"Wait, you aren't going the right way." I tell Arthur, and he nods firmly. "What are you doing?"
"I'm kidnapping you William." Arthur snickers mischievously. I look at him with a raised eyebrow as he starts to wiggle his eyebrows at me. "The doors are locked, so don't even try to open-."
I pull the lock on the door, and Arthur smiles shyly.
"You could do that too, b-but please don't!" Arthur stammers awkwardly and I didn't understand what was happening.
He continued to drive on and we were in an area I haven't seen before. They were houses that were quite spread apart from each other, but for good reason.
For such a big size, makes sense as to why. I didn't know what Arthur was trying to do until he pulled up to a house. I looked at it in the car in silent amazement.
The house was definitely smaller than the one we used to live in, and I look at him. He continued to wiggle his eyebrows at me - not saying a word.
The house had a more..fortable-feeling. It was still big, but not too much.
"What...are you planning?"
Arthur shrugs, rushing out of the car. I see him go around and he helps me out the car. When I go for the babies he easily took them out, holding them both in his arms. I was confused where this energy came from.
At least he seemed happier now. He was no longer with me, so he could be this way.
I follow behind him while he runs to the front doors. When he puts a code in, I watch them open themselves. He looks back at me and smiled excitedly.
"Isn't that so fancy?!" He squeals to me. I am happy that he's back to normal...and just seems happier. That's how I know I was holding him back.
"It is very fancy." I smile at him sadly. Arthur nods for me to go inside first and I might as well.
As soon as I step inside I find my body smacking into a big poster. I step back and saw there was writing on it.
Welcome home, William!
I frown, looking back at him. He had a proud smile on his face and I didn't know what he was doing.
"Arthur you deserve better, I left you...so that you could get away from me." I remind him.
"I know...but by technicality, we're still married. You gave me your ring, for all I know I'm supposed to send it in for a cleaning - who knows!" He sighs peacefully, and I look at him like he's crazy. "You were right though, with the ring analogy you gave."
I frown, for some odd reason not able to remember what I said. He seemed to notice as he nodded at the twins. I take them from him, and he now stepped maybe a foot away from me.
I wasn't sure what he was trying to do, but it was...reminiscent of something.
"You said...the rings bonded us together into a toxic relationship. These rings did that, right?" Arthur shows me the rings we once wore, and I nod.
"They did."
"Then..."
I watch Arthur begin to lower himself before me and I tried to stop him. Except he wouldn't let me. He was on one knee before me and pulled out a ring box. When he opens them I see two brand new wedding bands, and I shake my head.
"Arthur don't do this to yourself-."
"No William, don't do this to yourself... Don't do this to me... I love you." Arthur murmurs to me and I heard myself whimpering. "I can't be with anyone else but you. You said the ring was the root of the problem and held together something toxic; so I got new rings. We can start anew, with these."
I continue looking down at him sadly because this goes against everything I have tried to do. I...don't want him to be with me. He deserves better than me.
"I deserve only you. It truly doesn't matter what you do. Stop...and look at who are in your arms." He tells me, and I look.
I see Archie and Wren sleeping soundly...that's what I see. I saw the both of us and what we created...I saw that too. When I look back at Arthur he grinned lovingly up at me and I inhale sharply.
"You must really like me." I snicker, and Arthur nods adamantly. "And I really like you."
"You do, huh?" Arthur smiles as he begins to stand. I see him raise his eyebrow when I nod at my hand. I couldn't exactly move it because I was holding Wren.
That's when Arthur takes him, and then he takes my left hand. As soon as he puts the ring on I yank my hand back, seeing him raise his eyebrow.
That's when I wiggle my eyebrows, smirking.
"You're stuck with me...for forever now, you know that right?"
Arthur's eyes widen, only for them to soften as he smiles.
"That's all I could ever want."

"I don't want you to go..." I whimper, Raphael looking down at me with a saddened expression.
"I don't want to go either... I'll miss you and my son and not to mention I can't come back after a little while... Have to wait until my visa is up again." He states, sighing as he looked over my shoulder. "I'll be back. I need to talk to Arthur."
I watch him walk around me as I see Arthur wiping his eyes. Seeing Raphael begin to talk to him as Arthur nodded at him. Seeing him smile as they suddenly hugged.
William was beside Arthur as he rubbed his back. But his eyes were on me, watching him narrow them as he shook his head. Yet I didn't have time for his judgements. I did what I did and am feeling what I'm feeling. I can't help it so.
To think they just had their twins... Archie and Wren, are the names they gave them. I have nothing negative to say because those names are really cute.
It's just...all I can focus on is him.
Raphael pulled away from Arthur, seeing him grin as he looked to me. Walking towards me as he hugged me to him. Making me sigh a shaky sigh as he pulls me closer.
"I just don't fucking understand." I cry, wrapping my arms around him as I felt him tighten his. Feeling them at the low of my back and him leaning forward as he hugged me tighter and tighter.
"I don't either mon lion... But I must leave, if I don't I may get tracked and I really won't be able to come back."
"I know that! But I don't understand why you have to be pulled away from me. We are meant for one another...the spark and everything! It's just not fair..." I whimper, and he pulls back until his forehead rests against mine.
Looking down at me as I stared into his eyes.
"I'll be back. I just won't be able to be back for some time-."
"And that's not fair to me." I snap, and I look over at Arthur. I saw him talking with William and I know their babies were in the car with the older twins. Now they have four kids on their plate...insane. "That could be us."
When I look at Raphael his eyes looked stunned. It began to dawn on me what I said and I felt my face heat up. I don't regret what I said, but his reaction didn't seem all that...thrilled.
I wouldn't say that actually, more startled.
"I have...not been a good father, at all. You've seen how I am, I don't think I can risk that. Ruining another child, especially one with you. I think you can and will do better, don't risk it with me." He tells me solemnly, but I didn't agree with that notion.
Before I can respond I hear the intercom call for passengers to France. I see him look over his shoulder, then back at me.
"I think you have it all wrong." I shake my head.
"I do not. I can't be a good father, I never was."
"That's false!" Arthur snaps, and I gasp. When I look I see him point at Raphael, his eyes dripping with tears. "You are capable of being a good father, and you showed that to me. Stop lying to yourself, stop ruining your future chances because of your past. It really...doesn't matter."
I glance back at Raphael, seeing his eyes practically sparkling. He goes to Arthur and just hugs him. To see them hug was nice, but when he pulled away they both looked content.
But I wasn't.
"Goodbye Dylan, mon lion." Raphael murmurs to me, except as he walks past me I grab his arm. When he looks back I grab the collar of his shirt.
I yank him towards me so that we make eye contact. He looked surprised, but at the same time just genuinely amused. That's when I glare at him.
"I'm going to find you, because you're mine. I'm going to France!" I shout, shoving him away. His eyes widened as I shove past Arthur and William.
I was going to buy tickets, and I was going to go there! I don't care what I have to do - I will have him!
There's no ifs or buts about it. There's no point in discussing or talking it - I will have Raphael Martin.
