Medical Room, Secret Facility....
Jungkook lay motionless, surrounded by beeping machines.....
The door opens silently...Taehyung slipped inside, unseen ....
For two days, Jungkook's condition remained unchanged...the bullet pierced his skin was removed successfully and he was out of danger....but his body was too weak to regain consciousness....
( his eyes are closed ok....imagine like that...pls...😑)
Taehyung stood frozen, gazing at Jungkook's fragile form on the hospital bed....
For the first time, Taehyung felt his stoic heart tremble.....Something unfamiliar stirred within him....Concern, care, and a deep longing to protect.
Taehyung's eyes traced Jungkook's pale face....Those soft eyes, now closed.......body look weaker than before.....
Then suddenly his mind recalled the fierce gaze of the same boy....Taehyung's heart battled his mind.....
Which face of Jungkook was real?....
The innocent boy or the snarling attacker?....
Taehyung's chest constricted.
He felt...helpless....
Taehyung's instincts screamed to shield Jungkook....he felt helpless in the battle between his heart and brain for first time in his life....
Taehyung's hand reached out hesitating....Then gently brushed Jungkook's hair...A spark of electricity ran through Taehyung's fingertips.....
What kind of pull he feelings toward younger??? An invisible attachment of red string....or...the destiny of fated mates.....Taehyung heart was not in his control....
Taehyung retreat his hand when the door clicked open...
Yoongi burst in, followed by Namjoon and jhope....
"Taehyung, what's going on?" Yoongi demanded.....
" I...I.. was just checking on him..." Taehyung shuttered...
"You're going soft on him," an jhope accused feeling shocked to see this new version of cold Taehyung....
"He harmed you!" Yoongi added.....
Taehyung stood firm... eyes not leaving jungkook's face....
"I trust my gut. Jungkook's innocent." Taehyung's voice out his heart.....
Namjoon stood calm and composed...may be he can relate to younger feelings...he himself met Jin in case where jin was accused for manipulation of evidence and his gut feeling said Jin was innocent and Namjoon tried his utmost to prove that.....
As Yoongi was going to say something..., Just then, Jin entered....
"It's true," Jin announced....followed by jimin with a file...
"Jungkook was under the influence of high-dose brain-controlling drugs...his body..his voice...everything was under control...just like a puppet..." jin said handing the blood report of jungkook to Namjoon....
The room fell silent....eyes on jungkook...a guilty look in Yoongi's eyes for shooting him...but it turned wide when they saw a movement in bed.
Jungkook's eyes flickered open....looking at the white wall around him and few new faces....
Jimin was fast enough to help him to sat up...he checked his vitals , giving a firm nod to others....
"Where...am I?" Jungkook stammered....
Taehyung's eyes locked onto Jungkook....
" you are in hospital...safe and sound " ...
" Officer...Taehyung ...you..you saved me..??"
Taehyung's face warmed....a small smile bloomed on his face....
Yoongi cleared his throat....
" do you remember , you attacked him...why...," Yoongi asked to which Taehyung glared at his hyung who ignored it...
Jungkook's gaze dropped...
" I am sorry....but..but ...I don't remember anything..." his voice trembling with tears gathering in his eyes...
" then what you know....how...how you reached there..?? Who captured you there??? Namjoon asked..his tone calm and composed...
"I remember...painting...Master's orders."..
"Who's Master?" Taehyung asked.
Jungkook's voice trembled.
"I don't know...I can't recall anything...."
Everyone looks at jin...
" side effects of continuous intake of drugs...he won't remember most of the things..."
The whimper of jungkook got thier attention...Taehyung moved towards him..patting his shoulder softly....
"We'll protect you," Taehyung promised....promise towards himself to protect this boy from all the negativity.....
" do you know how Master looks ?" Jhope asked...it will be helpful if they get a face to track...
Jungkook looked at the faces of everyone....trying to recall something...he lifts his hands...touching his own facial features...but suddenly gripped his left arm where a sharp pain shudders him......
" aaaahhhhhhhhhh" he screamed, taking others off guard....everyone shocked to see jungkook clenched his left arm tightly, screaming aloud....
" what...what's happening .." Taehyung panicked...trying to hold jungkook but the said boy shaking from unknown pain....
" jimin...get the scanner , quick " before jin can complete his words..jimin was on work...he returned within minute with a scanner...
Jin placed it above the place where Jungkook held his arm....
" what the hell....his..his body have a tracking device inside him...and..I think someone controlling it....this pain....may be an alarm..." jin said...his words feels dangerous....
Before they could register anything...one officer barged inside the room...
" sir...sir...we are attacked...."
Namjoon looked at other with sharp look..conveyed his message to get ready to fight whoever it is to attack thier secret base....
" ma..Master.....he..he is here..." jungkook cried....his body shivering like a dried leaf.....
" Tae...make sure jungkook is safe....jhope go to the cctv room...yoongi come with me.." Namjoon said followed by others....Jin and jimin was quick to help jungkook to get out from bed...Taehyung leads them to a secret vault room....
Taking them inside safely...Taehyung was about to return when his eyes locked with jungkook who was looking at him with a emotion which he can't name...but one thing was sure for him that....
His feelings for Jungkook is beyond his duty....
" be safe..." with those last word...Taehyung closed the door of vault and started to run towards the entrance where others will be fighting against the intruder....
Alarm blared around the base, indicating that attacker are close to them....Taehyung moved forward, handling few attacker in his ways smoothly.....he reached near suga who was shooting at some men of master...
" that's the master...." suga said...Taehyung followed his sight, looking at the man coming out from car with mask on....
Masked figure along with his men stormed inside the base...
Taehyung charged forward along with suga and Namjoon who threw thier empty guns aside...
Hand-to-hand combat ensued....number of attacker was more than the officers in the base...but still they fights with all strength....
Taehyung took down several attackers....but his eyes were fixed on master who stood behind his men...a devilish smirk playing on his lips....
Looking at the number of his own gang members decreasing easily...master emerged.....his tall and built body helped him to take down few junior officers easily.....his eyes were fixed on Taehyung...marching towards him with force...Eyes gleaming behind the mask....
"You'll never stop me," Master sneered attacking Taehyung....
Taehyung snarled....
" try me " ..
The two clashed....
Fists flew...
Kicks landed.....
Taehyung seized Master's mask, tugging it down to see his identity...but failed when master dodged him easily....
Master's mocking laughter echoed inside the combat area..
Taehyung's determination intensified looking at that....He grabbed the mask again with full force...yanking it away in one pull....the mask ripped, revealing a face....
Stunningly familiar...Yet, ..utterly different.
Features same as jungkook.......But twisted.....
Eyes blazing with malevolent fury.....not those soft Bambi eyes....
" jungkook.." Taehyung whisper, eyes wide enough to show his shocked state....one hand gripped master's collar and other holding his arm ...
"Nah....Jeongukk,...jungkook's twin.." Master spat laughing like a maniac....
The moment felt utterly silent....The team's shock was palpable....yoongi eyes wide looking at them while holding one attacker's neck in his hold...same for Namjoon who was handling two guys at one time...
"Impossible," jhope breathed while looking at cctv camera from different room....
Jeongukk's gaze locked onto Taehyung....Hatred seethed....taking the chance to attack...
"Trying to protect my brother,..impressive..." Jeongukk snarled , trying to punch on Taehyung's face but tae was quick to dodge it...
Taehyung stood firm....hatred in his eyes...
"You harmed him."...with that Taehyung was attacking jeongukk feircly.....
With renewed resolve....officers team rallied against master's gang....overpowered them without wasting time....and soon...the gang members were laying on floor with half dead bodies...
Taehyung captured the twisted mastermind.....holding Jeongukk in his deadly grasp.....
A back up team came and cleaned the area...and Jeongukk was dragged away......
Taehyung's eyes met Jungkook's who was coming towards them with jin and jimin who was supporting jungkook to walk slowly....
Concern etched on Jungkook's face, looking at the bleeding bruises on tae , yoongi and Namjoon....
"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked looking at Taehyung with teary eyes...
Taehyung nodded relieved......
Relieved.......
