I found him in the design room with few other people who I recognized as his expert designing team. They were working on a blue strapless dress.
Elroy had a measuring tape around his neck as he listened to one of his experts.
He was working. The best thing to do now was to just leave him be, but I couldn't. I needed the full story. Why on Earth would he get into a fight with Lucas.
He should have been apologizing, not fighting.
"Elroy?" I called. His shoulders tensed up a little. All the eyes in the room turned to me. And all activities stopped.
Then slowly, he turned to me.
I gasped when I saw the bruises on his face, they were already giving a purplish hue.
He looked annoyed, but all the same, excused himself as he made his way towards me with long strides, he held my forearm, pulling me away from the designing room, straight to the direction of his office.
He pulled me into his office in a rough manner, then he slammed the door turning to me. "What don't you understand about not interfering whenever I'm busy?" He asked, glaring at me.
All I did was stare, he had a cut on his cheek bone and around the cut was a painful looking bruise, there was also a bruise on his jaw and he had a red nose.
There was also a finger print bruise on his neck, almost as if someone had tried to strangle him.
Lucas- Lucas would never- why would he do this?
My vision became blurry with tears. Elroy looked like he had taken a lot of beating.
What the hell happened?
My legs moved on their own accord as I rushed to him, pulling him in for a hug.
He winced immediately my body collided with his.
Pulling away quickly and cautiously, I took a step back.
"I'm so- I'm sorry." I stuttered, feeling my tears roll down my cheeks.
Why the hell was I crying?
"Lucas- Lucas did this to you?" I asked, my voice coming out small.
He rolled his eyes in anger. "You're just hearing about it now? It's old news Fay."
"Old- old news?" I raised my hand to touch his face but he flinched away.
"I'm not in the mood. What do you want?"
My breath came out shaky as I tried so hard to keep my tears from falling. It hurt me. Seeing him like this, hurts me.
He waited patiently for my reply.
"Well- well I just wanted to-"
"Wait- let me guess," He cut me off. "...you came to ask me why I beat up Lucas right? You came to yell at me and blame me for all the damn problems in his life, right?"
I blinked, trying to gather my thoughts. "No- no El, why would you think that?"
"Well I don't know, maybe it's because you always think the worse of me, maybe it's because you think Lucas is such a saint and doesn't have any bad sides to him."
"El-"
"I don't even wanna hear it." He snapped, angrily pulling the measuring tape from around his neck as he moved away from me, leaving me standing there like an idiot.
Elroy couldn't be lying about this- I mean, the proof was right there on his face, he was not lying. But then again, the Lucas I know, wasn't capable of doing something like this. No- that's just not possible.
I wiped my tears, turning towards his direction.
He was standing beside his table, going through something on his sketchpad. His infamous frown was on his face, but surprisingly, I wasn't scared.
"El, I- I need to know what happened." I said.
He ignored me, focusing on the sketchpad.
"Listen, I know you're mad and I know that you think I wouldn't believe you, but I just need to know the full story."
He still ignored.
"I'm conflicted here. On one hand you look badly injured, and on another I can't bring myself to believe that Lucas would do such a thing I- I don't- I don't just know what and who to believe."
He didn't answer.
He was mad at me, and it seemed like each word I said made him even more angry.
I walked over to his direction, placing my hand on his arm.
He froze.
"El-"
"Get your hands off me." He said calmly, but I knew he wasn't calm.
"Just listen to me-"
"I'm not... Going to repeat myself." He said sharply this time.
This wasn't going right.
"Elroy just-"
He shrugged my hand off his arm roughly, raising his head to glare at me. "Have you suddenly gone deaf? Or has your emotional stupidity blocked every single sensible space in your brain?"
I gulped, refusing to pay heed to his harsh words.
"At least lets talk this out, explain to me what happened."
He looked frustrated now. "Do I even need to explain? Isn't my face enough proof?"
"I- it's- you don't understand, El... I know Lucas, I know him very well. He wouldn't- he isn't capable of-"
"Shut up... Please." He managed to let out. "I can't believe you right now Fay. You still think I'm lying about this?"
"Then explain to me. Make me understand, El."
He scoffed. "It would make no difference."
"El-"
"Just leave me alone Fay. I honestly don't want to talk to you, I'm angry now, and it's taking everything in me to control myself."
"How can I leave you alone like this? You're obviously mad at me, and- and I don't want to leave with you feeling this way."
He moved away but I rushed to him. "Elroy please-"
"I'm seriously in no mood for this now. Honestly, just leave me alone. I'm not even joking now. " He said, trying to move away, but I blocked him.
"Fine, don't- don't tell me what happened." I said, watching him raise his brow questionably at me. "Just- just let me help you sooth the bruises okay, I'll get ice from the-"
"Thanks. I'm fine." He shot out, trying to move past me again.
"You don't look fine, El... Please- just- just let me... Okay?"
He shook his head. "I don't need your help. And honestly, I don't even know why you choosed to come here in the first place. You should go see Lucas, he needs your attention more." He said.
"Please don't be like this. I don't- I don't like seeing you like this. Let me at least get you some pain-"
I was unable to complete my statement due to Elroy's door bursting open, revealing the one person I least expected to be here.

Elroy's pov
No way in hell.
Lucas limped into my office weakly, a bandage tied around his head, his eyes was a swollen mess, there was a nose bandage over his nose and a small cut on the corner of his mouth.
My jaw dropped so low.
Fay's hand flew to her mouth as she muttered. "Oh my God."
He looked like someone had turned him into a punching bag, he had the most innocent look in his eyes. So convincing, so so fucking convincing.
Fay's expression was a dead giveaway that his initial aim for coming here, was working.
"I'm- I'm sorry to interrupt." He stuttered, holding his stomach as if he had been punched out of breath.
He joined his hands in a pleading manner. "I honestly don't know what I have done to you, Mr. Chesterfield, I don't know why you are so intent on ruining my life, but I beg you... Please- I- I was the one who wronged you, okay? I don't- I don't even want to know what the reason was but- please- my sister- my sister doesn't have anything to do with this. Please- please let her go."
My whole facial expression turned into the basic definition of confusion. "What the fuck are you talking about?"
Lucas coughed, stumbling a little.
That action made Fay rush over to his side. She held him upright. "Are you okay?" Her voice held so much worry as she tried to hold him.
"Don't- don't do this Fay." Lucas said, "I don't want to put you in trouble."
"Have you gone mad, you can barely stand on your own two feet." She said, looking scared for him. When her eyes met mine, they were filled with anger.
Her eyes that once looked at me with care and dare I say, Love, was filled with so much anger and hatred.
"How could you do this, El? What is wrong with you?" She accused.
Lucas looked up at me from the corner of his eyes, a small smirk pulled at the corner of his lips.
When Fay looked up at him, he winced in pain.
She turned to me angrily. "Why would you do this to him?"
I gulped, trying to figure out a way to put this in my favor, but honestly, there wasn't- Lucas had played this too damn well.
"You can't speak?" Fay yelled.
"I didn't do this to him Fay, you've got to believe me. I swear on my parents grave that this wasn't me... He's lying to you Fay. I didn't even lay a fucking finger on him."
She looked at me in disbelief. "Why do you even have to lie... It's pretty damn obvious. You tried to kill him."
"I didn't... He tried to kill me-"
"That's enough," She stopped me. "Enough of these lies. I honestly thought you had changed, I honestly thought you were becoming better. I didn't know you just took some time off to decieve me and every one else around you." She said.
I sighed in defeat, running my fingers through my hair. "I didn't hit him Fay-"
"I said enough of these lies. I'm done listening to them." She yelled.
I bit the inside of my cheek in anger.
"Fay, please don't fight with him... It's not his fault, okay?" He said to Fay then turned to me. "I'll quit the job, I'll leave Fay alone. But please, let my sister go."
"Your sister?" Fay asked him, then she turned to me with a hard glare. "His sister? You're holding his sister?"
"No I'm not." I argued indignantly.
"You threatened to hold Stacy hostage till I decide to quit my job, now she's missing from boarding school. My Mom- my mom is worried sick. I can't go to cops because it would be really bad for you Mr. Chesterfield, with the merge program coming up, it would ruin things, but the wait is killing my Mom. I'm quitting the job so please, let her go."
Are you fucking kidding me.
"Where the hell is his sister?" Fay asked in anger. "Why would you do such a thing, El? Where the hell is she?"
"I don't know- I don't have his sister Fay, why would I want to kidnap her? Doesn't that sound stupid to you? Lucas is obviously lying!" I was frustrated beyond words.
I charged towards Lucas, pulling him out of Fay's hold as I grabbed his shirt. "Why the hell are you feeding her lies!"
"Elroy let him go!" Fay yelled, pulling my arm.
"Tell the fucking truth Lucas! You care about her right? Why do you choose to feed her these lies?!" I yelled.
"Stop it El!" Fay yelled, trying to separate me from Lucas. "You're hurting him, Stop!"
I let go off his shirt forcefully, making him stumble to the ground. I turned to Fay. "He's lying-"
Her palms connected with my cheek, slapping my words back down my throat. "I hate you." She said, rushing over to Lucas, pulling him up from the ground. "Let's get you to the hospital, okay?" She whispered to him, assisting him up.
When they made it to the door, she turned to me. "It's either you let Stacy go, or you'll pay for this- I promise you." Was all she said as they walked out, disappearing from my view.
I stood there, dumbfounded.
My hands moved to rub my right cheek, where she slapped me.
I winced in pain.
Cade strolled into my office with his banana yogurt on his grip, while I stood there, still recovering from the ringing sound in my right ear.
"That was intense." He stated, leaning on my table.
"Lucas is a psychopath." I managed to let out, moving my jaw from left to right.
"At least plan B worked." Cade said, taking a sip of his yogurt.
"Yeah, but what do I do about his sister crap? He lied that I took his sister. That wasn't part of the plan."
"Well, him getting himself beat up by whoever, wasn't a part of the plan too." Cade reminded.
"He's trying to be smart. The Stupid guy just fell into the puddle I prepared for him. He's unknowingly digging his own grave, getting ready to bury his friendship with Fay." I hissed, as I tried to sit on the couch in my office.
The pain in my ribs was getting too serious.
"Have you called Damien yet?"
"Yeah... He's on his way to the hospital now, let's just hope he doesn't screw this whole thing up." Cade said.
"He knows better." I muttered.
I relaxed my head back on the couch. Fay trusted him way too much, her actions today was just enough for me to know how much he had gotten into her head.
I knew she cared about me, that's for sure. But she doesn't trust me just yet. She'd believe anything that bastard tells her, and that was exactly how I knew what to do to make her see his true colors.
I knew he would make up something, something to make me look like the bad guy. That was the only level he could stoop to, but I wasn't expecting it so soon, I wasn't expecting him to burst in looking like a torn out tomato.
It only proved that he could go to any length to make Fay hate me.
I hate you. Fay had said, straight to my face. But I didn't believe her. No, I choose not to believe her.
Lucas thought he was smart; I wouldn't argue with him at that fact.
But he should have listened to me when I told him that no matter what? I'm always ten steps ahead.
