' Dying?' Jungkook asked...his world spinning due to the sudden rush of emotions...death the phase which is connected to his life the most....
' I..my heart is failing' Yoongi mumbled as he saw the younger's eyes getting moist
' Since when?' Jungkook asked..his mind succumbing to the pain
' I wanted to tell yo-'
' Since when hyung?'
' A year'
Jungkook was sure by now that his fate is fucked up...
He stood there staring at his hyung who was shedding silent tears....
With shaky hands he pulled his hyung into his chest who quickly clutched on to his shirt...
' There will be a cure right?'
Yoongi's chest tightened hearing the hope that was seeping in through the broken heart of the younger
' The doctor said that a transplant can help...but..that will cost a lot of money Kook...'
Jungkook felt his shirt getting wet as the boy in his arms shook...his orbs travelling all over the small apartment that could barely accomodate two people...
' Don't worry about it hyung....your Kook will make everything right' Jungkook tightened his hold around the sobbing male

' What do you mean by a bodyguard?' Taehyung asked getting totally annoyed
' As far as I know...you had a proper schooling to know the basic meaning of Bodyguard' Jin said as he continued to go through the files
'This is not the time hyung' Anger was evident in his voice
Jin sighed as he kept the file down ' Joon has sent advertisements in every newspaper... Jimin is taking a day off from the court... Hobi might be there... Everything's set...I can't step back now'
' But I don't need a fucking bodyguard' Taehyung raised his voice as he stood up..
' You should have thought of it before roaming around in Busan! For fucksake don't play around Taehyung! Here am dying each day trying to keep you alive an-'

' Enough' Jin stood up...his eyes all glossy and face red 'I need you in the office sharp at 10. I'll be the one to choose the one for you... No more arguments'
Taehyung clenched his jaw as anger surged through him Then choose whoever you want hyung let me see how long he will hold up

' Where are you off to?' Yoongi frowned when he saw a neatly dressed Jungkook in black slacks and a tucked in white shirt and a tie
' I have an interview today' Jungkook said as he slipped in his shoes
' Interview? Why?'
' For a job' He shrugged
' Shut up brat' Yoongi scoffed
'I applied for the post of a bodyguard in some company.. You are quiting your job at the department store.. I'll inform your boss on my way..' Jungkook said as he looked at a wide eyed Yoongi
' But Ko-'
' If I get through today's interview...I can save it properly and can use for your surgery...and if not then I already got a part time job at a club. I'll just find one more'
' Jungkook... Don't over work yourself...let me be...just think that my purpose here is over'
Jungkook scoffed loudly ' don't start with that shit hyung.... I'll go any extend to get your surgery done...and you know that it's me who sets the limit and not the world'
Yoongi stood frozen at his place...as the younger dashed out of the doors...

' Cheer up Tae' Jimin poked him earning a glare
' How could you even agree to this? You know I don't like being watched!' Taehyung was getting frustrated
The interview had already started... Jin was the one who interviewed the applicants.... Tae and Jimin were in his his cabin waiting for Jin to come with the selected candidate... As per the plan Jimin was to accompany Jin..but Taehyung wanted Jimin with him...a demand for which Jimin craved for years...
Taehyung's patience was running out when the door to his cabin opened and walked in Jin followed by someone
' You?' Taehyung seethed in anger when he saw the man behind Jin who now had a reaction similar to his own ' The hell are you doing here?'
Jungkook breathed out.. trying to contain in his anger
' Taehyung' Jin's deep voice was enough to silence the younger
' Hyung why is he here?' Taehyung gritted his teeth...both of them glaring at each other with pure hatred
' He is your new body guard... You can call him JK' Jin introduced
' What if I don't want him here?' Taehyung asked his hard glare piercing into the other's deep orbs
' You don't get to decide that Kim Taehyung' Jin said monotonously as Taehyung scoffed
' Jimin ah... prepare the legal documents... And Tae... Warm up to him' Jin said as he walked out with Jimin leaving Jungkook and Taehyung alone
If you hate me this much...why can't you just kill me god Jungkook bit his tongue harshly...his face scrunching as the metallic taste filled his mouth
' Look Jk or whatever you are' Taehyung voiced out coming closer to him ' You were the one who told me that you wouldn't want to see me ever..then why are you here?'
' I didn't know it was you for whom I'll be working' Jungkook replied
' Well now you know....so can't you just quit?'
' No' Jungkook looked straight at him.... Something in his eyes made Taehyung frown.... He seems all harsh and ruthless..then why is his eyes so warm
Taehyung was taken aback by the answer ' Why?'
' The pay is high and I need the money' Jungkook shrugged ' I can't find a job that can give this high of a cheque in this short period of time' Jungkook was trying his best to not show how vulnerable he was feeling....but seeing Taehyung this close was not helping him in any way
' There is a job' Taehyung had a slight smirk
' What?' Jungkook frowned when he saw the other leaning closer to him
' You know?' Taehyung tilted his head to a side as he dragged a finger over the other's shirt curling it in his tie as he whispered' With a body like this...you can earn million '
Taehyung had a deadly smirk as his eyes shined in victory as he finished saying it hoping that Jungkook will now definitely drop the deal and go back. After all who the hell will want to work with someone this arrogant
Jungkook looked at younger who was staring straight into his soul....Since when did you become like this Tae?
' This doesn't suit you Kim' Jungkook sighed
Taehyung's smirk was wiped off and his facade broke when he saw the disappointed look in the other's eyes...a part of him hurt seeing Jungkook's reaction
' W-what?' Taehyung stuttered
' Don't try to act bad Kim... Your words can betray me...but not your eyes'
Taehyung was quick to tear his gaze off Jungkook..... His heart beating faster as his mind was getting clogged up again..
' I'll be joining from tomorrow onwards...' Jungkook bowed as he walked out leaving a heavily breathing Taehyung back
' Jk' Jimin called out as soon as Jungkook came out
Jungkook stopped as he stared at the two males in front of him ' Am Park Jimin... Taehyung's best friend and a lawyer... I handle the legal works here'
Jungkook just nodded as Jimin continued ' And this is Jung Hoseok... He runs a dance academy... and he is Jin hyung's husband'
Jungkook bowed to a widely grinning Hoseok ' Its Nice to meet you Jimin shi... Hoseok shi'
' Hey you can call me Hobi...no need of these formalities' Hobi chirped up
Jungkook just gave a tightlipped smile
' So JK...there are some rules that you must follow' Jimin voiced out opening a file extending it towards him
Jungkook went through the papers as a frown slowly formed on his face
' Is everything ok?' Hobi asked seeing his uneasiness
' Can...I ask for a favor... I know that I didn't even start working...but its something important' Jungkook bit the insides of his cheeks
' What is it?' Jimin asked
' Its said that I would have to live in Mr Kim's house....' Jungkook said to which both Jimin and Hobi nodded 'Can...I..go to my home atleast for one hour every day?'
' That's against our safety policies' Jimin shook his head
' Yeah...also you don't have to worry about anything... your uniform..food and stay and everything would be taken care off by us... Also there is an in built gym...so you don't have to go anywhere else......' Hobi explained
' It's not about that... I..need to make sure my hyung is fine...he..he is sick' Jungkook looked at Jimin who looked like he was having an internal conflict
' Jk..I don't think I can allo-'
' You are allowed'
All of them turned around to see Jin and Namjoon walking towards them
' You are allowed to go home...but only for an hour daily... Fix the time... Also don't worry about your brother's hospital bills...the company will take care of that' Jin said as the rest of them looked at him surprised
' No no Mr Kim...its fine... Whatever I get as my salary will be enough... thankyou for your consideration ' Jungkook bowed
' If you say so... But don't hesitate to approach me if you need anything' So saying Jin walked off not even waiting for a reply...
' Goshh my husband is so hot' Hobi squeakled as he ran behind Jin...
' Don't mind him' Namjoon chuckled as he looked at Jungkook who was startled by Hobi's sudden excitement ' He is a bit too loud....Oh I forgot to intruduce myself.. Am Kim Namjoon... Taehyung and Jin hyung's brother'
' Nice to meet you Namjoon shi' Jungkook bowed
Namjoon smiled widely showing his dimples ' So send me your address I'll come and pick you up tomorrow... I'll be the one to take you to Tae's home.. and show you around.....Now come with me.. I'll give you your new phone and all.. and also the important contacts'
' Yes sir' Jungkook nodded
' See you Minnie' Namjoon pecked the blonde who blushed as he whispered a low I love you

' How did the interview go?' Yoongi asked excitedly when he saw the younger entering
' I got in' Jungkook mumbled
' What's wrong?' Yoongi frowned when he saw the defeated look on Jungkook
' It's him...' Jungkook said weakly ' I am selected as the bodyguard for Kim Taehyung'
' You interviewed for Vante?' Yoongi gasped
' You knew?'
' Who doesn't know that Kim Taehyung and Jin hyung runs Vante come on Kook..how can you not know that! Kook... Taehyung is the founder of Amore.'
' Amore?' Jungkook whipped his head towards Yoongi he remembers?
' Kook... It's fine if you don't want to be his bodyguard.... It's totally understandable why you fee-'
' I have to' Jungkook was getting desperate 'Why did he even come back hyung? He was well off in wherever he was..why did he have to return....?
' Are you hiding anything Jungkook?'

' Tae you home?' Taehyung heard Jimin calling out to him... he was currently at home... getting ready for bed when his thoughts started eating him alive...
' Yeah! In here' Taehyung yelled back
' Gonna sleep?' Jimin asked settling on the bed
' Yeah...had nothing much to do' Taehyung shrugged 'When is the wedding Jimin... I have to go back'.
Jimin gulped ' About that.... You know... Actually we didn't plan the date and when you asked I freaked out and told you its this week..am sorry....I just missed you and somehow wanted you here.. sorry Tae' Jimin said in a breath as he waited for his best friend's outburst
Taehyung stared at the boy in front of him...there was a time when they used to share the deepest of secrets...and now..his best friend is afraid of saying even the smallest of truth to him How much more heartless can you get Kim Taehyung!
' Its Fine Jimin' Taehyung sighed
' Am so-wait what?' Jimin blinked
' It's fine... I also needed a change'
Jimin didn't know what to say...he just sat their smiling...
' Jimin' Taehyung called
' Yes Tae?'

' I need you to get me every information about JK' Taehyung said..his voice all serious
' That's not possible Tae' Jimin said making Taehyung raise a brow
' And why is that?'
' Jin hyung had locked out every source of his personal information....no one can get his details...not even his name....his every document.. his id... whatever was there to proove his existence... everything had been locked by Jin hyung... The only thing we know about him is that his name is JK.. and he lives with his hyung I think Jin hyung contacted Jaehyun...or else I could have gotten an access to his whereabouts till now...Jaehyun must have blocked everything... It's like Jin hyung is hiding something about him..as if he doesn't want the world to know that someone like him is even alive... I don't know...'
' Jin hyung did that?' Taehyung questioned...his mind getting stuck on what Jimin revealed
' Not only that... Jin hyung even offered to help his sick brother'
' Sick brother?'
' Yeah.... apparently he has a sick brother... And since our rules state that he has to stay here with you... he asked us the permission to go meet his hyung daily just for an hour..which is against our policies..but Jin hyung changed the whole protocol just for him allowing him to go home... And even offered to pay the hospital bills but JK was quick to turn down the offer and told that the salary was enough.... This is the first time am seeing Jin hyung behaving like this...also a mere employee who really needs money turning down such a big offer'
Jimin continued to ramble but Taehyung's mind wandered back to his office where JK said how badly he was in need of money
He is ready to work under someone whom he hates with his everything...just to save his sick brother? Your whole aura screams devil..then why does your heart seem to be that of an angel... What's so special about you that makes think so much about you JK?
And what's with Jin hyung these days...? I have never seen him like this...is he hiding something? I need to find out
