"Shall we go on a date then?" Bella asked, smiling.
"Really?" Chris asked, eyes widened.
"Yeah. Let's go out. Try making me fall in love with you." Bella let out a chuckle.
"You are asking me out?" Chris asked, gasping. And Bella cooed at his innocence.
"Yup." She uttered.
"Ask me out properly then." He said smiling, his pearly white teeths on display.
"Mr. Christian Wilson, would you like to go out with me?" Bella asked with a cheerful smile.
Chris wrapped his arms around Bella's narrow waist and pecked on her forehead, which caused butterflies dancing in the girl's tummy.
He then glanced at her and cupped her cheek with the other hand, out of instinct Bella leaned in the warm touch.
"It feels like a dream, you asking me out." He grinned which Bella returned.
"Now go take a shower, let's spend a day together!" Bella chirped and Chris chuckled.
"You literally look like you are going to a mafia meeting, Can't you be a little casual!?" Bella yelled glaring at Chris but he found her adorable instead.
"I am casual, darling." Chris stated.
"Casual!? You are wearing a fucking suit! How is it casual?"
"Okay, but this is casual for me." Bella sighed and took a step to take off Chris's coat.
He standed still letting Bella do whatever she wanted.
She pulled the tucked light blue shirt out of his pants. She then unbuttoned the first two buttons of his shirt.
She took a step back and eyed Chris head to toe. Chris rubbed the back of his neck.
"Darling, your looks are making me feel uneasy." Bella rolled her eyes.
"Shut up." She took a step towards the ravenette and rubbed her hands over Chris's perfectly set hair making them busy.
Chris groaned.
"What the fuck, Bella! You ruined my hairstyle."
"You are not going for a meeting being all set, this is a date. Messy hair suits you." Bella said, staring at Chris again.
She then took a step backward and a proud smile appeared on her face.
"Perfect." She whispered.
"Now shall we go?" Chris asked, grinning.
"Yeah.. uhm.. wait!"
"What?"
She took a step towards and folded his sleeves exposing his veiny tattooed hands. Bella bit her lips.
"Great, now let's go." Chris grinned and followed Bella outside their room.
"Which restaurant are we going to?" Chris asked on their way outside their mansion.
"No restaurants."
"Then where?" Chris asked with a confused expression.
"You often go to restaurants, I want you to have a normal day. Let's go to a cafe, I go often."
Chris nodded.
They both sat in the car, Bella confidently drove the car, her hands steady on the steering wheel as she navigated through the city streets. The sun was rising to its peak, casting a warm, golden hue over the surroundings. Chris sat in the passenger seat, occasionally glancing at her with admiration. He seemed relaxed, maybe a bit curious about where they're headed.
The car pulls up to a quaint, cosy cafe tucked away on a quiet street corner. The cafe had a charming, vintage exterior with large windows that allowed the warm afternoon light to spill inside. As they park, she turns to him with a playful smile, hinting that this is a special place she wanted to share with him. They exit the car, and she leads the way and he gladly follows her with a grin.
Inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft music playing in the background. The scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air. They find a corner table by the window, where they can enjoy the view of the beautiful sky decorated with clouds and the sun hiding behind them. Chris looked around, impressed by the cosy ambiance, while Bella seemed right at home, already knowing what to order.
"Do you like this place?" Bella was the first to break the silence.
"I absolutely love it." Chris uttered with a grin.
"What do you want to order?" Bella asked.
"Whatever is good here. By the way there are no waiters here?" Chris asked, looking all over the place with curious eyes.
"We have to order it there." Bella pointed towards the counter and Chris mouthed an 'oh' in reaction.
She stood up and went to order and came back with a tray in her hands.
"Have it." Bella uttered, already munching on her burger.
Chris took his burger and started having it.
"You know it's been a while since I've had breakfast?"
"Really!?" Bella asked in disbelief, keeping her half eaten burger aside.
"Yeah. I've had no time to eat breakfast in peace, I had to hurry up for missions and on free days I would just sleep till half of the day, as I've nothing to do."
"Oh. I'll go out on dates with you whenever you'll have a free day." She said smiling.
Chris nodded with a grin.
They both had their breakfasts, Bella paid the bill ignoring Chris's insistence to let him pay.
"Now we'll go to watch a movie." Bella said excitedly.
Bella excitedly pulls Chris into the bustling lobby of a movie theatre. The marquee lights flicker above, and the aroma of fresh popcorn fills the air. Chris hesitates slightly, looking around with a mix of nostalgia and uncertainty. It's evident that it's been years since he last stepped into a theatre.
Bella, noticing his apprehension, gives him a reassuring smile, gently squeezing his hand. Chris told her that it's been a long time he've had watched a movie and Bella was not surprised by the fact.
But she was a bit surprised that Chris watched a movie for the last time when he was ten or eleven. He went with his parents on their anniversary.
As they approach the ticket counter, she teases him about how much has changed since his last visit-new seating, better sound systems, and even the way tickets are booked. He chuckles, admitting he feels a bit out of place but is glad to be experiencing this with her.
Inside the theatre, the lights dim as they find their seats. Chris took a deep breath, immersing himself in the moment. Bella watched him with a fond smile, happy to see him reconnect with something he once loved. As the movie starts, Chris slowly relaxes, a genuine smile spreading across his face, grateful for the shared experience and the memories it's rekindling.
After two hours the movie was over.
"Enjoyed?" Bella asked as they moved out of the movie hall.
"Very much. Now what's next?"
"We will walk to the nearby garden. It's beautiful!!" Her eyes gleamed with excitement and Chris cooed at her adorableness.
"Mission butterfly starts now." A chocolaty eyed male announces with a dark chuckle.
The group of men nodded by their leader's command.
"Leave. Bring me the target."
Everybody bowed and left the hall leaving the man alone, he turned and took a step closer to the monitor in front of him.
He circled with his fingers on Bella's face who was walking with Chris outside the mall.
