"WHO THE HELL IS KIM TAEHYUNG?" I turned back to look at the person who called out to me and I saw Jessica, standing near the cafeteria with her hands on her hips and her eyes glaring at me. My entire system froze and I mentally face palmed myself.
Dang it! Not the principal's office.
"Looks like your death is here," Jimin chuckled. Thanks a lot for making me feel better.
I groaned and got up from my seat. I could swear I heard Jungkook giggling in one corner. After I am done with this, I am going to skin him. Alive. I walked towards her and followed her out of the cafeteria.
"Why did he call me?" I asked her and she just shrugged.
"Am I going to get expelled?" I asked her and she sighed.
"How the hell am I supposed to know? He just ordered me to fetch you."
"Oh. I see. Why the hell did you shout my name even though you know me very well?"
"Simply." I groaned in annoyance and she grinned at me.
Jessica is the principal's niece. She and I know each other very well and that's all thanks to the principal. I was called at least once in a week, either because of my marks or because of my mom. Jessica is a real nice person when you get to know her. She is a really popular person in our school and is second to Jungkook when it came to studies.
"Is it my mom?" I asked her and she glared at me.
"I already told you, how am I supposed to know?" she replied in a very angry tone and I chuckled nervously. We didn't talk after that. The walk to the office was pretty long and I was legit gasping for air.
We finally reached the principal's office and Jessica left me behind before turning back and giving me a thumbs up. I weakly smiled at her and turned back to look at the door in front of me. I was nervous of what the principal would say this week. If it is my mom, then I am out of here. I knocked on the door thrice. No response. Is he there or is it a prank?
"Come in." he said from inside. I turned the door knob and was expecting the principal standing in front of me with his cold, dark eyes staring at me with rage. Or my mom with a spatula in her hand. But, what I saw shook me to the core. He was playing Ludo with his daughter! Damn cute! I was legit dying over the beautiful relationship between the father and the daughter because it is really rare to see the principal being a softie. He was always barking and shouting at us. I had heard from Jessica that the principal had a little daughter who was studying in America. I never thought of meeting her in person. She looked like she was around seven or eight years old. But, she looks so cute. Kya~
WHY THE SHIT DID I EVEN SAY THAT? OMG! I SOUND LIKE THOSE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS IN ANIME! GROSS! GROSS! GROSS!
The principal saw me and pointed at the chair in front of his desk. I nodded and I sat down. He whispered something to the little girl and she nodded. She was gaping at me and I smiled at her. She blushed and hid behind her big teddy bear which was placed on her lap. Gosh! She is so adorable!
"So, Kim Taehyung?" the principal said and I nodded. He was holding some kind of a folder. Probably, it had my criminal records in it.
"18 year old?"
"Yes."
"And still you fail?"
"Yes." I said and he glared at me. He threw the file in front of me and my eyes widened with shock. The score was pretty bad. Not even one subject have I passed. The overall percentage was fifty-nine. Mom is so going to belt me today.
"The teachers have been constantly complaining that you are not paying attention in class."
"Yes sir."
"Tell me what am I supposed to do with you."
"I—"
"Send him to preschool." I sighed and looked behind to see Jungkook entering the office. Does he have to be here? Oh good. Even he is going to get belted.
"Jeon Jungkook. Come sit down," the principal pointed at the chair next to mine. I rolled my eyes and looked away.
"So, as I was saying. Taehyung, the reason I am telling this is because there is a new rule in our school. Those who don't get above 70% shall be expelled."
I gulped and looked at my hands. 70%! That is highly impossible for me. I can't even fricking score 50% and he is saying 70%. Why is the world so unfair?!
Expelled? That was one more weight on my shoulder.
"Sad kid. I wonder whether it is possible for him to get above 60." Jungkook smirked and I clenched my fists.
"I can, okay?" I snapped back and he rolled his eyes.
"We will see."
"That's why I want you to find a tutor immediately." The principal said and I nodded. I heard Jungkook snicker and I glared at him.
"And Jungkook." He turned his eyes towards the playboy and it was my time to laugh at him, "I have received a complaint from Yuna saying that you rejected her or something. Is it true?"
So the girls who were seated behind me were talking about her? Everyone in the school knows her obsession for Jungkook. Jessica told me that last time when she went to Yuna's house for some party, she saw that her room was filled with Jungkook's pictures. Big fan.
And she complained? That's pretty weird. Why would you complain about your rejection? That girl is weird even though I have never seen her.
Jungkook nodded and the principal sighed.
"She came to me today and cried for at least two hours on how horrible you are. You shouldn't have done that. You know her, right? She is a spoilt child and won't stop until she gets what she wants. Plus, her father helped us last time when we had financial problems. So if anything happens to her, it would be my fault then. Just, don't do it again. Okay?" Jungkook nodded and I snickered. He glared at me and I stuck my tongue out at him. Let's see how he is going to do that. After all, he is a playboy and it is the playboy's duty to break a girl's heart. I guess.
"Okay, now you can le—"
"Papa?" the little girl spoke. The principal smiled and picked her up and placed her on his lap. She was still clutching on to the teddy bear and was staring at me. I smiled and she blushed again. I could see Jungkook from the corner of my eye, stifling a laugh. If you laugh, you are dead, boy.
"Yes dear. What is it?"
"Is he a prince?" she asked him and she looked at both of us. I heard Jungkook snort.
"Why are you even laughing?" I asked him.
"Nothing. It's just that the girl has fallen for me and even called me a prince. I must be gorgeous," he flipped his hair back and I rolled my eyes. The signature move of the great Jeon Jungkook. The girl was blushing hard and I sighed.
"You don't even look like a prince. You look more like a mole." I said and he gave me the annoyed look.
"As if you are pretty enough to be a prince."
"Maybe I am pretty enough. You must be so darn ugly that you look exactly like a monster."
"You're just jealous."
"You must be the one who is jealous."
"Am I? No way would I be jealous of your looks. You look like a fricking potato head."
"Then you are a—"
"Boys! Stop. I don't think either of you is a prince. Both are equally handsome and hot," the principal interrupted and was startled when we both gave him the disgusted look.
"Really? He is hot?" Jungkook pointed at me and I made an attempt to bite his finger. Unfortunately, I missed it as he withdrew his hand and glared at me.
"What was that for?" he asked and I grinned.
"Pointing at others is bad manners," I said and he rolled his eyes. I heard the little girl giggling and grinned. Score: 1-0
"Since I am done talking with both of you, you can get out," the principal said. We got up and walked towards the door.
"I swear I am going to skin you one day," he said and I rolled my eyes.
"You wish you could," I replied back and we both looked away.
"Wait," we stopped and turned back to see the little girl. She was staring at us and her face was bright red. She turned her heads toward the principal and pointed her tiny index finger at me.
"I want to marry that prince, papa."
Huh?
Huh?
HUH?
