A week later, Antonio gathered all four children in the garden.
“Your sister,” he began, looking at Dahlia with quiet pride, “has a gift. Something rare. Beautiful. And powerful.”
The boys nodded. They already knew.
“But it must stay secret,” he continued. “Because power draws danger. And people will come. Not now, but one day.”
Dahlia looked up. “Do I have to hide forever?”
Antonio knelt to her level. “No, sweetheart. You’re not a secret. You’re our light. One day, you’ll show the world. But first, we’ll keep you safe — until you’re strong enough to protect yourself.”
Eliot added, “And even then, you won’t be alone.”
Christian ruffled her curls. “We’re your shield.”
Theo hugged her waist tightly. “And your sword.”
Dahlia smiled through small tears. “Then I’m not scared anymore.”
Antonio looked around at his children — one extraordinary flower blooming in the middle of three loyal trees — and felt something shift deep in his soul.
He had built empires.
But this — this was his true legacy.
The Secret Garden of Light
Weeks passed.
The city faced a sickness — fast, strange, unstoppable.
Hospitals overflowed.
Antonio paced his office, eyes dark with worry. Dahlia watched quietly from the doorway, then walked outside into the garden.
She knelt in the grass.
And she sang.
Petals burst from the soil — radiant blue, golden-white, and bright pink. The air shimmered. Dahlia wept softly, pouring her heart into the ground.
Later that night, dozens of bouquets were delivered to hospitals across the city. Within days, the illness began to fade. No one knew how.
But the Anderson family did.
Months passed in quiet beauty.
Dahlia, now comfortable in her new home, had brought life and warmth to the Anderson estate. She filled the halls with laughter, the gardens with blossoms, and the hearts of her brothers with fierce love. Antonio guarded her secret like a dragon guards treasure. But fate had other plans.
