ELROY
"No."
I said to my assistant at the other end of the line. "Listen Carter, set up a meeting with Judy Devon tomorrow, cancel the one I had with Lea Ann. Reschedule it for next week or something, Judy Devon has something different to offer, I'd love to see it." I said.
"Yes, Roy, I'll do that right away." He said.
"Okay." I answered, ending the call.
I yawned as I pushed open the door to my room. Shutting it behind me.
I looked around, no sign of Fay. That's odd. I checked my wrist watch. 8:00 PM. She didn't tell me anything about going out, did she?
Wait, why am I even bothered about her whereabouts?
I took off my tie, unbuttoning the first two buttons on my shirt and untucked my gray sleeves.
Then I walked to the mini bar around a corner in my room. Pouring myself a glass of bourbon, I checked my phone for any messages.
Nada.
I dropped my phone on the bar table, and took a sip of my drink-
"Oh, you're back? I didn't hear you come in."
I looked up immediately at the sound of Fay's voice, and the minute I did, the drink I took into my mouth found their way back out, making it look like I was drooling. My eyes widened in shock, confusion and awe.
She was putting on a lingerie from one of my latest collection, it was a black armless design. It was designed to look like a night gown but it was a lingerie, a very daring lingerie. It exposed her one of a kind skin, her legs, God those legs. The long silky cover she wore, did nothing to hide her- her very- very hot body.
What kind of a temptation is this?
I blinked several times trying to wipe the dazed look from my eyes, then I dropped the glass down and wiped my lips with the back of my hand lightly.
"What in hell are you wearing?" I managed to let out.
Innocently, she looked down at herself. "My nightie? Why?" She asked, making her way over to me, I couldn't help but stare at the way her breast and hips blended with her movement, almost like she was on a runway or something.
I blinked again, trying my best not to look at her body.
"Honestly, I can't believe you had these amongst your recent collection, why didn't you tell me? I'd have love to shoot in one of these." She said, picking a glass as she poured bourbon into it and brought it to her lip slowly, staring at me.
The thought of the whole fucking world seeing her in this lingerie, pinched my insides. And why? I had no fucking idea. And you know what other thing I had no idea about? It was the fact that all I could think off right now was tearing that lingerie off her body and-
Jesus, where are these thoughts coming from?
"Fay, that is not a night gown, it's a lingerie. It's design was just made to look like a night gown." I told her.
"Oh? I didn't know- but I still like it anyway." She shrugged, putting the glass to her lips slowly as she craned her neck to an angle, giving me a view of her sexy collarbone and neck. "Besides, you gotta admit, I look hot in these, I should do a shoot with it tomorrow, since I'm free."
"No. You're not."
"Why not?" She pouted, drawing my attention to her lips.
Okay, this is getting out of hand! Is it just me or is she coming closer.
Something is off.
"Are you alright?" I asked her, just to be sure."
"Yeah, why?" She asked, smiling at me.
Okay, time to evacuate.
I pulled back a little. "What are you doing Fay?"
"What do you mean?"she asked, feigning confusion.
"Are you- are you trying to seduce me?"
She frowned. "Really? So now I can't wear a lingerie anymore? I wear one and you're going to the assumption that I'm trying to seduce you."
"Of course, you're acting weird." I pointed out.
She crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm not, you are." She said.
"I'm outta here, when you're done with your nonsense, let me know." I went to the door, trust me, it took a lot of will power to do that cause I could feel the strain in my groin. Damn this libido shit. I paused and turned to see her stunned looking expression. "And please, change into something less, revealing." With that, I walked out.
Immediately I closed the door behind me. I mouthed the word. WHAT.
I placed a hand on my chest to calm my nerves.
Breath Roy, Breath.
Quickly, I went to my study.
____
When Fay walked in, she was wearing sweat pants and a tank top, her hair was tied into a messy bun, and her usual reading glasses were placed firmly on her eyes. In summary, she looked cute.
Wait what?
"You can come back now." She said, leaning against the door. When I didn't reply to her, she took it as a liberty to continue. "Look, I just loved that lingerie okay? I didn't know it's affect you that much."
You have no idea. I wanted to say.
"What? You think it affected me? I was irritated by it. Your stupid attempt to seduce me didn't work." I lied instead, at that moment of time, it seemed like the right thing to do.
"I wasn't trying to seduce you." She argued.
I stood up. And as soon as I did, I noticed her sharp intake of breath as fear flashed through her eyes.
I ignored it, making my way to stand right Infront of her. Her hazel eyes stared up at me.
"So, tell me... What were you trying to do?" I asked, my voice was hard, and her eyes were scared.
This was my way of getting answers from her, it was a simple trick I learnt over the years of staying together.
She sighed. "Fine, I was trying to seduce you, but obviously it was a complete failure and it was embarrassing, to me. I should have known better. I'm actually not sexy enough for you. I should have known." She said as she stood straight.
I took a step closer to her.
Evil temptress.
I raised my hand in attempt to push a strand of her hair behind her ear. But she flinched, almost like she thought I wanted to hit her.
Why would she think that?
"You," I started, brushing her hair behind her ear. "Are sexy. And is because it's normal for a model, its part of the job description. But- to see you try to seduce me like that? it was rather," I paused to look at her "Pathetic. I was too irritated to even get turned on." Big lie!
On their own accord, my hand moved to graze her smooth cheek. "If that was an attempt to sway me from my plans to tell your mother about your contract with Yvonne industry, then sorry to say this but. It didn't work and you know me enough to know that once I've set my mind on something, I never back out. I'm a man of my words."
With that, I walked out of my study. Standing that close to her, only increased my arousal.
Damn that evil temptress.
