I could feel my reluctance to say goodnight to them growing the closer we got to the house but I knew I needed to. I had to review what had happened, analyse my feeling, was this just lust or something more...
"What did you want to do tomorrow?" I ask as we pull up the driveway
"Will you show us around, we can bring a picnic" Angus suggests and I laugh.
"Okay, but please let me sort the picnic, Mary would be most upset if you brought it in" I reply and he nods his agreement.
Mary had left the porch lights on and they both got out of the car and walked me to the door. "Goodnight sweet Maisie" Angus said softly, his finger gently lifting my face up and his lips softly caressing mine. I swayed as he stepped back with a heated look on his face, his arms gently turning me towards his brother.
"Until tomorrow" his voice was tight, and as I looked into his face, I gasped slightly at the need I could see there "Go inside now darling, before i drag you back to the car and take you with us" Hector growled and I shivered, not in fear but with arousal at his tone.
"Goodnight" I whispered, lifting on my toes to kiss his jaw before turning and rushing through the door, his low growl following me. I leant back against the old oak and lifted shaking fingers to my lips, I had never been that forward with anyone, never felt the need or wanted to, not till them.
I heard their car leave and grinned to myself, I would see them again tomorrow, flicking off the outside lights I moved towards the stairs, freezing as I heard a footstep in the dark behind me "Mar..."
The throbbing in my head woke me and I flinched as I tried to open my eyes, the memory of hearing a footstep and feeling the pain of something connect with the back of my head before i blacked out returning. I froze, was my attacker still here, where was I. I cautiously opened my eyes again, squinting as I looked around trying to keep my body still, just in case.
It looked like one of the old bothy's, a little early light coming in around the cracked wood covering the windows, dirt covered a lot of the old furniture and as soon as I was sure I was alone I tried to move. My whole body hurt, aside from my head throbbing, I could feel other bruises forming, I was still fully dressed in my clothes from last night and shivered as I realised just how cold I was from lying on the stone floor.
The rattle of a chain brought my attention to my wrists, My first thought that my watch was gone and instead a pair of shiny new handcuffs circled them, a chain running from them to the wall anchoring me. I struggled upright, fighting again my body's protest at moving. The chain was short and as I gazed around, I grimaced in disgust at the bucket placed within reach, with a toilet roll next to it, it was clear what it was for. I stumbled to the wall and pulled at the chain, it was well fixed, the ring looking like to went right through the thick stone walls.
My gaze searched around again, nothing else was within reach. with a sigh I raised my hands, at least they were in front of me, and I carefully felt the back of my head, grimacing as I felt wet there, my hand coming away with blood visible.
I swayed as I looked down at my fingers, I had always hated the sight of blood, my mind again going back to last night, Had they hurt Mary? Who had taken me? Would I ever see Hector and Angus again?
I slipped down the wall, tucking my coat around me as well I could as I tried to make sense of what had happened as I waited, hoping help arrived before my attacker came back.
