. "I want to know why you two are trying to kill each other in front of my face this instant." He commanded with tears continuously falling from his eyes.
Connor and I both went silent for a second along the two guys who are holding him, and the two girls as well. We were both trying to catch our breathing while still glaring venomously at each other.
"Tell me now!" Ash shouted with a sob making all of us flinch.
"He's trying to ask you out on a date even though he knows you're already with me." I told Ash while glaring daggers at Connor who had a busted lip and a bruise on both side of his face which made me feel satisfied.
"You know damn well that I'm not asking him out on a date Jacob. If you eavesdropped then you should've heard me say hang out and not date. And those are two different things." He said smartly while still giving me a sharp look.
I laughed humourlessly. "I'm not dumb Connor. I know you will ask him out once he decided to hang out with you." I spat venomously again.
"Okay stop!" Ash shouted while glaring to the both of us and we shut our mouths. I didn't know an angry Ash is such a scary Ash.
"So you two w-were throwing p-punches into each others faces just b-because of that?" He asked while looking back and forth between me and Connor. And now he's breathing picked up a pace as his tears kept flowing freely from his eyes.
The both of us became silent while those who were holding us aren't still letting us go, just in case we started another round of throwing our fists at each other's faces again.
"Okay, no one will answer me so I'm done." He said before he walked out.
Joseph and Rose slowly freed me from their hold as well as Breinard and Lea towards Connor.
The four of them eyed us closely.
"The two of you messed up big time." Rose said as she gave Connor and I an unimpressed look.
"What did I do? I'm not the one who started it." Connor said defensively. "It was this idiot." He said pointing to me.
"Well f*ck you." I cussed. "You were trying to get with my boyfriend."
Rose shook her head. "I don't freaking care who started it or what ever reason you both were trying to kill each other, okay. Just fix this up." She yelled before she walked to catch up with Ash.
Connor turned to me and scoffed.
"The two of you went out on a date for one f*cking night Jacob. That doesn't make you both in relationship. Get you f*cking head off your ass." He countered.
"And that gave you the idea you can ask him out when he's clearly with me? You're delusional." I spat.
Connor let out a humorless laugh.
"How ironic. You're calling me delusional when here you are thinking you and Ash are together." He said. "Well I hate to say this but, I can ask him out when I want to. And It's not your decision to make. It's his place to tell me yes or no. And if you did eavesdropped, you should've known he said loud and clear that he's going to ask you for permission first. He was thinking of how you'd feel even though he didn't have to, seeing as the two of you aren't together. He had the audacity to put you first before his own. And here you are, using your assumptions, you're locking him up from everyone already."
Before I could respond, Lea stepped in as things started heating up again.
"That's enough guys, please. You already had Ash upset. You don't want that to get any worse." She said before walking off.
Connor shook his head before he himself walked off.
I sighed as I started making my way towards where Ash went.
"It's not a good time to talk to him yet Jacob." Joseph said. "I know Ash. If he want some space, we have to give him what he asked." He said while looking at my bruised face.
"I messed up f*cking big time, did I?" I asked.
Joseph sighed. "I hate to say it but yes, you did mess up." He said which made me feel awful with myself. "But that doesn't mean you can't fix things up." He added. "I'm sure when things goes back to normal, you can come up with something to patch everything back up. Just, give Ash the space he needs for now. Besides, Rose is going to talk to him. So just give it some time."
I sighed.
"Okay." Was all I said and he gave me a sad smile.
"Go to Lea so she can put some Ice on your bruises." He instructed and I did what he told me to do.
I made my way towards Lea who's already sitting there with a book in her hand.
She looked up after noticing me. "Ice?" She asked which I nodded.
She gave me a small smile before motioning me over.
"Don't worry. Things will go back to normal once the heat is out." She said.
"I hope so." I replied.
"Believe me, Ash never holds a grudge towards anyone. He may be upset right now but it'll pass. Just give it a day or two." She stated and I nodded.
I sighed again knowing Connor and I ruined our outing today. And to top it all of, we made Ash upset.
Just great.
So much for an enjoyable and relaxing day huh?
