' You thought you could fool me?'
Jihan and Jungkook froze at their spots not knowing how to react
' Who are you' Hoshin voiced out
' We came to de-'
' Don't fucking lie!' Hoshin yelled ' If you were here for that then why is the packet still in your hands and not on my desk
Jungkook's eyes widened when he saw the box still with Jihan Shit
Jihan was quick to stand in front on Jungkook.... something in him screamed at him asking him to protect the younger
Hoshin had an amused look seeing Jihan's action
' Remove the mask' Hoshin ordered...
Jihan sighed...there is no way out now...he thought as he took his mask off
' Hyung' Jungkook whispered but Jihan didn't budge... He saw Hoshin's eyes widening as soon as the mask was gone.
' Do Jihan' Hoshin croaked out ' Came to avenge your dear sister huh?'
' Shut up Hoshin....' Jihan spat as Hoshin just laughed
' And you...why is your mask still on?' Hoshin raised a brow looking at Jungkook
' Leave him out of this....I was the one who wanted to come here... I was the one who wanted to kill you' Jihan's eyes darkened as he stood straight
' Too eager.. aren't we? Maybe you forgot that you are here..in my place... killing me is a big thing..you won't be even able to lay a finger on m-agh' Hoshin groaned in pain clutching his hand looking at Jihan who had his hand stretched out the gun aimed at him
Jungkook's eyes widened when he realized why Jihan had asked for his gun earlier This was not meant to happen
' You fucker...Get him' Hoshin ordered as his men took a step forward
Jungkook was quick to swing forward grabbing the gun from Jihan's hand and pointing it at Hoshin's head... both of them standing face to face
' One wrong move and your boss is dead' Jungkook said...his eyes burning in anger when he saw the way Hoshin was now staring at him...
Jungkook removed his cap and mask revealing himself
' Jeon?' Hoshin breathed out but a wide smirk was now plastered on his face ' Took you this long to find me huh? Your dear friend would have been dead if you were late by a few days'
' Where is Bogum?' Jungkook grumbled..he Just wanted to kill this dipshit and get his Bogum and just leave with Jihan..but seems like fate is against him...like always
' Why so fast?' Hoshin chuckled ' He is enjoying his special treatment there...'
' Just fucking tell' Jihan growled
' What did you do to him?' Jungkook asked
' I didn't do anything..but yeah..you would have to do something when you get him out of here...alive..you know..poor kid is traumatized' Hoshin laughed but stilled when he heard Jungkook removing the safety of his gun
' Enough Hoshin...tell me where is Bogum... Tell me who is behind all these' Jungkook was loosing his cool...
' You really are under estimating me now... Don't worry... I'll show you what I can do'
Hoshin had a sly smirk on his face as he looked at one of his men... nodding his head..but before Jungkook could process what happened he heard a loud gun shot and a thud behind him.... He was quick to turn around...his heart stopping seeing Jihan on the ground clutching his stomach
' Hyung' Jungkook ran towards him pulling him towards him... laying his head on his lap...' Hyung no' Jungkook said holding him close
Hoshin had a victorious grin as he looked at the scene unfolding in front of him ' No one gets to order me around'
' Kook...K-kill him for me' Jihan struggled to breath as his clutched onto the younger's shirt
Jungkook's mind was going haywire... His memories rushing back to the night he held his sister's lifeless body like this in his arms.... begging her to just wake up....he heard Hoshin laughing like a maniac...he heard him ordering his men to treat Jungkook just like how they were treating Bogum all these months..but Jungkook was in some kind of daze... every word that left Hoshin went over his head as he saw how Jihan's eyes slowly closed...the grip on his shirt loosening as his hand went limp.... Jungkook stared at the man in his arms whose body was slowly going pale....blood oozing out of his stomach painting his own hands red... Red the color which was defining Jungkook's life for almost a year now.... The color which was now taking over Jungkook's world... For the world red was the color or love....the color of pride... strength but for him...red only meant death
Jungkook was forced to come out of his trance when he felt a piercing pain on his back.. making him stumble forward... He heard a low rattling...his blood running cold when he understood what it was....
He screamed in pain when the blades of the whip dug into his back tearing his skin... His heart dropping when Hoshin's words settled in him Bogum was being treated like this
Another painful blow hit his back..as blood splattered around...he held Jihan more close preventing the whip from even touching him...he muffled his screams not wanting to please his tormenters...as they continued to hit him....the pain was tooo numbing that he slowly started loosing his consciousness...he doesn't know when darkness overtook him...but when Jungkook opened his eyes again everything was dark....
He blinked his eyes looking around and saw the moon light seeping in through the window.... On impulse he turned around on his back only to have a painful scream leave him...his wounded back coming in contact with the cold floor making him feel as if a thousand arrows were dug into him....he sat up...pain shooting up numbing his senses... He got on his knees... trying to stand up when his eyes fell on Jihan's cold body....he wanted to scream...curse...cry..Kill... Yes Kill...he wants nothing other than Hoshin's blood in his hands...a dry chuckle left him as he thought of how his fate finally succeeded in making him a blood thirsty monster....a living devil who was now craving for a kill
He pulled himself up as a sense of nausea hit him... He saw his gun on the ground and pulled it up... He limped towards the door opening it...and saw two men staring at him...
Jungkook looked at them...or rather their eyes...what is that emotion in them?...Is it fear.... Can't blame them.. anyone would loose their shit if they see a person covered in his own blood...but still alive and holding a gun at them...yeah anyone would be scared beyond limits..but boy Jungkook was loving this look in their eyes... My Yoon would also have been scared like this this single thought was enough for him to shoot down the first man
' Take me to him' Jungkook grumbled looking at the other man who immediately compiled

' Your Jungkookie is finally here dear Bogum...alas he is no more alive' Hoshin laughed at the figure in front of him.. curled up inthe corner of the room...his cloths torn...ribs poking out..skin littered with bruises and whiplash wounds....

Hoshin loved the way Bogum was loosing a part of his mind everyday when he made the poor boy see the crimes he was doing...he made Bogum see how he killed people how he slaughtered them without a second thought...and then he would hit him till he lose his consciousness
He was still in thoughts when the door to the room opened as one of his men ran in
'Boss'
' What is it?' Hoshin frowned seeing the scared male
' He i-'
Hoshin's heart dropped when he saw blood splattering out of the man's forhead stopping him mid sentence before falling on to the ground...dead...
His eyes widened when he saw Jungkook walking in drenched in blood...the gun held high..with a murderous look in his eyes..
It now settled in Hoshin what devil he has awakened...this was a mistake he should have never done....
' Jungkook?' Hoshin's voice came out as a mere whisper...
Jungkook tried his best to move forward without falling but with each step...all he felt was pain.... Jungkook stopped when he heard a sound... the sound of chain...he looked towards the corner of the room only to have his blood boil seeing his friend being chained to the wall... looking nothing like the Bogum he used to know....this person here looked more dead than alive....
Hoshin saw the way Jungkook's eyes darkened...as the gun was now aimed straight at him....
' Jungkook li-listen' Hoshin stuttered taking small steps backwards..but Jungkook kept coming closer... His eyes holding not even an ounce of humanity
' I don't want to' Jungkook said...his voice rough
' Listen please' Hoshin begged ' It was not me...it was him...it was H-Hajin who called m-me asking me to accompany him..h-he told me that someone whom he k-knew for a long time asked for his he-help in getting rid... rid of the Kims and the Jeons... Jungkook it was never me.... Don't kill me... please... It was Hajin not me...you can take Bogum with you' Hoshin yelped when his back hit the wall...
Jungkook tilted his head looking at the begging man in front of him... even though it was Hoshin who was wailing...begging him to spare his life but all that he could hear was Yoona and Taehyung's painful cries that he had heard through the phone that night...all he could hear was Yoona asking Taehyung to stay alive...all he could hear was his Taehyung begging to just kill him and spare Yoona. The devil in Jungkook completely took over just by the voices in head as he glared at Hoshin who was now trembling like a leaf
' My sister begged just like this....my Taehyung begged just like this to spare them...' Jungkook laughed... A laugh that sounded like death as he aimed his gun at the shaking figure who was still begging ' But all you did was this!'
As the first bullet pierced through Hoshin's chest...a satisfied grin appeared on Jungkook's face...but he didn't stop...he shot him again and again on his chest...his eyes filling with the image of his sister's wounded body.... His frantic eyes searched the whole room and finally halted on a golf club.... He took it out walking towards the lifeless body of Hoshin hitting him with it till his mind calmed down...and the darkness returned.... Jungkook fell to the ground..the golf club still in his hands as he closed his eyes.. letting the pain take over

' Hyung... it's disconnected...I can't track him' Seojoon said looking at the monitor ' He was still there'
' I think we should leave now' Wooshik stood up ' It's good that you installed the tracker on him without even him knowing... Let's go now'
Both of them ran out.. getting into their jeep as they drove away

All the voices died down when they heard a low groan....
Jungkook tried to open his eyes...his head aching like hell with all the noise around him... He squinted open his eyes.. closing them immediately because of the bright light... Who even draws the curtain out on a sunny day... Yoongi hyung won't even bother to- Jungkook's eyes snapped open at that thought as he looked at the pastel pink wall in front of him... He was lying on his stomach when a man suddenly came in front of him from..god knows where... taking hold of his hand
' Kook...thank god you are awake' Wooshik smiled widely caressing his hair
Jungkook still looked confused at all of them...his mind slowly registering everything when he suddenly remembered what had happened ' Bogum? Where is Bogum? How did you find me? Bogum is here right? Why are you just standing still tell me he is alright and...Jihan...Jihan hyung..he-' He tried to turn on his back but halted when he remembered the pain he was in
Wooshik's eyes held a pained look seeing the younger ' Don't turn around Jungkook.. it will only hurt you'
Jungkook wordlessly compiled...his eyes still searching for answers as they lingered on Wooshik
' The pendent you were wearing...we had placed a tracker in it without you knowing... Seojoon had a hunch that you would leave without telling anything so it was his idea to use one of the trackers that we use at the base to be fixed into your pendent...we were monitoring you for all these months...and then suddenly your signal went off..so...we kind of rushed..and About Bogum..we can just say that he is safe...' Wooshik sighed
' What do you mean?' Jungkook frowned
' He..is in trauma... His whole body is covered with bruises and he was being deprived of food it seem...his body is just way too weak to even react to the surroundings...he hasn't even woken up yet... Dami is still treating him... let's see..he will be fine soon Kook'
' If only I had found him a bit earlier' Jungkook mumbled
' How did you find his location' A voice asked and that's when Jungkook saw another presence in that room
' This is General Kwon Sunghwan...one of the most experienced and skilled officer in our army' Wooshik explained when he saw the confused look on Jungkook
' Nice to meet you sir' Jungkook said awkwardly
' Drop the formalities Jungkook... You can call me hyung...just like how this idiot does' Sunghwan pointed towards Wooshik who just rolled his eyes ' He is like a brother to me so don't mind his antics... anyway you tell me everything'
Jungkook sighed as he explained them everything from the moment he saw Jihan.... By the end of it Jungkook was a broken mess..the image of Jihan filling his head.... Wooshik carefully hugged the boy.. trying not to hurt him even unknowingly..
' This is tough Shik... What are you gonna do?' Sunghwan spoke up after some moments of silence
' What ?' Jungkook asked
' Kook we just took you and Bogum out...but the rest of the bodies were left there and the place is now crowded with police....And now since we know what all you did there...there is high chance that the police can get you easily...its just the matter of some finger print and DNA test since your blood will be all over there.. also I believe that you are stupid enough to leave your gun somewhere in there'
Jungkook looked wide eyed at Wooshik who just shook his head ' I was right..so Sunghwan hyung that's why I said that I need to go there'
' What are you even gonna do?' Sunghwan asked getting impatient
' I don't know shit okay?? I just know that I have promised this kid here that I'll kill him the moment the police finds him...and you know very well that I can't do that ....hyung just appoint me as one of the investigation officer there and I'll somehow do something... I know this is all against our ethics and all but hy-'
' I'll send you there tomorrow' Sunghwan sighed as he sat back
' You will?' Wooshik asked expectantly
' Yeah..But Shik...there will be other officers..there will be the lawyer..and as far as I have heard the lawyer who is handling this is Seoul's one of the most capable and talented one even though he had just started his practice..and the forensic tea-'
' Minyoung will take care of the forensic team and the rest of the medicals... I'll see'
They all looked towards the door where a smiling Dami was standing..
' Minyoung is so whipped for Seojoon and the way she adores you Kook..she will be ready to do anything that will save you' Dami said ruffling the younger's hair
' Noona how is Bogum?' Jungkook was quick to ask
' Didn't wake up yet even though its been a whole day...he is way too weak that's why... above all his mental state is also fragile..we need to be careful with him... But don't worry everything will be back to normal' Dami smiled ' I'll be in the other room'
Wooshik smiled at her girlfriend who nodded assuringly before leaving
' Take rest Kook..we will be outside' Sunghwan said walking out with Wooshik..
' I hope you can save him Shik' Sunghwan hugged Wooshik who was determined on saving Jungkook no matter what

Wooshik drew in a deep breath before walking into the restricted area where many police officers were standing... He saw the forensic team collecting evidences...
' Mr Choi'
Wooshik turned around when he heard his name being called... He saw a serious looking man...or should he say boy..standing behind him...He looked too young to be even here
'Yeah?' Wooshik nodded..
' Hello Sir' The boy bowed ' I was informed that a new officer is coming for the investigation..'
' Oh yeah... That's me... Am Choi Wooshik... General in army' Wooshik smiled lightly ' Actually Hoshin..was rusticated from the military...so am here to just look up into the matters...So have you gotten any clues...who is the other officer incharge?'
' Its me' A man walked up to them with a sly smirk ' Am Kang Daniel... Seoul police...and you' He turned towards the boy from before ' You should just inform me when such important things come up...you are not even needed here.. what ar-'
' Mr Kang' Wooshik's voice hardened ' You are not allowed to talk to anyone like that...'
' But he is just a mere lawyer who just came into the field and somehow got this famous' Kang argued
' Excuse me officer Kang... I am what I am because of my hardwork and I am a successful lawyer by my own will... Loosing the crime that you investigated..to me isn't my fault...your capabilities where over estimated by the higer ups.. But me pointing out that you were wrong and defeating you in the case doesn't mean you always have to keep a cold shoulder towards me...be professional for once in your life Kang' The boy scoffed
Wooshik had an amused smile on his face as he looked at the boy
' Fuck off ' Daniel spat but immediately quietened when he saw the glare Wooshik thew at him ' I'll be with my team'
' Ignore him Mr Choi' The boy sighed looking at the retreating back of Daniel
' He seems to be an asshole anyway' Wooshik shrugged making the boy look at him with wide eyes ' You are cute ' Wooshik blurted out as a red hue spread over the younger's cheeks
' Uhm.. Thankyou?' He smiled awkwardly..
' I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable... don't take me wrong please...I have someone who is like a younger brother to me around your age..may be an year elder..... and also am loyal to my girlfriend' Wooshik laughed it off
' Thats a relief... I too have a boyfriend' The boy giggled
' You still didn't tell me your name' Wooshik pointed out
' Aish... Stupid me... So Mr Choi...Am Advocate Park' The boy smiled widely as he extended his arm

Wooshik furrowed his brows as he shook his hands Where have I heard this name before
' Are you ok Mr Choi' Jimin asked
' Yeah.. so fill me up with the leads' Wooshik ignored his building up thoughts
' Sure... So...what about catching up on that alongside a cup of coffee?'

Both of them were sitting in a near by cafe with Jimin explaining the case when something struck Wooshik...a recent memory of Yoongi telling him about one of his friends visiting him in Seoul
' Jimin where do you live?'
Jimin looked bewildered at the man in front of him who just cut him off in the middle of detailing the case just for asking him address..
' Busan...why?'
' You visited Seoul anytime recently?'
' Yeah... My Friend lives there...he works in some department shop...why?' Jimin frowned
' Jimin...a-are you talking about Min Yoongi?'
' How do you know my hyung?'
' How is Taehyung?' Wooshik asked desperately
Jimin's face fell...his expressions moulding into that of confusion...' How do you know my Tae?'
' Jimin... Jungkook is with me' Wooshik saw the way Jimin's eyes widened
' Jungkook hyung? How is he? Is he alright? Yoongi is still shocked by the loss.. how is Jungkook hyung? Is he coping up with it? Yoona was his life I know...h-'
' Jungkook is the one who killed Hoshin' Wooshik.. till this moment.. Don't know why he said that..but so far that's the best decision he had ever taken
Jimin abruptly stood up..took hold off Wooshik's hand.. startling the male.. dragging him out of the cafe..to his car
Jimin closed his door and turned towards Wooshik ' Now tell me...we can't afford that Daniel hearing this...'
Wooshik smiled lightly as he explained everything
' So you are here to clear off anything that points towards Jungkook hyung being the killer... Don't worry Mr Choi...I can help you with this...Just tell me what to do ' Jimin said eagerly
' Call me hyung Jimin ah..' Wooshik smiled as he explained how he has to collect the evidence all by himself...so that Wooshik can send all those to Minyoung and Dami...' There is one more thing you need to do'
' What hyung?'
' You have take that Daniel off this case'
Jimin chuckled hearing that...' Oh that's easy... But you have to give something in return'
' What?' Wooshik frowned
' Oh wait wait...I need two things' Jimin held out his two fingers... Wooshik internally cooing at the tiny fingers and the cuteness of the boy besides the seriousness of the situation
' What do you want?'
' First one is... Send Jungkook hyung to Yoongi...he is too lonely and is not even taking proper care of himself...so till Jungkook hyung gets an idea about where Hajin is and till all this Fuss calms down..tell him to go and live with Yoongi' Jimin's eyes gleemed with expectation
Wooshik had a warm smile ' That can be done... What's next?'
' Don't let Jungkook hyung know that I helped you with this... ' Jimin said playing with cuff of his jacket
' Why?'
' My boy friend Namjoon...and Jungkook hyung were best friends...and ever since Hyung had left for military Joonie had planned a million ideas on how he will officially introduce me as his boyfriend to Jungkook hyung who had a major role in our relationship... which me being the pabo I am never knew about until he left... So... I want Jungkook hyung to know me through my Joonie as his boyfriend and not as some attorney who helped him out of this'
' Your boyfriend is indeed lucky Jimin ah' Wooshik said pinching his cheeks making him giggle.

As promised Jimin threw Daniel out of the investigation team and thus the whole case shifted to Wooshik...who with the help of his friends erased every evidence that pointed towards Jungkook... once it was cleared he washed his hands off the case telling that he got a new posting in somewhere at the border thus the case again being handed over to Kang Daniel which eventually closed without even finding the culprit... adding to the list of unsolved crimes
And as Wooshik had agreed he made Jungkook stay with Yoongi for a while.... Bogum was slowly recovering..even though he didn't start talking to anyone nor did his sudden panic attacks subside..but he was taken good care of by the others... Jungkook was also healing. The pain is gone but not the scars..which still reminded him of the monster he was on that day
A whole year and a half had passed.... but the wounds were still fresh... Yoongi still worked at the department store...and Jungkook in some night club as a waiter... It was a usual Sunday morning...on which both Yoongi and Jungkook had a day off from work when they heard a knock on the door...
